Manish's pov

Next morning I was woken up because of someone pressing the bell on our room's door again and again and as I opened it, a waiter stood there while smiling at me.

"Sir your car has been repaired and we found this phone in there too!" He said and I sighed in relief while I was still half in sleep as I said, "Thank you so much"

The waiter nodded while he gave me a silly smile and I looked at him while rubbing my eyes as I asked, "Want to say something else?"

"I hope you enjoyed your honeymoon night in this best honeymoon suite room sir" He said excitedly and I gave him a deadly glare while saying, "Why do you look so happy about it? And we aren't even married or even close to being friends! Honeymoon!!!"

The waiter gave me a horrified look as he asked, "But... The receptionist said that...." He was saying when I interrupted him saying, "Yeah yeah, but surprise! Now leave us alone" I said and closed the door while snatching Arshita's phone and car's key from his hand.

I turned around as my eyes landed on Arshita who was sleeping peacefully on the bed while I couldn't get even an hour of comfortable sleep on that idiotic couch!

"Honeymoon? What a joke!" I murmured as I walked towards the bed and sat beside her as I l looked at her while recalling our last night's conversation as we had decided to not bother each other anymore about our pasts and just try to be like normal people around each other.

But was is that easy?

I agreed to it, I didn't had a choice! But what do I do about these unsettled feelings of mine?

Arshita moved a little as she slowly opened her eyes and looked directly at me, "What were you doing?" She asked confused as I was sitting just on her side beside her.

"I.. I was just going to wake you up, we need to leave!" I said looking here and there as I immediately got up from the bed and she just yawned while stretching her arms over her head.

"Gift for you" I said showing her phone which she had left in the car yesterday and she smiled widely while taking as she said, "Finally! My love"

"Love? Seriously?" I said sarcastically and she gave me a glare, "Are you done? I can't take taunts first thing in the morning" She said and I just shooked my head as she got up and went to upto the washroom.

Finally after half an hour both of us came down while we were standing near the reception to check out of the hotel. The same receptionist from last night came and smiled at me widely as she looked at both of us and then asked, "I hope you were able to make up with you wi—" she was going to say when I suddenly interrupted her saying, "Yeah yeah! We loved our stay in the hotel, thank you so much" I said handing her the room keys and immediately paying up as we both made our way out of the hotel while all this Arshita had been giving weird looks to the receptionist.

"Don't you think she's been hitting on you since last night? She did some weird actions last night too" She asked while we walked upto the car which was luckily repaired now and sat inside.

"No I don't think so! Why? Are you jealous?" I asked while smirking as I turned to her and suddenly came close as I pulled her side's seat belt from behind and locked it while she just stared at me.

I tried not to laugh at her face as I was so close to her but then finally backed off as I buckled in my seat belt too when she finally spoke up "Ohh please! Not even in your dreams"

"Yeah yeah I remember your angry looks whenever Dia used to come around me back then" I said and the next moment wanted to slap myself for mentioning that girl as Arshita's expressions changed just in that moment.

She looked at me for a moment silently and while I didn't knew what to do next, I just turned on the ignition and started driving.

"I'm sorry" I said after almost ten minutes of silence as she had been looking out of the window all this time and I wasn't able to take it anymore.

"Why?" she asked turning to me with a blank face and I didn't had an answer to that, "I guess I shouldn't have bought her up!" I said after a moment and she sighed as she again looked out of the window while saying, "And I guess you're the only that she was always bought up"

I looked at her for a second as I turned my eyes back to the front and after that we didn't said anything. And that's how we are supposed be, I think. We can't be normal even if we don't fight because somethings always hurt even if they aren't said out loud!

We reached back the hotel after almost two hours of drive with both of us being silent. As soon as we entered the hotel we were bombarded with many questions like they were waiting for us only.

"Are you guys fine?" Rahul asked.
"You didn't faced any problems right?" Virat asked.
"Did you guys stopped fighting?" Shriya asked.
"You guys didn't got eaten by animals?" Hardik asked.
"Did you guys talked about something?" Nikita asked.

While I and Arshita just looked at them and then at each other as they weren't ready to stop.

"Shut up guys! Stop! We're not kids, we know how to take care of ourselves. Tum log ke jaise nhi jo bhul jate hai ki unke sath do log aur bhi the" I said looking at all of them and they just stood there giving silly looks.

"Seriously! How could you guys?" Arshita said as she shooked her head and started heading inside but suddenly stopped as someone came from behind and kept his hands on her eyes asking to recognize him.

We all turned in their direction while Arshita stood there confused while touching his hands, trying to know who it was. I walked a little further and my hands turned into fists as soon as I saw that person.

