Manish's pov

After we were finished with our honey-moon date, it was already the time to sleep and I was actually tired because I hadn't even rested since we had landed here as I was busy preparing for this date because Arshita didn't wanted to go out.

We came back inside the room and Arshita still had been sneezing since earlier so I asked if she needed any medicine but she denied! I know how much she hates them!

"Where are you going?" Arshita asked me as I was going to sleep and I looked at her confused as I said, "To sleep!"

"I mean where are you going to sleep?" She asked me folding her arms and I looked at the bed and then at her when she said, "You thought I would let you sleep with me if we're on the honeymoon? Nice! But no, take the couch"

"I didn't knew you could be so evil, I even prepared such a cute dinner for you and ye sila diya tune mere pyaar ka?" I asked her making a sad face while she just gave me a look, "So do you want me, the sick person to sleep on the couch?" She asked me making a puppy face and I just sighed while shaking my head as I said, "Go ahead, sick person! Go on and take the bed"

"You didn't had a choice anyway" Arshita said smiling cheekily and I just made a face, I took the pillow and duvet as I walked upto the couch and layed down.

After sometime when I was sleeping peacefully suddenly someone patted my arm, I just moved to the other side sleepily and them my arm was jerked to no end until I finally woke up.

"MANISH! Get up" Arshita said shaking my arm and I sighed as I got up rubbing my eyes and looked at her when she sneezed just in front of my face, I glared at her and she just murmured a sorry.

"What? Why did you wake me up in the middle of the night?" I asked her sleepily and she made a sad face as she sat beside me on the couch and I looked at her as she spoke up, "I can't sleep because of this cold! It's too irritating"

I looked at her and immediately raised my hand upto her face as I checked her forehead and cheeks to see if she had fever and fortunately she didn't.

"That's a relief! So what should we do about your cold, you need to take medicine Arshu! I'll go and ask at the reception" I said as I was getting up but she held my arm again as she said, "I don't want to, isn't there any other way?"

"What way? —wait! I have an idea" I said and she looked at me as I walked upto the small fridge which was beside the table and opened it as I took out a bottle and showed it to her smiling, so she asked giving me the weirdest look, "Whiskey?"

"Yess! It's the best way. It'll make you feel your insides warmer and you'll feel much better" I said and she was still giving me the weird and an unconvinced look, so I just sighed as I picked up two glasses from the table and sat beside her pouring the whiskey in both the glasses.

"Are you out of your mind?" She asked me still staring at me as if I was mad or something, so I just passed the glass towards her asking, "Do you want to take the medicine then?"

She just looked at me for a moment as she finally took the glass from my hand and took a sip of the whiskey and I smiled saying, "Trust me. You'll be super fine by tomorrow"

Arshita just made faces as she drank the whole glass in one go and I looked at her amused as I said, "Not bad!"

I also picked up my glass as I gulped it down and then filled our glasses again, after sometime when Arshita had drank almost five glasses one after another I smiled while looking at her as she sat there innocently and I fortunately didn't drank after the second glass because one of us had to be in senses.

"Ahh it finally feels good!" Arshita said shaking her head as she was going to pick up the bottle straight now but I stopped her immediately holding her hand and kept the bottle away as I said, "That's enough, you don't need more?"

"First you told me to drink it and now you're stopping me" Arshita said making a sad pouty face and I couldn't help but smile as I turned to her and sat face to face taking her hands in mine.

"Do I look funny? Why are you smiling?" She asked me looking up and I chuckled while tucking her hair back which were coming onto her face and them nodded my head saying, "Now it's okay, you looked scary with your hair like that"

She just made a face and hitted me with a pillow, I laughed as I held the pillow and pulled her close as she was also holding onto it, "Mai ek secret batau?" Arshita asked me almost whispering and I nodded my head smiling as she came more close and whispered, "I know! I know ki ye honeymoon ka plan tumhara tha, aur ye sb tickets, Switzerland, sb kuch tumne kiya hai but Rahul ka naam laga diya"

I looked at her in shock as soon as she told me that, she knew all this time while I thought she didn't! Wait! Then why did she came with me? She should've denied it? She didn't wanted to come here but came because Rahul gave those to us. That's what I thought!

"Really? How do you know that?" I asked her and she smiled widely as she came closer and whispered on my ear, "I heard your and Rahul's conversation! You are so dumb"

"Wow and I thought that you were dumb and didn't knew anything, while I was the one being unknown" I said and she laughed when the next moment she kissed my cheek and I looked at her in shock, "Ofcourse, you've always been dumb! But I still chose you" She said and I couldn't be happier or thankful more for this situation when she was ready to keep her heart out and say everything.

"Yeah yeah I'm lucky that you chose me back then and that's the reason I chose you during the wedding, because I didn't wanted to lose someone who chose me!" I said and she smiled widely as she came close and kept her head on my shoulder while I slowly patted her head as she said,"Me too! I never want to lose you, again"

"Btw agar tumhe pata tha ki ye sb maine plan kiya hai, toh tumne mana kyu nhi kiya? I really can't understand" I asked after a moment because I wasn't able to think of any reason for this, no matter how much I think about it. Even if she didn't hated or didn't wanted to lose me, just like she said, but I know that she still had some grudges about five years ago as we never cleared anything after that day, when we had parted our ways.

