Arshita's Pov

"So we'll take a leave!" I said as I and Shriya were done roaming in the Singhania Associations with Rahul.

He nodded while smiling as he said, "I hope you liked this company tour sponsored by myself Rahul Singhania!" Rahul said and we chuckled.

"You were amazing" Shriya said happily and I looked at her as she added, "I mean the your company is amazing"

"Thank you" Rahul said flashing his big dimple smile at us and we returned it, "May I ask what do you do?" I asked him and he nodded.

"Well I finished my business management studies in abroad and I'll be soon joining the company" Rahul said and I nodded, "That great" I said and he nodded.

"Rahul I'm coming with you! I'm done for the day" Manish said coming from behind and I looked at him as he also looked at us.

"Wow so you're free?" Rahul asked him and Manish nodded, "Then I have a great idea" Rahul said with much enthusiasm and Manish was giving him a look.

"Let's wish that I like this idea" Manish said and but I spoke up before anyone could, "I guess we should leave! It's almost evening" I said but Rahul stopped us.

"Wait wait! This idea includes you two as well" He said and I and Shriya looked at each other confused.

"Really what's that?" Shriya asked him while smiling and he spoke up, "Let's go out for dinner. The four of us!" He said.

"Well I'm tired" I said when at the same time Manish said, "I'm tired yaar"

I looked at Manish and he was ready looking at me when Shriya spoke up, "It's a great idea! Di chalo na yarr you'll feel good" Shriya said and as I was going to protest Rahul again spoke up.

"And you can also discuss more about this deal of yours!" He said and Shriya also added, "Yess you can consider this as a business meeting of you want to"

"Haa and you can have your favourite food also" Rahul said and Shriya nodded, "Yess the weather is also good today" she said and I stopped them because I and Manish had been looking at both of them back and forth.

"Okay okay fine! Let's go" I said and they smiled and turned to Manish for his answer. He looked at both of them and sighed as he said, "There's no use of arguing with you! Let's go!" He said and Rahul patted his back while smiling.

"Good decision!" Rahul said and Manish gave him a look as we all finally came out the of their building.

Rahul and Manish were in their car while I and Shriya were in mine as we decided to head to a famous and beautiful rooftop restaurant which has the best Italian and Chinese cuisine!

"Chia do you know! I feel like you are their old old friend! Like how are you so friendly with them on the first meet?" I asked Shriya while I was driving the cars and she was busy in her phone.

"That's because I have a friendly nature and you don't" She said and I gave her a look, "Excuse me I'm not friendly?" I asked and she nodded her head, "Yup exactly!" she said.

"Why do we need to have dinner with them! The two of us could have gone somewhere!" I said sighing and she gave me a look, "Don't be bore yarr! It's always fun to have some company!" she said and I just shooked my head.

We reached the restaurant after twenty minutes and Shriya got out of the car. I looked around for the parking which was at the back so I turned to her, "You go ahead, I need to park at the back!" I said and she nodded.

"Are you sure?" She asked and I nodded as she went inside the restaurant and I came to parking lot. I parked my car when at the same time Manish parked his car beside mine and we came out.

He looked at me and I looked at him, "Looks like we'll make a couple entry" Manish said smirking at me as Rahul also went inside earlier.

I gave him a look and started walking towards the entrance. Manish walked upto me and matching with my pace and again spoke up, "Should we hold hands? It'll have a good impression!" He said and I stopped and looked at him.

"Did you perhaps left your mind back in the office?" I asked giving him a look and he chuckled, "Maybe! I don't remember" he said and I just sighed as I again started walking.

"Btw I didn't expected you to agree for this dinner date" Manish again spoke up and I gave him 'Are you serious' look.

"First. This is not a date! Second. Are you planning to be extra irritating today?" I asked and he gave me a cheeky smile.

"No! I think you are planning to be extra rude today" Manish said and I ignored him as I walked towards the lift silently and he walked along.

We entered in the lift and he pressed the button for the rooftop! After a minute there was sudden jerk and some weird noises and the next moment the lift stopped!

I and Manish looked at each other dumbfounded and I raised an eyebrow! He just shrugged his shoulders giving an 'I don't even know' gesture.

"Are you serious?" I said in an annoyed tone while looking at him and he gave me a look, "What? Tum toh aise react kr rhi ho jaise maine lift band karayi ho!" He said and I just let out an annoyed breath.

Great! Now I was stuck here in the lift him. Can anything be worse than this?

Manish's pov

I looked at Arshita who stood there with an annoyed look on her face. We were stucked in this elevator and we didn't even knew what to do. And the best part was that we didn't even wanted to talk to each other!

Arshita banged on the door while shouting and I was looking at her, "Is anyone there? We're stucked here! Please help" she was shouting and I sighed as I spoke up, "Your voice won't go out of this elevator!"

She looked at me and gave me a look, "Toh zindagi bhar yahi rehne ka irada hai? Do something" she said and I chuckled.

"How would I know what to do? Mai lifts thk karne wala lagta hu kya?" I said and she turned towards the buttons and started pressing them.

"Ayee what are you doing?" I asked her but she ignored me and kept pressing all the buttons and when she pressed the last button the lights also went off!

