Sarah's POV

Laying on that couch was like laying on a bed on nail. I still managed to fall asleep somehow don't ask me how though. Morning was coming and I could hear the boys upstairs getting ready for the day. Huh and I thought that girls got up early.

"Morning Sarah!" Peter voice startles me.

"Ahahah! Don't do that! I swear that's a good way to get knocked on your butt!" I yell to him as I try to clam my heart beat.

"Sorry, what you gonna make for breakfast?" Peter asks me.

"Oh so I amt he personal chef now? I made dinner you guys do breakfast." I say taking the blanket Micky gave me and covering back up.

I hear three more sets of foot steps coming down the stairs. Anna jumps up and somehow finds the bathroom. Of course she leaves me out here with them alone. All the sudden someone take the blanket from me. Oh they are so going to regret that. I turn and look at Micky, Mike and Davy looking down at me.

"Oh now you've done it." Peter calls out to them.

Standing up to the three of them I make sure to stand tall just as Anna comes out of the bathroom. Lucky for Davy she pulls him out of the way.

"What is it with you people?! Can't I get a little sleep around here?!" I ask them as Micky and Mike actually look a little afraid of me.

"Well didn't you sleep last night?" Mike asks me.

"Barely is the a bed of nails?" I ask then go to look but stop and look back to Micky and Mike. "Nevermind, I don't want to know."

All the sudden there was a knock on the door. Good greif is everyone in the time period a morning person? Micky opens the door and there stands the landlord. Oh great now what.

"I'm kicking you out, my lawyer will be here with the papers soon and there's nothing you can do about it." the landlord tells us then walks out of the place.

"Great now what are we going to do?" Davy asks walking our way.

"Well they'll be looking for the Monkees but the Monkees won't be here." Mike answers with a sly smile.

After getting changed into their disguises I just roll my eyes at them. Mike looks like an old man while I have no idea what the others are even trying to be. Then there is another knock at the door. I walk over to the door and am about to open it when I look back to them.

"There is no way this is going to work." I tell them as I open the door and an older gentleman walks inside.

"Forgive me miss but are the Monkees here?" the older man asks me.

"Uh nope haven't even heard of the Monkees." I answer with a shrug.

"Oh do forgive me, when you do see the Monkees please tell them that they were left an inheritance and I need to speak with them for it is rather urgent." the man tells me.

"Inheritance!" all four of them say at once then quickly get dressed back to their normal selves.

"We're the Monkees we were just playing a trick on the girls you know how it is." Micky tells the man.

The man looks over at me and Anna with an odd look. Hey I didn't believe their disguises for a minute but this guy I think he might need glasses. Still he keeps looking at me and it's starting to make me angry.

"Hey pal take a picture it'll last longer." Mike says coming to my side.

"Oh is she your wife, if so their is a clause in the will for that as well." the man tells us.

Before I have a chance to say no Mike puts his hand over my mouth and I look at him shocked. This jerk is really going to use me and say I am him wife isn't he?

"Yep, Newlyweds. We just decided to bite the bullet." Mike answers with a smile and hugs me close to him.

I roll my eyes since I can't talk at the moment. The man hands Micky a piece of paper and tells him the address we need to be at later on today. After that the man tips his hat and makes his exit. Then I bite Mike's finger as hard as I can.

"Hey now! What was that for?!" Mike asks pulling his hand away.

"Consider that my answer to your proposal Mr. Nesmith." I say as I walk over to the sink and rinse my mouth out.

"Oh come on Sarah, it'll be enough for rent and who would know the difference?" Mike asks as he walks up to me.

"Everyone in this room, I mean we don't exactly act like a couple Mike." I tell him as I turn to face him and lean back against the sink.

"You could act, I mean this would help us out a lot Sarah. We need you." Micky tells me as he walks up to us.

"Why can't you just pretend that Anna is married to Davy?" I ask but when I look over I see Anna has moved on to Peter.

Wow she is faster at moving on than anyone I have ever know. In this time or our own. Still I shrugged as I looked back to Micky and Mike.

"Alright fine, but I am still doing this under protest. Who in their right mind would do this?" I question.

"You are." Peter answers.

"Isn't that dumb?" Micky says as I walk to the couch and sit back down.

After a while we turn up at the mansion. Yeah this doesn't have any creepy factors about it at all. Ha! Walking inside we are now in a large foyer and some creepy butler comes up to us then leads us into the library.

"Ah the newly married couple." an older woman comes forward holding a crystal ball. "I can see you two are very much in love."

Looking to Mike I really want to roll my eyes. Lady you are totally wrong. Not that I can say that out loud right now so I just nod as I lean against Mike putting my hand on his chest. Hey I saw that in a movie somewhere. Mike smiles and kisses my head.

"I am sure your baby will be beautiful as well. Clever of you to start a family early." the woman says as she sits down in her chair.

Everyone from our group looks at me and I shrug. If I am pregnant with Mikes child I have no idea how! This lady is just nuts I swear it! The Butler introduces us to an author and the late owner of the houses niece. Davy and her are of course love struck. Oh brother here we go again.

The recorder in the room starts to play the late owners will. Apparently since Mike was "married" now they got the piano and 500.00 which back then was a lot of money. Still something seemed off about the house. Just as we were about the leave the butler stopped us.

"You shall have to spend the night." the Butler informs us.

"Of course we do. What else could go wrong?" I say as I look at my new gang.

That's when Mike and I get a room of our own. I jinx myself I swear I really do. Looking to Mike I see him change into his PJ's then look at me. I didn't have anything so I grabbed Mike's shirt and changed into it. Slipping into the bed beside him it felt really odd. I tried to drift off to sleep but I was freezing and started to shake.

"You cold? Come on get over here and use body heat." Mike says as his arm goes around me and pulls me closer to him.

I am only doing this for warmth I keep telling myself but even I don't believe me. Being this close to a male was still off for me. I hadn't been with a guy in a long time and now I was with a guy from the past. Wow this isn't weird at all. All the sudden we heard a gun shot. We both jumped out of bed and ran into the hall to be met with the guys and Anna.

"You heard that too right?" Anna asks me.

"Yeah but I wonder? Who died?" Mike answers.