"I don't know! Just tell me" Arshita said removing his hands from her eyes and turned to look at him, a big smile made its way to her faces as soon as she saw him while he also smiled at her.

"Arush?" She said happily as he nodded his head and smiled while saying, "Yeah, Arush! How are you Arshu?" He asked while giving her a side hug and stood there trying to control my burning anger.

"I'm fine, it's been so long since I met you! Like five years? Where the hell were you?" Arshita asked him and he just shrugged his shoulders while smiling as he said, "Business! I was setting up out company in London but then I heard about you getting married, so I had to come"

I took a deep breathe trying not to beat the shit out of that man as I turned to look at Rahul who was looking at them with a confused look, "Ayee your fiancee is being giggly and happy with someone else in front of you, why don't you stop her?" I asked him while gritting my teeth and he looked at me giving a confused look.

"Who is he? Do you know him?" Rahul asked me and I sighed while looking at Nikita and Ahana as they had the same look on their face, "Just.. Someone"

"I've seen him in office sometimes too, he is di's good friend I guess! But why do you look so bothered by him?" Shriya asked me but I just couldn't tell them the whole story so I just looked at Rahul giving out a glare.

"Rahul tu jaata hai ya nhi? I'm going to take some rest" I said and walked back to my room after looking at them for one last time.

Arush is back! Whyy? What does he need now? Wasn't it enough five years ago? He is one of the biggest reasons of me and Arshita being like this today but she just can't see it!

"This is shit!" I said throwing away a pillow as I layed on the bed thinking about whatever had happened because of that guy, which I could never forget! I just want to beat him every single time he comes in front of me.

Third person's pov

It was almost the time for sangeet and Arshita was getting ready while Shriya was sitting there deep in her thoughts, as she knew that even after planning so much nothing had changed between Arshita and Manish, and this was the last day before the wedding while they didn't had any other ideas.

Arshita was almost ready when she turned and found Shriya lost in her own world, "Ayee what are you thinking being all lost?" Arshita asked while shaking her shoulder as her trance broke and she spoke up subconsciously, "Nothing, bs aise hi kal teri shaadi ho jaegi and you'll leave us soo.. Just like that" she said covering and Arshita giggled as she asked, "Hmm are you going to miss me that much?"

"Noo! I'm happy ki ghar me kitni shanti ho jaegi, atleast no one will shout at me 24/7" Shriya said giving her a cheeky smile and Arshita just made a face making her chuckle.

"Acha can I ask you one thing?" Shriya asked as she stood up from the bed and Arshita said, "Mana krungi toh nhi puchegi kya?"

"Puchungi! So tell me, why did you agreed to this marriage? Do you really love Rahul?" Shriya asked her with a serious expression and Arshita turned to her as she fell silent for a moment.

"Love? Do you remember what I told you? For what I see, love always comes with betrayal and relationships! So I had stopped believing in this philosophy a long time ago" Arshita said and Shriya kept looking at her as she again asked, "And can you tell me who made you stop believing in that?"

Arshita took a deep breathe as she looked down as she didn't wanted to recall all those moments once again specially today!

"Just someone! Leave its, not important. I just think that after living with someone for a long time people just form a sort comfortable relationship and I guess that's what going to happen to me and Rahul too!" Arshita said and Shriya nodded her head as she again asked,"Fine. But remember you told me that 'everyone is not the one you want', so what if you get the one you want?"

Arshita looked at her for a moment in confusion and then asked, "What are you talking about? I can't understand anything"

Shriya just sighed as she shooked her head in denial and sat back on the bed when suddenly she received a text from Rahul.

"Come and meet me right now, I have one last idea" He said and she immediately got up going to out of the room not before saying, "I'll be back, neeche jaldi aana please"

Arshita just looked at her weirdly as she went out, when the next moment Nikita and Ahana came inside the room.

"Someone's looking beautiful! Ms. Bride are you sure you want to do this?" Nikita asked her and Arshita gave her a look when Ahana also asked, "Yeah, are you really sure? After all it's a commitment for life"

"What is wrong with you guys? Sb aise questions kyuu puch rhe hai mujhse?" Arshita asked giving out a confused look while the two of them just shrugged their shoulders, "Nothing, just like that! Should we head down?" Nikita said and Arshita nodded her head as the three of them went down to the hall which was decorated beautifully for the sangeet and everyone was present there.

Meanwhile on the other side in the garden Shriya came upto Rahul who was waiting to tell her the plan he had thought of when she finally came.

"Whoa you're looking gorgeous babyy" Rahul said as soon as he saw her and Shriya smiled while saying, "Thanks! You look great too. Now tell me what is it?"

