☆•Yashimi? POV•☆

The fresh smell of Tonkatsu roams in the air as we continue chewing on the flavorful pork cutlet, filling us with heat radiating from the steam itself.

Beside me is Kanzaki-san and Tsuyuri-san with Kiyo-chan, Sumi-chan, and Naho-chan opposite us as we continue eating.

We all ate in silence as we always did. Kochou-san couldn't make it because of a meeting Oyakata-sama held in the Demon Slayer Corps.

Kanzaki-san is still wearing her usual uniform as if she is gonna clean. Tsuyuri-san and I wore similar clothing. Plain with small designs and are colored white.

I had gone home as Tomioka-sama wanted me to say farewell to everyone before leaving in 2 days and to prepare what I wanted to bring with me.

The sounds of the night after eating had us feel more comfortable with each other as Kiyo-chan, Sumi-chan, and Naho-chan chatted with us on the daily happenings with their day.

And Kanzaki-san complaining about Zenitsu, whoever that is, being too stubborn to take his medicine and that was enough to let Tsuyuri-san chuckle slightly.

This occasion is special for us as we are usually busy with me and Tsuyuri-san away for missions. This is our first time after a month.

Being here with us is rare. Especially for Kochou-san as she is always busy with her missions and her making other concoctions.

But tonight, we'd ignore the fact that she's not here as that is what she would want us to do. Enjoying the tension disappearing and the laughter rising makes me happier.

All of us are a little happier, at least.

The night quickly runs from us as we bid each other good night and sweet dreams. I return my mask on my face. I turn around to the table, seeing Kanzaki-san with her compassionate smile.

"Oh! Kanzaki-san, you should be off to bed, too." My feet begin walking around the chabudai, shortening our distance. "I know you know you have lots of chores tomorrow. A good night's sleep is what you need."

I lift my hands, placing it on her shoulders, and began walking to her room direction. "B-but–" she tries to protest.

"Shh!! It's okay, I can handle this. Please, it is the least I can do after always being gone and busy with Tomioka-sama." I wave my hand before placing it back.

"Consider this as an apology for missing my time bonding with you." I smile as we reach her room. "Now, your bed is calling for you. I think your body would love to sleep in it more early, don't you think so?"

She turns around to face me, letting my hands return to the side of my thighs. "Fine. Just this once!" She opens her door, walking in. "And then I'll take you over. It'll be weird if I let you do the cleaning, but just for tonight. Since you'll be away.." She says.

I can feel her aura getting sad. "But–"

"Don't worry, though, I will visit you guys when I can, but that's enough talking now, Kanzaki-san. Good night, and have a well-deserved rest tonight!" I close the door before she can say anything more.

I walk towards the dining area and to the sink. After putting my gloves on, I start scrubbing the sponge onto the plate.

As I continue cleaning the plates to shiny and squeaky bits, a brilliant hits my head like an arrow.

"An enkai." A curly smile lifts at the side of my lips. "Of course! Everyone is invited. Tomioka-sama, Tanjiro-kun, Kochou-san, and people I'm close with."

I happily finish cleaning, and after putting the plates away, I walk to my room. Hearing nothing but sleeping low snores of the people in this estate.

I open inside my room, seeing Itsukori looking up at me. "There you are, Itsukori." I lift my mask out of my face and place it on the tsukue next to my bedside as I climb on my bed. "Can you deliver something for me, Itsukori." I ask, grabbing a pen and a thin piece of paper.

I start writing as Itsukori flies closer to me, his aura feeling curious. A small smile appears and plasters on my lips. I continue gently brushing the pen against the paper as the room suddenly becomes cold.

Feeling the coldness lightly caressing my cheek and that feeling wavering on my neck and around my body.

★•Giyuu POV•★

"Greetings, Tomioka-sama. I know it is deep late in the night, and I also acknowledge that you are awake from the start. I would love for you to know that I will be holding an Enkai and would love for you to be there since you are important to me. I have asked for Kochou-san's permission for it to be held in the Butterfly Estate, and she said yes happily. It will start at 8:00 am. I hope to see you!
Kashiko, Fujimura Yashimi."

Kanzaburo then flies away after I had received a letter from someone, but I did not expect this someone to be Fujimura.

"Why is this an Enkai? You're not leaving everyone, are you?" I whisper and walk towards my only tansu, swiftly putting the letter in and closing it.

"Okay then, I'll go. For your sake, Fujimura." I say, going to my futon after changing into sleeping clothes.

♣︎•3rd POV•♣︎

A black-haired and blue- eyed woman wakes up to the sounds of birds singing and the leaves dancing. Aoi gets up from her comfortable warm futon and changes into her usual attire.

She quietly opens her door and closes it after her. She walks towards the kitchen, feeling that it's already filled with lively presence.

"Tomioka-sama!" A cheerful voice then laughs with someone.

"What? It's how you would've done." A slight chuckle escapes someone's throat, definitely feeling somewhat relaxed.

"Who's up early?" Aoi cautiously questions to herself as if asking someone else.

She turns the corner towards the kitchen only to see Yashimi in a misty teal kimono with crystal shard design and Giyuu in his usual demon slayer corps uniform.

The scene had made Aoi shock and speechless. "Fujimura-san. Tomioka-sama." She announces her presence, making their laughs disappear and replaced with surprise.

"What so early in the morning are you two making? I'm about to make breakfast." She taunts her way to them, walking around the counter, still with a strict face.

"O-oh! I'm sorry, Aoi-san!" Yashimi immediately put the flour away from her hands, bowing in sorrowful apologies. She then stands straight, meeting Aoi's stern eyes, and makes Yashimi feel small.

