We've been at this prom for about an hour and they've played no hype songs. This is why I don't go to proms or school dances.

The girls were out on the floor dancing to Beyoncé - End Of Time. I was texting Aziyah. Kiara was drinking punch and taking videos to post on Instagram. Dre was somewhere round here with Keko. I have no clue. My phone vibrated again.

A.Ziyah😌: Omg. Is that prom over yet? I'm so bored.

Hoes💥🔫: Lol chill. It'll be over at 10:00.

A.Ziyah😌: But it's only 8 something.

Hoes💥🔫: But I won't be home to round 12 something.

A.Ziyah😌: Omfg , Jordan! Y?

Hoes💥🔫: The boys and Kiara and I are taking the girls out for dinner at some fancy restaurant.

A.Ziyah😌: 😡😓

Hoes💥🔫: Whaa?

A.Ziyah😌: Well I had cooked dinner and was hoping we could catch up.

Hoes💥🔫: What did you cook?

A.Ziyah😌: Y does it matter? Your not coming home soon anyways.

I groaned mentally and looked at Tatianna who was laughing and dancing very weirdly. I laughed a little bit. Would it hurt to reschedule the date with Tati? Nah , ion think so.

Hoes💥🔫: I'll be home round 10:30.

A.Ziyah😌: Really?? 😁

Hoes💥🔫: Yea . Really . Just hold it down til I get back.

A.Ziyah😌: I gotchu J.

Hoes💥🔫: I know you do.

I slipped my phone into my pocket.

Me: Yo Kiara.

Kiara: Wassup J.

Me: Do you think it's wrong if I skip out on the group date?

Kiara: Depends on the reason.

Me: Uh , an old friend whose also an ex is staying at my house and she wants me home.

Kiara: Then yes. Yes that'll be wrong. What the hell are you thinking?

Me: I just want to make her happy.

Kiara: Which ex is this?

Me: Aziyah.

Kiara: Dude. Your gonna miss the date for some bitch that up and left without giving you an explanation?

I was silent and just looked at her.

Kiara: You think about it. Who am I to tell you what and what not to do.

She got up and walked off somewhere. I groaned. The song changed to some slow weird song with some weird beat. Seriously?

People started getting coupled up. Tatianna walked over to me.

Tatianna: Hey.

Me: Sup.

She grabbed my hands and pulled me up. We went to the floor. I placed my hand on her waist and she placed her left on my right shoulder and the right one intertwined with my left one. We swayed side to side.

Tatianna: Jordan.

Me: Yeah.

Tatianna: Thank you.

Me: For what?

Tatianna: Everything.

I was thinking for about a minute.

Me: Your welcome.

I was nervous. I looked at Janice at the punch bowl. She looked so beautiful in her Black Lace Long Sleeves Cut Out Maxi Dress and her Black Hardware Strappy Open Toe Heels Faux. Wait , what the hell is happening.

Me: Uh Janice.

She turned around and smiled.

Janice: Oh h-

She was cut off by some dude coming up to her and grabbing her wrist.

Dude: Your gonna dance with me shawty.

He licked his lips.

Me: Nigga , get your hands off of her.

Dude: And what are you gonna do if I don't?

I walked infront of him and opened the right side on my jacket to show I was packing heat.

Me: And there's other niggas round here that got em too. Get at me.

Dude: Sorry man.

Me: Yeah move.

He walked off to some other girl.

Janice: Heh , thanks.

Me: No problem. Your mine now.

Janice: What if I don't wanna be yours?

Me: Do you wanna be mine?

Janice: Well yeah.

She looked down blushing. I grinned and grabbed her chin.

Me: Then your mine and only mine.

I connected our lips. She played in my waves. Hey , that actually feels good.

They played Hit The Quan and Sierra ran to the floor pulling me and Janice. We all got in a circle and started dancing. It was me , Janice , Sierra , Jayden , Selena , Keko , Khalayah , Kiara , Jordan and Tatianna all in the circle.

Tati laughed and we all started dancing. People cleared way cause it was 10 of us. I don't see why they moved but more room.

We danced the entire song and laughed when it went off walking back off the floor.

Tatianna: Imma go to the bathroom.

Khalayah: I'll go with you.

Selena: Oh me too.

Sierra: Me too.

Janice: I'm going for more punch.

They all went to the bathroom as Janice went to the punch bowl.

Kiara: Yo J. Follow me.

She got out and I followed her. We ended up in the hall. There were a few people out here but not to much.

Kiara: So you make a decision yet.

Me: On what?

Kiara: Aziyah or Tatianna.

Me: Oh. That. Nigga , you making it seem like I gotta choose between them.

Kiara: I mean you kinda do. If you choose Aziyah , that means Tatianna is gone be hella pissed at you and probably won't even talk to you , and if you choose Tatianna , Aziyah is gone be hella pissed at you but I don't see why that's important.

Me: I hate it when she's mad at me.

Kiara: Who Tati or Aziyah.

Me: Both. When Tati's mad , it's like world war-

I was cut off by two pops. Loud pops. People screamed and ran out. We pulled our guns out and ran in. We found Dre , Jayden and Keko they had their guns out.

Me: Where's Janice and the girls?

Dre: Janice went inside with the girls then the pops happened.

We went over to the door cautiously. Kiara opened the door and everybody flooded in including Dre and Keko's gay asses. On the ground was Tatianna and the person trying to stop her bleeding is Khalayah and Sierra. Selena and Janice was no where in sight.

Me: Fuck bruh.

I crouched on my knees beside Tati.

Me: What happened?

Sierra: Th-They came out the stall and opened f-fire.

Me: Who?

I grabbed more paper towels and we switched out the paper towels. Khalayah threw the bloody one somewhere behind her. I looked behind me and saw no one they must be looking for Selena and Janice.

Khalayah: Taylor. Imani was with her.

Me: What did Imani do?

Sierra: She shot Tati in the back.

Me: How did this happen.

Sierra: Tati was coming out of the stall beside the big one and Taylor was hiding in that one and Imani was in the other side.

Me: It's like they knew she was going to go into that stall.

( Before It Happened / Tatianna )

I ran into the stall about to piss my self.  I heard the girls laughing.

Me: Shut up. That punch makes you have to piss.

Sierra: Nah , you just got a tiny bladder. Well that's what mom said.

I laughed.

Me: I would so hit you right now.

I walked out and washed my hands .

Khalayah: Tati-

Before she could finish her sentence I heard two loud pops and felt a pain in my back and one in my chest. I instantly dropped to the ground. My vision started fading in and out. Khalayah and Sierra ran to me while everybody else ran out after two people.

Khalayah: Stay with me babygirl.

They tried to stop the bleeding. I felt tears come out my eyes. It hurts. I tried to scream but only thing that came out was blood.

Am I dying?
