Happy Halloween, everyone! I am a day late but I hope you will like it~

Taking opportunity to congratulate + credit VKUnknownWOw and DamnObrigado for the costume concept/idea! It was hard for me to choose since the suggestions are extremely cute and good!

Jungkook lets out a sigh, "Darling." He says sternly, though his gaze softens when he sees his mate dressing their son into a hunter costume.

"Yes~?" Taehyung sang, turning to look at Jungkook with a grin on his face. "Awe, you look adorable, darling!"

"What's adorable with me being shirtless and wearing tight jeans?" Jungkook slips out a complaint, whining when the latter laighed at him. "Darling, I'm sure you're missing something to complete my look." He says rather calmly, referring to a shirt as he refuses to go out and celebrate Minjun's first halloween shirtless.

Taehyung pouts, taking a moment to fix Minjun's costume. Since it would be their son's first ever Halloween experience, they would want to push themselves to their limits with giving effort for such a spooky event.

Jungkook was the first to suggest a vampire themed costume for the three of them,  claiming it would be the simpliest look that they could deal with pretty easily. Of course, Taehyung did agree, but it wasn't for long when he realized that they actually had a lot of choices other than just having the concept of vampires.

So, the omega suggests that they follow the theme of the tale; The Red Riding Hood. Jungkook wanted to object, knowing the chances of him ending up as the bad wolf was high.

But how could he, when Taehyung sounded so excited while planning out their characters and outfits? Jungkook was indeed whipped for his mate that he had no choice but to give way for what he wanted.

Even if that meant he would have to play the role as the wolf- literally.

"What do you mean?" Taehyung asks, confused as he approaches the alpha with Minjun in his arms. "I'm sure I didn't miss anything."

He raises an eyebrow, blushing when his gaze falls on Jungkook's well-built abs and chest. "I don't get it." Taehyung stubbornly says, confused.

Jungkook sighs in disbelief, hoping Taehyung was just joking. "Darling, you forgot about my-"

"Oh! I know!" Taehyung gasps, eyes sparkling with happiness and excitement. He carefully transfers Minjun to Jungkook's hold, jogging to their drawers. "How could I forget?! This is part of your costume, after all!"

The alpha couldn't help but roll his eyes playfully, a little relieved that Taehyung would be giving him a decent shirt.

Or maybe not. "Tada!" Taehyung lets out a giggle as he waves the black collar he took from their drawer. "This will complete your bid bad wolf look! Well, it's to show that Riding hood owns you now." Before Jungkook could even protest, Taehyung was already busy with putting the collar on him.

"Tae," Jungkook groans, though he didn't do anything to cancel Taehyung's attempt of adding the collar to his costume. "Come on now, you can't just have me trick or treating out there without a shirt! It's gonna be cold." He tries to raise his concern, even if he knew Taehyung would stick to the plan.

"You won't be cold! You have good and thick wolf fur!" Taehyung playfully argued, admiring the pet collar that hugged Jungkook's neck. “That’s why I chose you as the bad wolf!”

Jungkook pales, “What..?” As if he had gone deaf, the alpha waited for Taehyung to laugh; silently hoping that he didn’t mean it in a literal way. “What do you mean by- my fur?” He says out loud, though his voice was still calm and was just obviously confused. Minjun in the other hand, was smiling at his two bickering parents thinking they were playing around with him.

“Da-Da!” Minjun clasps his small hands together. “Fur!” The toddler lets out a giggle, as if he was proud of himself for saying the word. The sight alone melted both Taehyung and Jungkook’s heart, feeling the urge of protecting their baby from the outside world.

“Yes, our little hunter. Daddy will show you his beautiful fur later. He may be the big bad wolf, but he’s still a good and obedient pup when it comes to me.” Taehyung cooed, acting like he was talking to Minjun though it was directed to Jungkook. “That means he would be our literal big bad wolf for your first Halloween, isn’t that right daddy?”

The alpha looks at him in pure disbelief. There goes his mate again, pulling off an innocent and pleading look after twisting the nickname ‘daddy’ with using another tone that was pretty much more intimate compared to how he first brought up the name.

