One week. Hyujin gave the two challengers a week to practice, to pour out their energies on the gym just to come home a winner.

Yet as the days pass by, Taehyung and Jimin couldn't help but doubt their mate's decisions. None of them wished that something like this would happen- not when they were finally settled with all the issues thrown to their way before.

"Jimin ah, stop crying please?" Yoongi felt his heart clench in pain of seeing his mate crying silently, chest heaving up and down as he tries to get a good hold on their daughter. "B-but this is all too much, I'm scared.." He stutters, hating himself for reacting so late about he situation they were about to face.

"There is nothing to be scared of, okay?" Yoongi sighs, looking up at Jungkook who gave him an assuring nod. "Jungkook and I will do our best. We'll make sure you both are still with us." The word itself sounds promising, even though the alphas couldn't help but to question their own strengths.

Could they do it? Will they win over Hyujin? They could be confident but they were unsure of bragging- it was a rule to never underestimate someone most especially if you know so little about them nor you have experienced combat with them.

Hyujin was still a trueblood alpha, he may be in his early 50's but his body was built buff and by the looks of it, he was still strong like in his younger days.

After a moment of sadness, Jimin finally recovers from his sudden breakdown. "I don't want you to get hurt." He finally spills the reason. It may be a little childish but Jimin doesn't like it when other gets hurt, with his trauma of being beaten by Soyeon before? There was no way he would want Yoongi to be in pain.

"I will be hurt." Yoongi admits, not wanting to lie about the obvious. "But it's all gonna be worth it, I will fight for you and my position as your mate." He presses his forehead against the beta's, closing the gap so they could kiss.

Jimin holds onto Yoongi's assurance. He was right, as he would possible get hurt facing Hyujin- but he wasn't alone right? Jungkook was there and the two would be a good pair to defeat Hyujin once and for all.

Taehyung in the other hand stays quiet, knowing Jungkook wasn't near on the plans of backing out. He looks down to their son Minjun with care and love, a distant thought of their child being taken giving him the feeling of longing and grave despair.

He doesn't know what he would do if their son would be taken away from their care. Minjun was a product of their love- the baby he had been protecting all his life as they struggle past Soyeon's torturous hands.

Taehyung doesn't know what he'll do when that alone was taken from him by someone he barely knows. That someone who challenged his mate to a fight that would put a path to their future.

"Wish me good luck, darling?" He heard his alpha say, hands resting on his curled arms which were holding Minjun securely.

The omega at first did not want to obey his simple request, lips moving though he was unable to say anything at all. Still he had to trust Jungkook for this- he have proven and changed himself for Taehyung, and now he would have to defend his family with a strength of a trueblood.

"Good luck.." It felt heavy to say such motivating words, but Taehyung sealed it with a small smile in order to lessen Jungkook's worry for his honest feelings.

He closes his eyes the moment he felt Jungkook peck his forehead, nose and lips. A sign of respect and comfort, his own way of saying I love you. "We'll come back home as a family, I promise." His gaze falls down to their son who looked so innocent, unable to understand the whole situation.

It was better for Minjun to stay clueless, grow up with peace in his thoughts and to be able to decide his likes and dislikes. "Promise." Taehyung repeats the word, eyes fluttering open again to see Jungkook leaning down to kiss the baby's forehead as well.

The four wolves made their way out of their house, where Hyujin's bodyguards awaits to pick them up.

But there were two cars for a reason. This may be the cause of Jimin's sadness too, as they would have to separate with their mates. Nonetheless, they embraced their fates. It was part of whatever Hyujin was up to, and all they have to do was obey until everything is settled.

The men approaches to separate the mates, leading the alphas to a different car and the same call goes for Taehyung and Jimin.

With heavy hearts and worried minds, the car finally drove out of their lot- heading to the place where the anticipated fight would be held.

•••••

Unsure of their whereabouts, Jimin and Taehyung was the first to arrive at the location. It was a secluded warehouse that didn't look abandoned, which they assume was Hyujin's property.

They were assisted out of the car, though the atmosphere wasn't giving them comfort as Jungkook and Yoongi was nowhere in sight. There were guards in every area of the lot, which doubled the amount of the men that have been with them during the ride.

"Ah, the most treasured wolves of the alphas." Hyujin's voice invaded their ears, appearing from the warehouse's entrance with the same intimidating aura he possessed back when they first met in person. "Welcome, I guess. The two would be taken upstairs with a good view for later." He steps aside to reveal the interior of the large spacious warehouse.

It had no furniture, and simply a plain area which can be good for their fight. There was a stairway however- connected to a room that has a wide glass maybe to give the person inside an opportunity to watch whatever happens downstairs.

Was everything planned? How could Hyujin have this kind of place?

"If my guesses are right, they should be arriving in a few minutes." Hyujin looks down at his wristwatch, checking the current time as the bodyguards approaches.

"Lead them inside, make sure they are comfortable enough and they won't cause troubles." Taehyung swiftly cradled Minjun sideways when Hyujin tried to each for him, returning a glare to the alpha before following Jimin and the guards who were taking them to the room upstairs.

Leaving Hyujin who had an amused smile on his face- a smile that bragged victory among the two challengers.

It did took a few minutes for Jungkook and Yoongi to finally arrive at the warehouse. They weren't really surprised of the chosen place, as they only focused on beating Hyujin and fulfill their promises to their mates.

But no, it wasn't Taehyung nor Jimin that had waited for their arrival. Instead it was Hyujin, who wore a welcoming smile on his face when the car door slides open.

"Finally, my two challengers. Did you train hard? It wouldn't be an easy fight, I bet." He spoke before laughing, crossing his arms as he approaches the two other alphas who stares at him intensely.

"Sure it won't be, but I still bet that we have done enough to prove ourselves." Jungkook was the first to answer, with Yoongi shortly joining his side. "I want to prove you that I deserve to be Jimin's mate."

This, however made Hyujin laugh harder than he already did earlier. It sounded offensive, as if he was belittling Yoongi who looked upset about the reaction he got.

"Oh dear, I guess actions speaks louder than words." Hyujin calms down, returning the stare he was getting from the two. "I wish you both good luck- I just feel like you'll need it." He muttered, entering the warehouse first to be followed by Jungkook and Yoongi who were riled up by Hyujin's mockery.

They spared a little time familiarizing the area, spotting Taehyung and Jimin who were inside the room upstairs, watching every move they take with an unreadable expression. "Hyung, there they are." He whispers, nudhing the other alpha who nodded the moment he sees Jimin who gave him a hesitant wave.

"They'll stay there, somehow far enough not to be a distraction- it would be a disadvantage for the two of you right?" He smirks, noticing their small interaction. "I would want to give consideration as they might be the cause of your defeat."

"You're full of words, dad." Jungkook uses formality with a little care he had. "Didn't you say action speaks louder than words? Well why don't we get it started?" He takes off his jacket, placing it neatly by the bench as Yoongi did the same with the things he found unnecessary.

The two wolves approaches Hyujin who raised an eyebrow, surprised. "Ah! You must be mistaken? Wouldn't that be unfair for me to fight two?" He  points at Jungkook then to Yoongi.

"My playground, my rules." He clears off. "One after another per consequences." His eyes then lands to Yoongi, a smirk rising from the corner of his lips.

"Why don't we  start from you, Yoongi? Let's see if you really deserve my beloved son."
