*Sorry it's so short. These chapters are necessary, but for now are just background info. Real action should start REALLY SOON. I'm so sorry. *

(Bucky's POV)

*beginning of 7th grade, Steve skipped a year*

Goddammit Rodgers.

He walks down off his front porch wearing a tan button-up shirt and some grey slacks. His suspenders fall off him, not fitting him properly.

Yet he makes it look amazing. God.

"Long time no see, nice to see you're looking swell." I say with a smirk, throwing my arm around him. He squirms a little and punches my shoulder.

"You were just here yesterday, jerk." He responds while looking me dead in the eye with his bright blue ones. I'd be a liar to say he wasn't downright gorgeous.

"You know, yesterday, like the day before today?"

"Doesn't ring a bell, punk," I punch him in the shoulder, but not to hard. Don't wanna hurt the fella.

"Come on!" He pushed me back a little, "You helped my mom trim her roses!"

"Don't remember it, sorry." I lie. I remember him trying his best to snap of stems, but not having the strength to do it. He still went at it like a champ. His hair shined in the sunlight making it almost painful to look at him. I still did.

"Jamessss," Ms. Rogers yells as she picks me up into a warm hug.

"Good morning Sarah! How are you this fine day! Is that a new dress?"

"Aww, why yes it is James, little Stevie helped pick out the fabric!" She runs her hand through Steve's perfectly styled hair.

"Mom!" His hands shoot up to his head and he immediately starts fixing his hair.

"So, how are those roses doing Ms. Rogers? Was my trimming any help?" I look directly at Steve, who looks back with a glare that I can say makes me a little hard.

I'll explain later.

"Oh they're doing just fine! Oh," She checks her watch, "Its 6:45, you boys got to get to school!" She pushes us onto the sidewalk and we start walking.

The first day of 7th grade went fine, as planned. I kept Steve out of trouble and there were no fights today! Go me!

I walk him home and send him off to his front door. He waves and that's the day.

Well, not the whole day.

I go home thinking about Steve, how he walks. How he knew every answer to the questions the teachers asked. How his hair shimmers in the sunlight. His eyes that pierce any soul with their blue beauty.

God, Buck stop!

Yeah, I know it's wrong.

A guy with another guy. It's wrong. My dad would KILL me.

But I can't help it.

I've liked Steve since I saw him fight Drake in 1st grade. I couldn't even do it and I was a year older than him. Everything about him is so,

Amazing.

I've never thought of a girl like this before. I've never wanted to pick a girl of their feet and kiss them until my mouth was sore. I've never wanted to taste a girl's lips as much as I want to Roger's.

I've never wanted to........

My hands wander down to my belt and I start to fumble with it.

Oh God. Oh God oh God oh God.

I've got to stop it.

I've literally have a disease.

I'm gross.