“Dada- wolf?” Minjun says, repeating the only words he understood from Taehyung who was still feigning an innocent look towards the alpha knowing he wouldn’t be able to resist his charms for long.

“Fine,” Jungkook gave in again, just like how he did back when Taehyung was still suggesting concepts for their Halloween celebration. “Daddy will be the literal wolf.” He pulls Minjun closer to his face, pecking forehead which immediately erased all his hesitations away.

“Yay! Everything’s settled then!” Taehyung cheers, clapping his hands just to show how excited he was for their first trick or treating experience as a family. “Don’t worry, I’m gonna bring a shirt for you.” He then points to the large picnic basket that was on their bed. It was a prop for his Red Riding Hood look, though he chose to use it as a little storage basket for Minjun’s baby bottles and some of their other necessities.

Jungkook pouts, already feeling defeated to complain further since he also agreed with shifting to his wolf form during their trick or treating activity. Taehyung may have found it cute, but he was still trying to be considerate with how or what would his mate feel. “I’m sorry, Kookie. I just wanted this to be a fun concept for the three of us- you could be a hunter instead, if you don’t want to shift.” He spoke with his head hug low. It wasn’t on purpose this time, as he wasn’t the type of person who would guilt-trip someone if their demands were rejected.

“No, no. It’s okay darling. I’m fine with shifting. It’s been a while since I have done it, after all. I’m pretty sure you are anticipating to see my wolf form too.” Jungkook teased, in hopes that his mate would cheer up instead of sulking over the concept he had planned that the alpha was complaining about earlier.

Taehyung looks up, “R-really? You’re fine with going out on your wolf form?” he asks, eyes brimming with tears as if he was in the verge of crying. Jungkook knew that the omega was pretty sensitive, which is why he fell for him even more. He was precious and he deserves to be protected as well.

“Yes. Totally fine as long as you’re gonna be happy. It would be an unforgettable Halloween for our baby too, so we better make his first spooky day experience just as meaningful as how we made him.” Taehyung’s face instantly flushes red, playfully hitting Jungkook’s arm out of embarrassment. “Shut it. Hmph.” He says, wiping his eyes to make sure he does not end up crying over stupid things.

The alpha watches Taehyung fix his red silk cape, which ended on his upper ankles before taking a moment to admire how beautiful the omega was as Red Riding Hood. The male simply wore a white long-sleeve London ruffle blouse, a pair of black slacks and black boots with the matching red hoodie-cape which perfectly gave out the character’s vibes.

“We’re ready to go now~!” Taehyung announced, taking Minjun away from Jungkook’s hold while carrying his basket on his other free hand. "After this, we're gonna have a picnic by the pumpkin field! They give free pumpkins that we could carve on, too."

"-Ump! -Umpkin!" Minjun spoke again, grabby hands reaching up to Taehyung's face- which looked so small as they rest upon the latter's cheeks. "Want!"

"Yes baby, we'll get you a pumpkin later, but you must behave hmm?" Taehyung smiles, nose scrunched as he made silly faces in front of their son who giggled in response.

"You both head downstairs first, I'll shift then we can go for trick or treating." Jungkook says, smiling as he kissed Minjun's forehead and Taehyung's soft lips.

"Mhm, don't stay here for long, okay?" Taehyung says, heading out of their room once he got a nod of assurance from his mate. He heads downstairs, where he saw Jimin and Yoongi arguing.

"Jimin, I don't need make up- oh god," Yoongi lets out a sigh the moment Jimin began to stubbornly apply some blush on his cheeks. "It's gonna be so embarrassing." He mumbles, though he was immediately hit in the arm.

"No it's not gonna be! and besides- our costume is not that bad! It's just that we both agreed with making Sunnie the main focus during the trick or treating." Jimin explains, lips curving down into a frown when he heard his mate complain. "Why, is it that bad?"

Yoongi looks away, too flustered to respond which made him acknowledge Taehyung's presence. "Oh, hey Tae. You look great on your costume!" He greets, with Jimin turning his head to look at Taehyung as well.

"Wah, you're handsome yet so pretty at the same time! How can that even be possible?!" Jimin gasps, proudly admiring his half brother who looked incredibly shy from how overwhelming their compliments were.

