"C'mon, Stevie," Bucky says as he takes a seat on the couch and pulls his headset on. Steve sighs softly as he sits beside him.

"Do I have to?"

"You'll love it. Trust me," Bucky assures and grins over at him. Steve nods quietly and pulls on his own headset, adjusting his mic carefully. They pick up their controllers and Bucky boots up the game.

"Halo?" Steve asks as he watches the game intro. Bucky nods.

"Yep." Bucky hums.

"Hey Barnes, you ready to get your *ss kicked?"

"I'll get you first, you know, Piet," Bucky retorts and the man on the other end snorts. "That's Pietro, he's an *sshole. Say hi to Steve, Pietro."

"Hey, Stevie," Pietro quips. "I've heard you're cute. Bucky brags sometimes."

Steve blushes and clears his throat. "Hi."

"Sounds handsome. Let's see how he plays," Pietro grins, leaning forward on his bed. Wanda steps by and looks at him, smirks, and rolls her eyes before joining in.

They start up the game and Steve frowns as he tries to figure the controls. Bucky leans over and helps him while the others prepare.

"All good?" He asks and Steve nods, arming his character.

The game begins and Pietro immediately starts shooting Steve's character.

"What! Hey!" Steve protests as he tries to move his character to safety. Pietro laughs and Bucky smirks.

"Pietro," Wanda scolds, but he knew she was smiling. "Hi, Bucky," she adds and Bucky smiles.

"That's Wanda by the way," he informs Steve, who nods. The game goes back and forth for a little while; Wanda and Pietro against Bucky and Steve.

Pietro kills Steve's character about ten minutes into the game. "Oh, come on," Steve complains and Bucky nudges him with his shoulder.

"Good try, Stevie."

Bucky and Pietro have an all out war while Wanda and Steve fight. They weren't quite as good as the other two.

Once Steve gets the hang of things, it turns out he is a very loud video gamer.

"Oh, you *ss!" He yells as Pietro kills him for the eighth time. Bucky looks over at him; a little scared, a little impressed.

"Just a game, doll," he assures while Pietro laughs in the background.

"He keeps killing me," Steve complains and fixes his headset again.

"I can kill him for you," Wanda suggests with a grin. Pietro scowls over at her.

"I can handle him," Steve scoffs and Pietro chuckles.

"You get 'em, sweetheart," Bucky encourages with a grin.

Steve works harder at the game and manages to ambush Pietro's character and trap him.

"You gonna kill me, huh?" Pietro taunts, almost yelling into his microphone. "It's on, b****."

"Bring it, *sshole," Steve retorts. Bucky tries not to laugh as he listens to their fight. Wanda was in the same position, her character still on the screen as she shook with silent laughter.

Steve finishes off Pietro's character and Pietro groans loudly.

"No!" He wails and Wanda laughs at him as she wraps an arm around him and hugs him close.

"Oh, finally!" Steve cheers and Bucky grins.

They say their goodbyes as the game draws to a close and Bucky removes his headset while Steve does the same.

"Wow," Bucky laughs as he puts the controllers away. Steve folds his arms across his chest.

"That was actually sort of fun," he admits with a shy smile. Bucky flops down beside him and wraps his arms around his waist.

"You can be scary when you want to be," he comments and Steve blushes and looks down.

"Sorry," he says sheepishly and Bucky smiles.

"S'all good. Kinda cute watching you get all riled up," Bucky grins, looking at him. Steve smiles softly.
