Arshita's Pov

Rahul and Shriya had went up on the stage while we all also gathered up with them almost covering the whole stage.

"Guys engagement meri aur Chia ki hai hum sbki nhi" Rahul said giving us a look when Hardik punched his arm saying, "Toh kya hua, hum log bhi thodi si limelight lena chahte hai"

"Obviously ab Rahul ki pichli shadi me kitne kaand hue the ki Shaadi bichare Manish ko krni padi, ab finally Rahul correct partner ke sath hai! Celebration toh banta hai na" Virat said and everyone laughed while Rahul made a face as Shriya said, "Yeah right! Mujhe toh laga tha Ruhu mera jiju ban hi jaega"

"But I came to the rescue, right!" Manish said and Shriya nodded her head laughingly when I said, "Haa aur rescue ke chakkar me mujhe phasa lia apne sath"

"We all know that underneath you also wanted that to happen" Nikita said and I just gave out a cheeky smile while Manish kept his arm around my shoulders saying, "Exactly, we all know, how much you were dying to leave Rahul and marry me"

"Ohh tabhi toh bina bataye mandap me tum baithe the" I said shaking my head while Manish just gave me a look saying, "Haa mai apne bhai ko Bali me bali chadte hue nhi dekh skta tha na isliye"

"Bhai itna pyaar" Rahul said wiping fake tears and everyone laughed when Shriya said, "Guys aaj ke din toh apni ladai band krdo please"

"Bacho please clear the stage, jinki engagement hai wahi dono nhi dikh rhe hai" Rahul's dad said coming upto us and we all laughed getting down the stage, "Exactly, rings exchange krne ka time ho rha hai!" His mom said and everyone nodded while getting down from the stage while I stayed up holding the plate with their rings in it.

Rahul and Shriya were busy looking at each other as smile wasn't leaving their faces," Guys stand up! It's finally the time, you both can stare at each other later" I said and they both smiled as they stood up and I handed the ring to Rahul who held Shriya's hand and looked in her eyes while she had the biggest grin on her face as she couldn't be more happier than today, finally she was getting the love of her life without anymore problems in their lives.

"I love y—" Rahul was saying as he was about to slide the ring in Shriya's finger when suddenly a girl came up infronf of the stage shouting, "Stop it! You can do that to me, Mr.Rahul Singania! You're a cheater!"

Everyone turned to look at the girl in shock as she was standing there in front of stage looking at Rahul as if he was the biggest criminal in the world, while Rahul looked at her super confused as the girl was one of her old college friends and he had no idea about whatever the hell was she talking.

"What the hell? Who the heck are you?" Shriya asked widening her eyes as she looked at the girl and she spoke up again, "Me? I'm his girlfriend, I love him, Rahul promised me that he would definitely marry me one day! But look at him, he's cheating on me now and marrying you, tumhare innocent hone ka fayda utha rha hai ye, he promised me a lifetime together, and then he's getting engaged without even telling me"

"Ayee what the hell is wrong with you? Why are you saying all this? Chia I swear ye ladki jhoot bol rhi hai, believe me, aisa kuch nhi hai" Rahul said panicking while everyone was still in shock because of this sudden surprise.

"Exactly! Tum mere bhai pe aise ilzaam nhi laga skti, why the hell would we believe you" Manish said coming upto the girl and she started crying as she spoke up again, "I'm telling the truth Manish bhaiya! Rahul ne mujhe dhokha diya hai aur ab is bichari ladki ko bhi de rha hai, please believe me! He's a heartbreaker, agar tum promises nibha nhi skte toh krte kyu ho Ruhu? Tell me?"

"Areyy Yaar what is going on? We were just college friends! Tum ye sb kyu krr rhi ho? What do you even want?" Rahul asked throwing his hands in frustration.

"Ayee hello! Whoever the hell you are, apna drama band kro! We all know Rahul aisa nhi hai, aur tumhare pas kya proof hai that you and Rahul dated?" I said coming upto her while she wiped her tears while saying, "You want proof? I've got it! Look here!" The girl said as she took out her phone and showed everyone the picture and it was Rahul and her as he was giving her a bouquet of flowers, Shriya's eyes widened as tears were starting to fill in her eyes, she believed Rahul, she didn't wanted to doubt him but all the proofs and the girl were making it hard for her.

"Damn Rahul ye toh sach me tu hai, tune hume ek baar batana bhi zarroti nhi smjha? Ki teri koi aur girlfriend bhi hai" Hardik asked and received a glare from everyone.

"Rahul what the hell is going on? Who is she? What is that picture? How do you know her?" Shriya asked getting hyper when his dad also asked, "Yes what the hell is this Rahul? Is she really saying the truth?"