"You two look great on your costumes too, what's with the concept?" Taehyung asks, carefully putting Minjun down to the play mat where Minsun was currently playing. She was dressed as Snow White's character, her cute red ribbon headband complimenting the dark shade of her hair and her light skin tone. Minsun's costume however was a little bit more flamboyant than the original, as Jimin wanted to make her look even more cuter.

"It's obvious!" Jimin grins, somehow oblivious to his mate's embarrassed reaction. "Minsun is snow white, and we are the dwarfs!" He introduced, arms extended towards Yoongi as if he was also showcasing the other.

Taehyung bit his lower lip, inhaling sharply as he held back his urge to laugh. There was nothing wrong with their concept- it was cute, however Yoongi's complaints made him want to crack up.

"Yeah, the dwarfs." Yoongi groans, eyes shut as he silently suffers for the sake of his mate's wants.

"What's wrong with being a dwarf?! It's cute, you know!" Jimin exclaimed, fixing Yoongi's hat. "And it fits us well, don't you think?"

Yoongi gave Jimin a funny look. It was obvious that the male didn't like how Jimin decided to dress him as a dwarf, when he wanted to be the prince at the first place.

Still, he loved his mate too much that he wouldn't want him to be sad with one costume complaint. Maybe it was pretty cool to be a dwarf, especially when Jimin wore the same color of his garment claiming they would look like a couple matching together as dwarfs.

"I agree with Minnie, Yoongi hyung." Taehyung says after calming himself down. "You two look good together, especially with Minsun as Snow White." He assures with a kind smile.

"As long as you two are having fun? The costumes won't matter!" Taehyung added, remembering how silly Jungkook was being earlier when he tried to change the latter's mind.

"You've got a point." Yoongi chuckles, finally giving in. "By the way, where's Jungkook? Is he not coming with you?"

Taehyung's smile expands the moment they asked about his mate. "Of course he is. He’s one of the main characters, after all." With that being said, another presence was felt in the living room. The omega gulps back a whimper when he inhaled Jungkook’s scent; a sign that he was nearby.

“Woah.. Is this for real?” Jimin says, surprised to see his other half brother in wolf form. Jungkook rarely shifted- or maybe never, even. Yoongi had the same reaction as his mate, somehow feeling like it was not Jungkook they were looking at.

“Yes, it is for real.” Taehyung grins, releasing happy pheromones upon seeing his mate shift. Jungkook was such a big and beautiful wolf; with midnight black fur that shone as the light directly hits his fur, dark brown eyes that observed everyone that were staring at him; somehow very keen that he could attack somebody at that very moment.

The omega doesn’t hesitate to kneel on the floor, arms wide open as if he was inviting the wolf for a hug. “My alpha is such a good wolf, what did I do to deserve you~!” Taehyung lets out a loud giggle the moment Jungkook’s wolf form ran towards him- instantly knocking him down to the ground completely.

Unlike any other alpha wolf, Jungkook’s height and body size was larger. Maybe he had an advantage as he was a pure breed, nonetheless Taehyung would still find him cute. “Now, calm down!” The omega cried, helplessly as the wolf began to lick his cheek before sniffing down on his neck.

Taehyung sighs the moment Jungkook stopped, his hands lightly scratching the alpha’s ears before running them down to his neck where the collar was. “Hmm, it fits you well.” He praised, making sure it wasn’t too tight before kissing Jungkook’s nose.

The wolf lets out a whine, licking Taehyung’s cheek one last time before moving back. He sat down obediently, tail wagging in excitement as he waited for Taehyung to get up on the ground.

“Da-da!” Minjun hurriedly stood up on his feet, taking large steps towards Taehyung though he stops when he sees Jungkook looking at him in his wolf form. “Da-da??” His tone shifts almost instantly, eyes wide in confusion as he tilts his head to the side. “Da-da?”

Jungkook follows the toddler, tilting his head to the same direction as well as his tail wagged slower; showing that he was being careful and gentle towards Minjun.

“Yes baby, that’s your daddy. Isn’t he a beautiful wolf?” Taehyung says, approaching his son who still had his eyes glued on the wolf, though he didn’t look scared or startled; in fact, he just looked lost. “Go on and pat daddy, he’s not going to hurt you.”