"Tell me?" I asked again as she hadn't answered my question yet, so I looked at her face and she was sleeping soundly on my shoulder.

I smiled as I slowly moved away holding her head so that she doesn't wake up, as I picked her up bridal style and layed her on the bed. I smiled as I caressed her hair and then kissed her forehead while murmuring, "I'll never let you go, again"

Arshita's Pov

I opened my eyes and the next moment my hands went upto my head as it was throbbing with pain, I looked around the room when the door opened and Manish came in with a glass in his hand as he gave it to me and sat in front of me.

"No need to thank me, I know you probably want to bang you head somewhere right now" Manish said and I gave him a look as I took a sip of lemon water and said, "Of course kyuki last night kisine whiskey jo pila di"

"I asked you to take it as a medicine! Kisne kaha tha 5 glass pee jao?" He said while I just made a face while drinking my lemon water.

"But see, you don't seem to have a cold now" He said again as he got up and I just nodded my head saying, "Yes doctor! Btw why are you so ready? Are you going somewhere?"

"Not only me but you too! Ab yaha aaye hai toh ghumne toh jaege hi na. I don't want any excuses, just get ready fast" He said and I gave him a look saying, "I just got better from a cold and you want to go out!"

"I'll take care of you my wifey! Now get ready" He said and I just gave him a look, "How many times did I told you not to call me like that? It sounds creepy!" I said and he just laughed as I finally went to get ready.

As after sometime we reached 'The Vals' I couldn't help but look around amusingly as everything was just so beautiful and mesmerizing as people were skiing around amazingly, well that looked difficult.

"I'm not doing that" I said the next moment and Manish turned to me with a weird look as he asked, "Are you serious? You were all confident until you entered and now it's all vanished"

"Well I didn't knew skiing is so difficult, look at them. They all look so experienced" I said looking here and there while Manish just shooked his head as he grabbed my arm and started dragging me while saying, "I don't know! We're already here and we're doing this, that's it"

"Areyy but—" I was saying and he just ignored me as he went and bought the skiing boots and poles while I just stood there looking at him, so he said, "Don't be scared, you'll just break you face and some bones at the worst"

"Were you just trying to comfort me?" I asked him making a face and he laughed as he was ready wearing his boots and came upto me, "I'll never ever let you fall, even if I have to get my bones broken for that" He whispered in my ear while coming close and I looked at him dumbfounded as he just winked at me and handed me the equipments to get ready.

I finally wore the jacket boots and took the poles as I walked upto Manish and and he smiled at me while he started skiing and he was pretty good at it. I looked at him for a moment and started trying slowly as I started moving forward.

"How are people doing it so easily?" I murmured while Manish just came to my side and gave me a look while saying, "You're so bad at this Arshu"

"I never said I was good, it was your idea to come here" I said making a face and he just chuckled while going forward once again as I kept on struggling with the poles and the skates.

After sometime as I was finally getting the hold of it and Manish was giving me impressive looks I tried to raise my speed a bit as I moved the poles a bit fastly and ended up with a great speed which I couldn't control while Manish was looking at me with wide eyes as I was going straight in his direction and before he could react or do anything else I bumped straight into him as we both fell down on the ice while I was on top of him and luckily didn't break any bones.

"Oww my back" Manish shouted as I was holding onto him tightly as we were laying there on the ice, "Who told you come so fast?" he asked and I just looked at him as I said, "Sorry I was just trying!"

"Trying to really break my bones?" he asked me and I just made a face as I was going to get up from him when he suddenly turned and around and now he was on top of me, I looked at him dumbfounded as he slowly removed the hair strands from my face and smiled as he said,"Btw you looked really cute while struggling to ski"

"Obviously you would have fun watching me struggle, get away!" I said looking away from him as he was really close right now, Manish just chuckled as he stopped me once again from getting up and I looked at him, "I want to ask you something, answer it honestly" he said and I just kept looking at his face as he asked, "Last night tumne kaha tha ki tumhe pata tha ki ye honeymoon maine plan kiya hai, so if your knew why did you agreed to come?"

I looked here and there because I myself didn't had an answer to that but because of some reason I just wanted to be with him and spend all the time with him, "Uhhh... I... Really? Did I said that? I don't actually remember because I drank so much you know. I must've talked just anything" I said slowly even though I remembered everything that happened last night, but just didn't wanted to admit it because I always do one or other embarrassing thing whenever I'm drunk.

"Liar! I know for sure that you never forget anything after drinking" Manish said and I looked at him as he asked again, slowly this time, "Please tell me, I really want to know the reason, I don't want to be confused and get my hopes up over just nothing"

"Maybe because.... I've ... I've decided to stick to Love this time! Hate is too great of a burden! So maybe... I'm just trying... You know" I said not quite looking at him and the next moment he kissed my forehead and I looked at him widening my eyes as he smiled widely saying, "I know! Trust me love is far much better of an option"