"What the hell Rahul? Maine tumse pehle hi kaha tha, if my daughter gets hurt I won't leave you" Dad said getting up and we all looked at him while Rahul sat down on the couch holding his head in his hands as she said, "Believe me everyone, mujhe nhi pata ye aisa kyuu kr rhi hai! I swear mera iss ladki se koi lena dena nhi hai! This picture is from our college when I was distributing bouquets to everyone on our graduation ceremony, believe me Chia! I would never even think of hurting or cheating you, I love you yaarr"

"I believe you Rahul, I really do! And I know that you would never hurt me, let alone cheat on me" Shriya said holding his hands when I suddenly went and hugged both of them saying, "Awww you guys are so cute! Now look to your left! There's the camera in which you've been recorded getting pranked"

"What the —" Rahul said as he turned to left looking at the camera while everyone else was laughing, except him and Shriya who were shook to the core as everyone except them had known about this prank on them.

"Are you serious? Mujhe almost heart attack aa gya tha" Shriya asked keeping a hand on her heart and I nodded when Shreyas said, "Exactly, aur ye plan socho kiska tha, the one and only your dear big brother"

"I know I'm great" Manish said pulling up his collar while Rahul punched him slightly saying, "Bhai? Great nhi you're evil, aise koi krta hai kya?"

"But seriously tere expression dekhne wale the Rahul, lag rha tha kisi ne tere upar murder ka ilzaam laga diya ho" Hardik said laughing and they all joined while Shriya and Rahul's heart were still beating loudly at this ridiculous prank!

"And I'm so sorry to scare you guys! I just got to know that Rahul was getting engaged when Manish Bhaiya asked me to do this, and I agreed, because you know na Rahul I was majoring in acting" That girl said coming up and Rahul gave us a look, "Yeah right, Acha experience use kiya hai apni acting majors ka"

"Mujhe toh seriously laga ki Rahul ki destiny itni kharab kaise ho skti hai, matlab shadi ke naam pe har baar koi problem" Shriya said laughing and we all did too when mom said, "Okay okay bhut preshan kr liya dono ko! Ab unki rings to exchange krne do"

"Yeah finally, ye ho jaane do phir sbse badla lunga" Rahul said and everyone chuckled as he finally held Shriya's hand and sat down on one knee while everyone hooted, "So Chia! I know that there is still time for the day when we will become husband and wife, but my heart and soul have already committed to being yours for the rest of my life, I love you Shriya Mehrotra!" Rahul said as he finally slid the ring in Shriya's finger who was smiling ear to ear while we all clapped showering flowers on them.

Then I handed the ring to Shriya who took Rahul's hand as she also slid the ring in his finger saying,"I know our journey wasn't perfect, but it's still ours! And I'll stick with you till the end. I love you too Rahul!"

Rahul smiled widely as he kissed her forehead and they both hugged while we all hooted.

Third person's pov

"Okay so guys be ready, because it's the time for the hero and heroine to come and give us a loving and romantic dance performance! So give it up guys, for my best friend and my to be bhabhi" Hardik said getting on the dance floor while everyone cheered for Shriya and Rahul as they both came on the dance floor and the song "Mere sohneya" was played as they both came closer and started dancing to the music!

Manish and Arshita were looking at them while sitting in the front while Arshita had kept her head on his shoulder and they both had big smiles on their faces.

"I can't imagine what would've happened if I and Rahul had actually gotten married!! I was so selfish to say yes back then! I don't even know what was wrong with me! They look so happy right, they must've been so broken all that time" Arshita said and Manish looked at her smiling slightly as he said, "Don't think much about it, it wasn't your fault! You didn't even knew they were dating, aur Shaadi hui toh nhi na, I saved you three and I'll always do so"

"Okay were you comforting me or complimenting yourself?" Arshita asked him raising her head from his shoulder while Manish just gave her a look saying, "I was serious! You never take my words seriously"

"I was joking idiot! I know how much you love us! And I also know that you won't ever let anything bad happen to us, we're lucky to have you in our lives! Thank you for always being there for us" Arshita said and kissed his cheek while Manish smiled widely as he kissed her forehead saying, "You're welcome! And I promise I'll continue to do so"

They both smiled as they looked back towards Shriya and Rahul who were lost in each other while swaying in each other's arms, it was the moment they had always waited for. Since the day they had fell for each other!!

The song ended and everyone hooted for them while Rahul hugged Shriya as she was blushing!

"It's time for our gang guys, come up now" Hardik shouted as all of them went onto the dance floor shouting happily as they all danced together! Everyone was at the peak of happiness and were enjoying the night to the fullest!