Taehyung proceeds to caress Minjun’s small back, trying to encourage him. Jungkook in the other hand waited, exhaling loudly which made Minjun smile. “Wolf!” He says out loud, but in a more determined way. He takes big steps towards Jungkook, with him looking so vulnerable and small compared to the big figure of the alpha’s wolf form.

Minjun’s eyes sparkles, his small arms raised up in the air as if he was trying to reach for Jungkook’s face. Taehyung watches as his mate leaned down to grant his son’s request, a dumb smile on his face when the alpha decided to lick Minjun’s cheek.

“Da-da wolf!” Minjun laughs, cupping Jungkook’s furry face before pushing himself closer as if he was hugging him. The alpha lets out another noise of happiness, mixing with his dominant pheromones as his tail wags with excitement again. He was happy that their son wasn’t scared of him- at least they wouldn’t to deal with a crying Minjun later.

“Ah, this makes me soft.” Yoongi sighs, shaking his head the moment he sees Minjun hugging the wolf, as if he really knew and believed that it was his dad. “Minjun’s such a kind wolf that even stern looking wolves would look like a plushy for him.” Jimin snorts, carrying Minsun in his arms. The two now looked like they came out from the fairy tale itself, maybe just more beautiful and handsome.

“Alright, enough with the hugs baby. We have to go now.” Taehyung joins the hug for a bit, ruffing Jungkook’s fur before carrying their son who was still clinging to the wolf.

Minjun lets out a whine, before clinging to Taehyung now that his dad was out of his reach. “Umpkin! Candy!” He chanted as they head out of their villa, hugging his plastic pumpkin basket that they would use as the treat storage.

“Twick or treat!!” Exclaimed Minjun as soon as Taehyung rang the door bell. Jungkook sat down, rubbing his head against Taehyung’s hip while waiting for a person to open up for them.

It was already their tenth house, and Minjun’s basket was almost full with different kinds of treats- even small plushy toys just because he was cute and their family concept was on point.

“Oh, what a cute little hunter you are!” The lady says as soon as she opens the door, before turning to look at Taehyung and the wolf that was quietly sitting by his side. “Aren’t you two the famous idols?! My goodness, nice to meet you and your loving son!” She greets, hurriedly grabbing her bowl of sweets and a black bunny plushy.

Taehyung looks at Jungkook, flustered when they were recognized- well, maybe the lady assumed that it was Jungkook that was tagging along with them.

“It’s a treat for you, young man.” She says rather in a sweet way, adding a generous amount of sweets onto his basket. “Take this too.” The lady then gave the bunny plushy- to which Minjun gladly took.

“What will you say, Jun ah?” Taehyung cooed, happy that their son was spoiled especially because it was his first Halloween celebration.

“Thankies!” Minjun squeals, laying his head against Taehyung’s chest. The lady shortly bid her own goodbye, saying how grateful she was to see them in person.

“Looks like our little hunter’s basket is full hmm?” The omega says, letting Jungkook carry the small basket of treats using his mouth. Minjun stays quiet, hugging the bunny plushy tighter as he yawns. “Kookie, I think our baby’s done with trick or treating now.”

The alpha looks up at his mate, eyes glowing through the darkness of the sidewalk as if he was agreeing about what Taehyung said. “Alright, let’s head to the pumpkin fields first before going home.”

The two mates quietly walked down the street, guessing that their son was already fast asleep. Jungkook however, notices a group of guys hiding by the bushes- planning to scare whoever passes by, and unfortunately they were the next victims.

Jungkook would be fine with it- but not when his mate was pretty sensitive these days and that their son was already asleep.

So when they neared the area, Jungkook puts down the candy basket; letting out a scary growl to assert dominance, eyes directly glaring at the bushes. “Jungkook-” Taehyung scolds, though he cuts himself off when he heard noises from the bushes as well.

“Sorry!” One of the guys spoke, obviously intimidated by the wolf’s presence that the whole situation flipped to the opposite. "Damnit, wrong scare.” One of them mutters, which made Taehyung giggle before walking away.