"Look how desperate you are! Not even complementing me nicely" Rahul said and she gave him a look, "Yes I'm desperate because me my boyfriend is going to get married to my sister tomorrow" She said and he gave her a silly smile saying, "Okay okay calm down, so this could be a bit difficult but this could be the only way to stop all this"

"What?" Shriya asked curiously and Rahul spoke up, "We have to convince Manish bhai and make him realize that he still loves her. And we're going to talk to him today after sangeet"

"And why do you think he'll understand us after all these years?" Shriya asked him and Rahul sighed, "Because I can through him, he's having a really hard time trying to cope up with his feelings and I'm sure that if you love someone, even after being away for years doesn't change your feelings, they actually become more deep" He said and Shriya gave him a soothing smile as she said, "That's absolutely true, philosopher Rahul! And now I just hope that he listens to us"

They both nod as Rahul smiled and hugged. After that they finally came back to the hall where everyone else was and saw Manish with a glass of whiskey in his hand at the bar while his eyes were fixed on Arshita who was talking to Arush smilingly.

"He's jealous!" Shriya blurted out and Rahul nodded as she smiled while saying, "There! We got a sign too"

"Mujhe lagta hai Manish bhai ki personal dushmani hai! He gets angry just by looking at him" Rahul said and Shriya nodded when Nikita spoke up behind, "You guys are right, Manish can even kill him if he gets the chance"

"Really? You guys must know their story" Shriya asked her and she nodded as Ahana said, "Just know that he's another one of the reasons for them to be like this! He kind of had a thing for Arshita back then"

"Guys gossip baad me krna I have to start the anchoring" Hardik said coming from behind and received a glare from them, "Rahul vo seat dekh rha hai stage pe, vo tere aur Arshu ke liye hi hai! Waha Jake baith" Hardik said pushing him and Rahul just made faces as he took Arshita with her not before giving some weird looks to Arush!

"Ladies and Gentlemen! I'm Hardik, the handsome anchor for tonight as it's my best friend's sangeet, I can't even believe that this idiot is getting married tomorrow. You came first bro, I'll have to find someone soon" Hardik said and everyone chuckled.

"Okay let's get started with this beautiful night with the performance a cute couple, saying this only for the performance" He said making everyone laugh while he added "so guys let's cheer up from Virat bhai and our Ahana bhabhi"

Virat and Ahana came up on the stage while giving glared to Hardik who just smiled cheekily as they took their position and their song started, "Enna sona!"

They both danced while looking in each other's eyes forgetting everything around them, they looked perfect with each other. The song ended but they were busy staring in each other's eyes with their joined foreheads when Hardik came from behind and pulled Virat back by his coat!

"Performance is finished guys! Come out come out" He said and Virat just punched his arm, "Well tareef toh banti hai, you guys really looked cute together" Hardik said and they both smiled.

"Thank you, we already know that!" Ahana said happily and everyone chuckled when Hardik spoke up, "Okay fine! Go back now as it's time to call another self obsessed couple who are just like each other in every aspect. Let's cheer up for Nikita and Shreyas guys!"

"Everyone knows who's more self obsessed Harry" Shreyas said giving him a look and Hardik just shrugged his shoulders as he went away smilingly and their song started, "Pal pal dil ke pas"

Both of them started swaying with the music lost in each other's arms enjoying their new formed relationship, while the smiles weren't ready to leave their faces. The song ended and everyone cheered for them while Nikita hid her face in Shreyas' chest blushing!

"Awww that was a very sweet performance guys, so now stop being so cliché" Hardik said and they got separated from each other while giving him a look, "You don't have someone to be cliché with so let us be" Nikita said and he frowned, "Yeah yeah! Don't underestimate me, mere peeche ladkiyo ki line lagi hai" Hardik said and they laughed as they finally went down the stage.

"Okayy so now it's time for a really special performance, the two most important persons for today I want you two to join me on the stage. Ms. Bride and Mr. Groom may you please?" Hardik said looking towards Arshita and Rahul while they both were hesitating a bit, but then finally walked down upto the dance floor.

"So I know you didn't got the time to do any practice, toh tum log bura dance bhi kroge toh chalega. As you both are the stars for today so go on" Hardik said and everyone giggled while he went away and Rahul and Arshita turned to each other nervously as the lights went dim and a spotlight came upon both of them as the song, "Tera hoke rahoon" started playing.

The song started while Rahul slowly took her hand in his and kept other on her waist while Arshita just kept looking down as she went really nervous over dancing with him when she had only danced with one man years ago and still couldn't forget the feeling.

