Jordan P.O.V.

I walked in with my girlfriend. I went up to the desk where the lady was on the phone at.

Lady: How may I help you?

Me: What room is Veronica Simpkins in?

Lady: What is your relationship with her?

Me: I'm her daughter and this is my girlfriend.

The lady nodded her head.

Lady: Well then she's in room 317 on the third floor. The doctor should be in there soon.

Me: Alright. Thank you.

Lady: Your welcome and you two make a very cute couple.

Tatianna smiled at her.

Tati: Thank you.

Lady: No problem.

We walked to the elevator. I pressed 3 and it started moving.

Tati: When we leave here , can we get some food?

Her stomach growled and loudly.

Me: Anything you want baby.

Tati: Omg thank you.

I just kissed her saying your welcome. We walked out the elevator and to the room. We went in and saw my step sisters Hannah and Ashly. Their not twins. Hannah is older with being 21 and Ashley being younger and 19.

Me: Any words from the doctor?

Ashly: No.

Me: Okay.

I sat down and Tati stood by the door.

Me: Why you still standing?

Tati: To hungry to sit.

Me: If you want you can drive to the iHop down the street.

Tati: Nah. I'll just wait for you.

Me: Okay.

She came and sat on my lap. I put my face in her neck and she played with my hair.

Hannah: So who's she?

Me: This is Tatianna. My girlfriend. Tatianna , these are my step sisters Hannah my favorite and Ashly the pain in my ass.

Tati laughed.

Tati: Nice to meet you both.

Ashly mumbled.

Ashly: Nah. The pleasure is all mine.

Me: Nah. Hol up now Ashly , you fucked my last girl , you not fucking this one.

Ashly: Why? She probably at thot too.

Tati stood up and got in her face.

Tati: Her last girlfriend is a slut. Me? I'm no where near it. Haven't cheated , never have. Now , I'd like it very much if you would stop tryna compare me with that dirtbag. Got it?

Ashly: Yea. Shit Jordan you were right. She not like Alonna.

Me: I know.

The doctor came in.

Doctor: Good morning. Ms. Henderson is stable but she's in a deep coma. We don't know when she'll wake up or if she'll wake up at all. Bullet one traveled into her intestines. It was a miracle we were able to stop the bleeding and bullet two went through her skull which made her slip into a coma. Any questions?

Nobody said anything.

Doctor: Okay then. You ladies have a nice day.

He walked out after putting up the clipbord. Hannah stood up.

Hannah: Well I have to get to work. Jordan can you take Ashly? I'll pick her up when I get off.

Me: Don't worry about it. She can stay with me.

Hannah: Thanks.

Me: No problem.

Hannah got up and walked out. Tati's stomach growled again.

Tati: In the mean time. Im still hungry.

Me: Here take the keys and go wait in the truck with Ashly. I'm just gonna sit here for a minute. I won't be long.

Tati: Okay baby. Love you.

Me: Love you too.

She kissed my cheek and got off my lap and walked out with Ashly. I waited a few seconds before taking her fragile hand into mine. I started talking to her.

Me: Mama , please wake up. Please pull through. I can't lose you. Beside Tati , your all I have left. Sure I have my crew , but I need my mommy. I love you so much mommy. I'll be back either tomorrow or later.

I kissed her cheek and walked out her room. I went back to the parking garage and saw Tati in the drivers seat and nobody in the passenger seat so I'm guessing Ashly in the back. I went to the passenger door and climbed in. Tati started the engine after locking the doors.

Tati: You just want to go home?

Me: Sure. Just too a bit later.

Tati: I need for you to drop me off first.

Me: Okay.

She started driving.

Me: Why don't you like driving SUV's?

Tati: Their to big.

Me: You said that bout my s-

Tati: Shuddup Jordan.

I laughed and put my hand on her thigh.

Me: Fine.

She drove to her house.

Tati: Bye Ashly.

Ashly: Bye Tati.

Me: Bye baby I'll be by later.

Tati: Okay.

I slid over into the drivers side as she got out and Ashly took the passenger seat.

Tati: Bye babe.

I kissed her lips having to bend down because she got out of the truck fully. I waited until she got in the house and closed the door before pulling off.

Ashly: I like that one. She's better than all the rest.

Me: I know.

Ashly: So what made you settle down with her?

Me: Well the first month I went out with her , I was playing her. But then I started to actually catch feelings for her so I dropped my hoes for her. They got made and I haven't heard from them. Alonna tryna break everybody up including us so yeah.

Ashly: Damn.

Me: Yeah I know. Where you want to go for breakfast?

Ashly: IHOP sounds good.

Me: Surely does.

I drove to IHOP and we went in.

I saw my mom on the couch.

Mom: Oh hey sweetie. Where's Jordan?

Me: Oh she's with her cousin Ashly some where.

Mom: Oh okay. Well Your father has guest coming over later today so please dress nicely.

I walked into the kitchen.

Me: Okay. Who are they?

I grabbed the bacon and eggs and a skillet.

Mom: Their his coworker Larry and his wife Lauren and their children Darren and Darryl.

Me: Oh okay. Time?

Mom: 6:00 pm.

Me: Okay. I have a school project and my partner is coming over here round 3:00.

Mom: Oh that's fine.

Me: Okay.

I put my food on a plate and sat beside my mom. Leyah came downstairs and sat on the floor and watched cartoons. Mom stole a piece of bacon from my plate and Leyah stole some eggs. I finished the rest. I looked at my phone and it said 10:25.

Me: I'm going back to sleep.

Mom: Okay.

I put my plate in the sink and went upstairs. I put on some shorts and a tank top and got back in bed.