Jungkook follows, not long after he made sure the group wouldn’t plan to chase them off (also not forgetting about Jun’s basket). “You saved us~ A true hero~!” Taehyung cheers, happy that Jungkook didn’t let the guys scare them or else Minjun would wake up from his slumber.

Jungkook exhales sharply, following Taehyung on the way to the pumpkin fields which was through the forest.

"Are you really okay?" Taehyung asks, voice a little hushed as he watches Jungkook prepare their picnic spot.

Following what they promised each other from earlier, Jungkook did shift back to his human form- changing to the extra hunter clothes Taehyung prepared him.

"Why would I not be?" Jungkook chuckles, approaching the male. "Did you enjoy our Halloween celebration?" He asks, leaning down to peck Taehyung's lips before they sat down their picnic mat.

"Mhm! I'm really happy that many liked our costumes!" Taehyung says, smiling as he points at the small pumpkin- with Jungkook silently reaching for it so he could carve in behalf of their sleeping son.

"All because of our son's cuteness." Jungkook chuckles, focusing on the pumpkin while Taehyung watched him closely. "Hm, wonder where he got it from..?" The omega teased, grinning when Jungkook shrugged.

"I wonder too." Jungkook teased, only to laugh when Taehyung wasn't able to hit him this time. "Kidding, darling. Of course he got it from you."

"No, Junnie got it from you." Taehyung shakes his head, though he appreciates the compliment.

"Why is that so?" Jungkook hums, raising an eyebrow though he kept his eyes focused on the pumpkin.

"Because you're a cute wolf-puppy." Taehyung says rather playfully, "My cute alpha pup." He added, craddling Minjun who was snuggling more to feel the omega's warmth.

"A puppy, huh?" Jungkook mocked, sending his mate a playful look before smirking. "Am I?"

Taehyung pursed his lips, intimidated by the alpha for a second though he still chose to be stubborn. "Mhm. Big puppy." He continued, which made Jungkook growl and lean towards him.

The alpha had an eyebrow raised, smirking as he leaned closer that their noses were touching. Taehyung could only give him a smile, before closing the gap to give him a sweet kiss.

"Oh you just wanna kiss me so bad." Taehyung huffs, with Jungkook retreating with a flushed face. "You got me there, darling." He says, trying to focus on carving rather than to escalate the kiss into something more intimate.

"I always do, don't I?" The omega turns back to the pumpkin field, watching other people carve their own pumpkins until his gaze lands on Jimin and Yoongi- who were trying to bring the big pumpkin Minsun was pointing back to their spot. It was a silly sight, and Taehyung was very sure that their son would also pick a big pumpkin if he was awake.

"There's no other way with denying that." Jungkook says, before showing his mate the small pumpkin he finally finished carving.

Taehyung nodded excitedly, taking the pumpkin to his hold before carefully placing it down on Minjun's tummy. The toddler lets out a small baby noise, eyes still closed though he was now holding the pumpkin's little bump on the head.

"Carve me one too." Says the omega, with Jungkook laughing before picking a medium sized pumpkin. "Hm, what's the magic word?" Jungkook asks.

"Please, alpha~?" Taehyung says, purring which made Jungkook blush so hard thst he had to cover his mouth to prevent a gasp.

"J-just please. Please is the magic word." Jungkook says, voice muffled as he was still covering his mouth. Taehyung couldn't help but coo, finding the alpha cute whenever he was shy.

The two spent the next few moments watching everyone do their businesses, enjoying their Halloween celebration together with their family or friends. It was a cold night, with the moon shining up in the night sky along with the stars. Taehyung's felt so happy that he got to spend it with his family; with his loving husband and their firstborn son.

"Jungkookie?" Taehyung finally spoke again, looking over to the alpha who was done with carving the pumpkin he requested earlier. "Yes, darling?" Jungkook replied, scooting closer to his mate so he could cuddle with him.

"I love you." He says with pure sincerity, "You and Minjun." Taehyung sighs, laying his head on the alpha's shoulder as he began to feel a little sleepy.

"I love you two, more and much." Jungkook says, kissing his mate's hair as he inhales his sweet scent.

"Happy Halloween?" Taehyung says, more likely as a question to which Jungkook responded to.

"Happy Halloween, darling." It was a cold night, but they were contented with the warmth they provide for each other.