Arshita was dancing with everyone when she looked around to realise that Manish was missing, her eyes almost scanned the whole hall but she couldn't spot him anywhere.

"Rahul where did you brother disappeared to?" Arshita asked as she asked Rahul and he shrugged his shoulders saying, "I don't know! But he'll be back, and maybe with a surprise"

"What does that mean?" Arshita asked him when Shriya spoke up, "Agar kuch hoga toh pata lag jaega na di! Itne questions kyu puchti hai?"

"Areyy my hot husband is missing and you guys are talking nonsense!" Arshita said and they both chuckled when suddenly the music went off and the next moment light were out as Rahul pushed Arshita towards the dance floor, it was so dark that she wasn't able to see anything at all.

Arshita stood on the dance floor confused when suddenly a spotlight came upon her surprising her and then another one came on Manish who was walking towards her now from the front.

Arshita looked at him confusedly as she had no idea about whatever was going on, when Manish came and stopped in front of her and forwarded his hand towards her, "May I have this dance wifey?" He asked and Arshita smiled widely as she kept her hand in his and the next moment the song, "Perfect" by Ed Sheeran was played. It was their song! The one that led them to each other on their very first meet.

Manish and Arshita started dancing while their eyes didn't left each other's gaze even for a moment, anyone could tell how much they both were in love with each other just by looking at them, they say your love doesn't decrease by staying away from each other for a long time, but it actually strengths more, it becomes your power and nobody can ever break it.

It was the same for them, even after staying apart for five years from each other. Their feelings for each other hadn't changed even a bit but had actually grown more deeper! And now they couldn't imagine their life without each other.

"You look perfect tonight!" They both murmured the last line together as the song came to an end and then Manish was sitting on one knee in front of Arshita who looked at him widening her eyes as she whispered, "We're married Manu, are you going to propose me again?"

Manish just chuckled slightly while shaking his head in denial as he took her hand and spoke up, "I wanted to tell you something,"We met each other five years ago! We fell in love, we were happy to have each other. We broke up! We parted ways! We stayed apart for years! Our journey of love was hard and not at all a usual one! We couldn't find anyone whom we could love more than we did to each other. We fought for years, we denied our feelings, we pretended to hate each other, but you know what was common things for both of us between all this chaos? Our feelings, our love, our hearts, we never stopped loving each other, we could never throw each other out of our hearts!"

Arshita kept looking at Manish as tears formed in her eyes while she still had a small smile on her face,"It's like the world, our stars, our destiny had planned it all beforehand, that no matter what happens, Arshita and Manish are meant for each other and will find their way back to each other" Manish said and Arshita couldn't stop her tears anymore as he added, "And as for now, remember you said we didn't had a normal wedding or we didn't even got engaged! We'll do it now, right here"

"Will you help me grant this wish of yours? Because I want you to be stuck with me forever" Manish asked as he pulled out a small box from his pocket and opened it in front of her with the engagement rings while Arshita couldn't even utter a word as she nodded her head smiling widely as she also sat down on her knees and hugged Manish tightly.

Everyone hooted from the back as they both hugged, Manish smiled as he kissed her forehead and Arshita looked at him and spoke up, "Ofcourse I'll help you! You know when we broke up, I never thought that I would even meet you again let alone, fall for you again, but I did and I'm glad about it"

"I know I made a lot of mistakes in this relationship, I failed your feelings many times, I blamed you countless times, I hated you for no reason, but you! You never stopped loving me even after all that, you kept believing in us and finally won us! Because in the end all that matters is that we're here, together! And I'm the happiest girl in the world because you treat me the way every girl ever dreams to be treated!!" Arshita and Manish pushed some strands of her hair behind her ears while wiping her tears as she added,"And as for now, I would love to get engaged to you because I'm happy to be STUCK WITH YOU forever"

They both smiled widely while looking in each other's eyes as Manish finally took out the ring and slid it into Arshita's finger while everyone clapped and hooted for them, as Arshita also took the ring and slid it into his ring finger and they both hugged, knowing that this was gonna be forever! They were stuck with each other till the end and nothing in the world could ever separate them.

The day they both parted ways, maybe they weren't sure that they will come along once again because they were that someone in each other's life who are incomplete without the other one, someone who understands that you get jealous and anxious. Someone who know the fears you have rooted deep in your past and holds you when you're feelings scared. Someone who can't dance but dances with you anyway. They'll love any gift you give even when it's the wrong size and they'll love anything you cook for them even when it's burnt. They'll make you laugh when you cry and know exactly what to say to make you smile. They'll leave you feeling helplessly unapologetically happy as you fall asleep at night. You'll wonder how you ever got so lucky. So just be patient, because someone like that will come over and will be stuck with you!!