"Shitt!" She murmured and turned back to me while I was giving her 'I told you look'

"Sometimes it's better to listen to others also! Now suffer" I said and she let out an irritated sigh.

I turned around to look for anything which could help but there was nothing. I turned back to Arshita and she was standing there with a weird look on her face and her phone's flashlight was straight on her face.

"Aahhh" I shouted and she also shouted at the same time, "Aaahhhh"

She removed the light from her face and looked at me, "You scared me!" I said and she hitted my arm, "Are you mad? Aise kaun cheekhta hai? You scared me too" she said and I started laughing.

"Don't laugh!" she said and I laughed more while she was giving me a look, "You really looked scary!" I said and she ignored me as she sat down on the floor. I smiled and sat beside her.

"Shriya and Rahul must be worried" Arshita said and I looked at her while giggling, "Worried? That idiot must be enjoying food and company, specially when with a girl" I said and she gave me a 'Are you serious' look.

She nodded her head as she said, "I can expect that after all he's your brother"

"Was that a taunt?" I asked and she shrugged her shoulders, "Figure it out yourself!" she said and I just made a face.

We sat there in silence staring at the elevator's door. It was for the first time in these last months that we were together and weren't fighting.

I sighed and turned to her, "Can you talk? I'm getting bored" I said and she spoke up without even looking at me, "Whenever we speak we fight! You remember right" she said and I made a face.

"Then don't!" I said and she looked at me, "What? Talk or fight?" she asked and I gave her a look, "Don't fight!" I said and she just looked back to front silently.

"Do you remember when our friends closed us in a classroom back in the college! When I was beating a guy and you were cheering me to no end!" I said and she made a face as she turned to me.

"Yess and then both of us were suspended for a week just because of you" she said and I frowned, "Excuse me! You were the one who came to me and said 'AYEE GO AND BEAT THE SHIT OUT OF THAT GUY'" I said and she scratched the back of her neck while looking down.

"Yeah well he was annoying! And I said beat him. Not kill him. You were so violent" she said and I laughed and then looked at her, "Well he was annoying you! And I can't let anyone do that to you" I said and she looked at me with a blank look.

We were staring at each other when there was sudden jerk and the light started fluctuating and Arshita grabbed my arm tightly.

"What is happening?" she asked while looking at me, "Don't worry! I think they are fixing it" I said and she nodded while her hands were still grabbing my arm and I let her.

Third Person's Pov

Arshita and Manish were stucked in the elevator for the last fifteen to twenty minutes whereas on the other side Rahul and Shriya were having the time of their lives at the rooftop restaurant enjoying each other's company forgetting their brother and sister.

"I didn't knew you were coming to the company today!" Rahul said raising an eyebrow and Shriya smiled, "I messaged you but you were sleeping!" Shriya said and he nodded.

"Ahh I was seeing you in my dreams!" Rahul said winking at her she chuckled, "Veryy cheesy" Shriya said and he smiled.

"I was really trying to find a way to meet you today! And so I grabbed the chance as soon as I got it" Rahul said taking Shriya's hand in his and she was smiling, "Awww but we just met a day before?" she asked and he shooked his head.

"Yeah but! I miss you the second you leave" Rahul said and she blushed while looking down.

Meanwhile on the other side Arshita and Manish were finally out of the elevator. They stood up as the door opened and came out while Arshita was still holding Manish's arm.

"Are you planning to grab my hand till the night ends?" Manish asked her smirking and she instantly left his hand while making a face.

She looked at the guys in front of them who just fixed the lift and gave them a look, "We're sorry for the inconvenience ma'am and sir!" one of then said.

"Can't you keep 'Not in work' board in front of that lift!" Arshita said and started walking ahead to go up while Manish gave them an embarrassing look, "It's okay! Sorry about her" he said and the boy nodded.

Manish also followed her and they finally came upto the rooftop and looked around to see Rahul and Shriya talking and laughing while enjoying their food.

"Woww! Can you believe this?" Arshita said while looking of both of them and Manish laughed, "Told you" he said and they walked upto the table.

As they reached upto them Rahul and Shriya looked up at them and Rahul choked on his food while Shriya was having a shocked look.

"Where were you two?" Shriya asked them and Arshita gave her cheeky smile, "Nevermind! I think you're enjoying" she said and Shriya just stuck her tongue out while looking down.

"Parking krne gye the ya seekhne?" Rahul asked them and Manish gave him a look while hitting his head, "We got stucked in the elevator you idiot!" Manish said and Rahul nodded.

"Ohh are you both alright?" he asked and they nodded as they finally sat down with them, "Yeah we're fine! But looks like you didn't remembered that you have a brother" Manish said and Rahul looked here and there.

"Yeah you too" Arshita said to shriya and she just focused on her food not looking up.

"Forget it guys! The food is very tasty" Rahul said and Manish just shooked his head as they started eating.

Shriya and Rahul were stealing glances at  each other as Shriya murmured, "Bach gye!" and Rahul nodded with an innocent look on his face.

While Manish and Arshita were looking at each other while eating. Manish couldn't stop thinking about the normal conversation they had back in the elevator without even fighting while Arshita was thinking about how Manish have that same concerned look on his face when he said that he can't let anyone annoy her ever!
