Arrival

Hey guys I'm really sorry for not updating either of my stories I've been really busy doing stuff around the house this summer and I've been doing a bunch of traveling. Sadly, I wasn't in the TARDIS. I've barley had time for reading/commenting on stories, let alone writing two with super sad plots in play. And I know that the chapter is really short but it's 2:15 or so in the morning and this is the best I can do for now. I hope that that things will smoothen out and that I'll be able to have more time to write because I love you people and it makes me really sad that I'm disappointing you guys every day because I didn't update. (At least I hope it's disappointing, that means you like it.) Also, I'm extremely grateful for each and every read I've gotten on both of my stories. Words can't even begin to give enough thank you's. I hope you enjoy this sucky chapter!!

Rebecca's POV:

After countless stops and many more trips to the bathroom, we arrived in London. There was a person holding a sign up with my name on it. Mac and I went over.

"Hello. I'm Mr. Roland, I'll be escorting you two to your hotel. It's nice to meet you." He said, putting his hand out to shake ours.

"Let's go get your bags." He said. He started to walk, and we followed him.

"He seems pretty formal." Mac whispered to me.

"Bit too formal don't you think?" I said to her.

"A bit." She agreed. We nearly bumped into him because we weren't paying attention. We backed up. He turned around with our bags.

"Let's go!" He said in a cheery tone.

"Thank you sir but I'd like to haul my own bag." I said to him, snagging my bag. Mac did the same. He looked a bit surprised, but he went with it. We left the airport and got into a black Chevy Impala.

"My mum has a white one of these. Same year too." I said, putting my bag at my feet.

"Does she now?" Mr. Roland said in a cheery tone as he pulled into the traffic.

"Yours is in better condition, but my mums car is for a family of four, parents not included. It's a bit one the beaten up side." I said, feeling as if I needed to shut up from talking so much. But he didn't seem upset about it, he actually laughed a little bit.

"I bet that with four people-parents not included-any car would get pretty beaten up." Mac and I laughed a bit. The rest of the trip was pretty quiet, but we got updates on how far away from the hotel we were. After about half an hour, we showed up to the hotel. Mac and I jumped out to get our suitcases before Mr. Roland could even put the keys in his pocket.

" I'm supposed to get your things." He said, attempting to grab our suitcases for us. I sighed.

"Well, if it means that much to you." I said, letting him get my suitcase. He wheeled it into the hotel lobby with Mac and I following him. He pulled out a card and showed it to the lady at the front desk.

"Oh, how lovely! Let's get you two to your room, shall we, you must be exhausted after your long trip." She said, getting up. She had beautiful black hair, which went down to the bottom of her shoulder blades. She wore a good looking outfit of jeans and a t-shirt, my usual outfit. She had a white complexion with freckles dancing across her face. Her eyes were a beautiful green, an eye color that I would kill to have.

"Thank you." Mac and I said at the same time. She walked down the hall, and into an elevator. The ride was over almost as soon as it has begun, and when the doors opened we stepped out. She showed us to our room, room 24 on floor 3. Mr. Roland left after he had put our suitcases where we wanted them. Of course, we took the elevator due to my lungs.

"So, how exited are you for tomorrow?" Asked Mac as I sat down on my bed. A grin settled across my face.

"Let's just say I'm about as exited as the Doctor was when Rose said she'd stay with him forever." I said with difficulty due to my gigantic grin. Mac got up from her bed and sat down on mine next to me.

"They really are exited to meet you." She said, flinging her arm across my shoulders in a friendly way. I yawned. Mac got up off of my bed and crawled into hers.

"We should get some sleep. We're meeting up with the boys at 2:30 tomorrow afternoon and I want to look like I didn't just crawled out of a trashcan." I laughed at her remark as I got into my bed. We didn't even bother to take off clothes and get into jim-jam's or take of our trainers. We didn't even brush our teeth, let alone hair. The flights were exhausting for both of us and we were completely done. I put my cannula in and turned off the lamp.

"Goodnight Mac, I'll see you tomorrow. Wake me up after your shower please." I heard her laugh.

"Okay Becca. Get some good sleep, tomorrow's a big day. Sleep well." She said. I closed my eyes and drifted off to sleep, thinking about how glorious the next day was going to be.
