bucky was sad  .   kind of , really sad . i mean , it was almost midnight on his birthday , and his boyfriend didn't even realize it . he was trying to tell steve , but the blonde thought it was just another day .

so he spent his birthday alone , crying , and sniffling . hugging his chest as he cried , because his boyfriend was out on a mission  .  

it turned midnight , and Bucky sighed , drinking whiskey . " happy 27th birthday to me . " he whispers , not hearing the door open  .