They were dancing while looking away from each other's eyes and not to close whereas on the other side Manish and Shriya who were sitting together on the table were not able to look at the person they love dancing with someone else.

Manish's hands turned into fists as he wanted to be in the place of Rahul so much right now which even he didn't knew! He was restless while Shriya was no less hurt seeing them like this so she just sighed while looking away from them.

The song ended and everyone cheered from them while Arshita and Rahul just looked here and there when Hardik came back on the dance floor.

"That was beautiful, romantic and very very sweet! Thank you guys for this wonderful performance, as now I would like to call our Groom's brother on the stage, Manish?" Hardik said and Manish looked at him in confusion and just said while looking away, "I don't have a partner"

"Will you dance with me?" Shriya asked him as she was sitting beside him and Manish looked at him while Arshita and Rahul's eyes went wide on this.

Manish looked at Shriya and then Arshita while a smirk came upto his face as he immediately stood up stretching out his hand towards Shriya as he said, "Sure, let's go"

Shriya smiled as she took his hand and they both walked upto the dance floor, "Great we have bride's sister and groom's brother so i'll choose a song for you guys, so set the stage on fire okay!" Hardik said as he walked back while Arshita and Rahul walked back to the stage and sat down still not fine with the idea of them dancing together.

The song "Dil chori" started playing while Shriya and Manish started dancing enjoying each other's company while smiling widely. Everyone was cheering for them when they both came and Manish dragged Arshita to the dance floor and Shriya did the same with Rahul, everyone else joined them too.

"Were you jealous?" Shriya asked Rahul while dancing and he gave her a look while saying, "Ofcourse what was that?"

"Now you know how I felt when you danced with Arshu" Shriya said shrugging her shoulders ang Rahul just frowned.

While on the other side Manish was looking at Arshita who dancing with Ahana and Nikita but they intentionally pushed her slowly as get back straight up bumped into Manish.

Manish's hands went to her waist to balance her and she turned around as they both looked at each other and were really close. Manish had a serious look on his face as he wasn't able to hide his emotions anymore as tomorrow was going to be the day, he looses her totally! And that scared him!

Arshita looked at his face with a blank look when suddenly Manish walked out of the hall leaving her while she stood there looking at his back.

Manish was sitting in his room as the sangeet was finally over now while he was lost deep in his thoughts, when Shriya and Rahul knocked on his room's door.

Manish looked up to see both of them standing there and asked, "What are you two doing here?"

"We want to talk to you about something?" Rahul said as they both came in and stood in front of him while Manish looked at them confused as he asked, "What is it?"

"Actually..... The thing is.... We know what happened between you and Arshu di five years ago" Shriya said slowly and Manish looked at her in shock for a moment and then asked, "Did she told you?"

"Nope! We just happened to know, we heard you guys fighting after that mehndi function and soo..." Shriya explained and Manish just sighed while running a hand through his hair as he asked, "And? Now what?"

"Now what? Bhai you still love her!" Rahul said sitting in front of Manish pressuring on the love way too much and Manish gave him a blank look, "Who said that? Did I? How can you be so sure?"

"You didn't said anything but I can see bhai, the way you look at her everytime! The way you smile when she smiles, the way you look after fighting with her, do you think I don't know you?" Rahul said and Manish closed his eyes while taking a deep breathe as he said,"That's rubbish Rahul, it's been five years and now there's nothing between us, I changed and she did too! We aren't idiot college students anymore Rahul! So stop this and focus on your wedding"

"That's the reason we're here! He can't do this, we need your help!" Shriya said and Manish looked at her confused and asked, "Help? What help?"

"We want you to stop this wedding because....." she was saying and Manish kept looking at her as he asked, "because?"

"Because we love each other!" Rahul said while Manish looked at him in disbelief and the at Shriya who nodded her head, his eyes went wide and he couldn't think of anything else as he asked, "What the.... Are you guys serious?"

Rahul nodded his head as he spoke up slowly, "Yeah we really love each other, it's been six months since we're dating and before I could anyone about it, thus happened"

"Then you should've told me before everything got fixed! You have your fucking wedding tomorrow Rahul, ate you out of your mind?" Manish asked raising his voice a bit and Rahul just looked down.

"I'm sorry bhai, everything just happened so fast and I..." Rahul was saying when Manish shooked his head and got up from the bed while going out as he said, "I'm sorry guys, you both created this mess and I'm not getting into it. Get married, run away, do whatever you want, I can't help you guys!"

"And what about di?" Shriya asked as Manish was going out but stopped as he looked back over his shoulder with a blank look, "I don't love her, just get that in your minds" he told himself more that to them as he himself wasn't sure of this question!