"I must've forgotten to tell you, but I am hosting an Enkai. Here in the Butterfly Estate." She explains, feeling the emotion of excitement rise from her.

"I decided that since I am moving to Tomioka-sama's Water Estate, I thought that I should say a little farewell." She clasps her hands in anticipation of Aoi's answer.

"Wait.. really?!" Aoi's voice becomes..

A mix of delight and somewhat betrayal. "I would have loved to help you, Fujimura-san!!" Aoi's voice seems to sulk as she spreads her arms in disbelief.

Yashimi lets out a relieved sigh. Getting Aoi's approval and acceptance had meant something for her.

"Well.. actually, I planned that Tomioka-sama and I would prepare everything while you continue your other chores..?" Yashimi turns to Tomioka-sama, seeing him nod at her, and she looks back at Aoi to meet her midnight blue eyes.

"It will be rude of me to just let you two have fun!" Aoi's lips curl up as she invites herself, and Yashimi greatly accepts her help.

The trio continues to cook their meals for the Enkai preparation. As Yashimi and Aoi would talk about anything and their comments, Giyuu would just stay by Yashimi's side, continuing his part of the plan, slightly wishing that Aoi hadn't woke up.

Tanjirou, Zenitsu, and Inosuke had arrived at the same time Shinobu, Mitsuri, and Obanai had. Seeing Tanjirou there made Obanai confused but reluctant nonetheless.

All wore their demon slayer uniform and were greeted by the warm and excited smiles of Yashimi and Aoi, and in return, both were greeted by the hugs of Tanjirou and Mitsuri.

Aoi had grumbled about Inosuke not wearing something to protect himself from the heat, and that was enough to make them bicker with each other as they all went inside and to the kitchen.

Mitsuri, Inosuke, and Zenitsu cheered as the sight of delicious meals prepared by the two women. Its aroma circled around the lively room.

"Ha! Sakijura makes better food than you, Oi!" Inosuke proudly says, taking a rough seat next to Tanjirou.

"E-ehm.. it's–"

"Hey, Inosuke! Shut up, will you?! These foods were amazingly made by Aoi-san and Fujimura-san, so shut it, you boar!" Zenitsu fumes at him.

"Y-you guys..! We are in the warm Estate of Kochou-san. Let us show our respects, hm?" Tanjirou says, trying to keep them from destroying each other.

"Inosuke! Stop making troubles for everyone! You are such a hassle." Aoi lets out an annoyed sigh.

Kanao, Naho, Kiyo, and Sumi then enter the room. Seeing everyone they become shy. Shinobu notices them and leads them to another seat, which is taken to no one.

"Ah!! Kanao-chan, Naho-chan, Sumi-chan, Kiyo-chan! I'm so glad you three are here." Yashimi says, going over to them, giving them headpats before going back to the counter.

"Ah, yes, of course they are here." Shinobu smiles at them, and the four return it.

"Iguro-san! Don't be so quiet now." Mitsuri says as she takes a seat after Shinobu. "Don't you think it's nice that Fujimura-chan and Aoi-chan had this prepared for us all? They are so nice."

Obanai takes his seat next to Mitsuri, listening intently at her words of expression towards the food handed on the table.

"Kanrouji-san, how were your last few missions?" Shinobu smiles gently at Mitsuri as she turns to look at the royal beauty next to her.

"EEEKKKK, Shinobu-chan is talking to me. She is definitely so pretty." Mitsuri says in her head before telling Shinobu what has happened.

Mitsuri talks to both of them as they look at her in awe. Shinobu smiles at the thought of Mitsuri having fun and her cheery personality still alive.

Whereas Obanai looks at her with nothing in mind but her voice. A voice that feels like an angel's harpy is playing. Calm yet alive.

Tanjirou had finally had Inosuke and Zenitsu calmed down as Giyuu, Yashimi, and Aoi took their seat after both of them, including Aoi, prepared all the foods on the table.

"Kyaaaaa!! These look delicious. Thank you so much for inviting us!" Mitsuri says, smiling widely and showing her gratitude.

"My my, these do look flavorful. Your cooking skills are really recognized, Fujimura-san, and of course, Aoi-chan, too." Shinobu says.

"Did you guys know," Everyone's attention goes to Yashimi, "tha–" A nudge on the elbow cuts her sentence.

"Itadakimasu." Giyuu says, and everyone else follows.

"Itadakimasu!"

"Itadakimasu!!"

Itadakimasu.."

"Itadakimasu."

The table was then placed with everyone chatting and the clasping of chopsticks. As their crows had already been given food from Aoi and Yashimi.

The breakfast Enkai is a success as everyone enjoyed themselves. Whereas Obanai and Giyuu mostly stayed quiet, and Obanai obviously not eating.

After the Enkai, everyone thanked each other for coming by, and Yashimi and Giyuu offered to stay back to clean as Aoi continued with her chores of cleaning around and taking take care of the other patients.

☆•Yashimi POV•☆

"Tomioka-sama." I call out to the jet black haired man beside me, cleaning the dishes. "What is it, Fujimura." He turns to me, meeting my gaze with his sharp, piercing eyes.

"Why did you nudge when you knew I was about to say that you also cooked with us?" I ask with curiosity scrolling through my tone.

"Because Fujimura," we both put away the now squeaky clean plates, "I want that to be more of an 'us only' memory. The two of us, I mean." He says as we both put away our gloves to dry and towards my room.

"Now come on, we will pack your stuff and move to my estate." He says. "The three little butterflies are definitely happy for the scary woman to leave."

"TOMIOKA-SAMA!! That was a while back!!"
