No. 10: Hitting it off
Austin and I have come to clear terms with one thing. He's going on a date and I'm going to find myself some good fuck. I hate to admit it, but the fact I am going on a date has done magic to my crotch. My libido has finally returned and to my relief, I have jerked off under the shower for three times. I would do it some more, but a lady is somewhere out there waiting for me to please her and I'm not looking forward to disappointing her.
To my second surprise, I've somehow turned into a woman. I've left a shower over half an hour ago and here I am, still standing in front of my closet full of clothes, realising I have nothing to wear. The manly part of my brain interfered and I have quickly picked out a shirt and pants.
I am cleanly shaved, dressed in random clothes that make me look like a model and have hair properly messed just fort he aesthetics. I look myself in the mirror from different angles to see if I maybe missed a spot with a razor, then smile at myself and say "She stands no chance with you."
My phone rings violently and a small part of me hopes maybe Patty decided she's been acting stupid and has decided to call me back and apologize for being such a bitch. When I see it's Austin, I know I am disappointed, but also full of expectations.
"Where are you, man?" he says immediately when I pick up the phone.
I roll my eyes, grateful this is only a phone call and he can't see me "Had to get ready."
"I'm waiting for you in the garage. Be quick." he hangs up and I can't help but to grimace at my phone.
I take my jacket, leave and lock the apartment, then make my way down to the garage with an elevator. Before I get there, I think about Austin's anxious voice and it makes me wonder is he anxious because he's bringing me and his date might like me more than him, or he's really in love this woman of his and wants this date to be successful. On the other hand, it could be both.
Doors of the elevator open and air, that's been almost fully replaced by fumes, hits me. I remind myself this is a garage, then make a note I should get out of here as soon as possible. I quickly scan the place and see Austin standing there, leaning on his silver Chevrolet.
"About time!" he exclaims when he sees me and smiles. "Good to see you," he says and we share that brief manly hug that says no homo.
I smile widely "Good to see you too." I look at his car and nod in its direction "You intend on giving me a ride?"
He looks at his Chevrolet and then at me "Would you like me to?" He wiggles with his brows at me and laughs loudly at my disgusted face expression that says I'll need to throw up if he'll continue with this eyebrow dance. He pats me on the shoulder "I don't know what your intentions are. Maybe you'll hit it off with the girl." He wiggles his eyebrows at me again.
"Now, that wiggle I approve." I laugh and press the button on my car keys to unlock my baby. Beeping can be heard from behind me and I glance in the direction of my red Alfa Romeo, model Giulia.
Austin climbs in his Chevrolet, rolls down his window once he starts the car and says "Drive behind me."
Before I can say that I will or that I don't want to or whatever I could say to him, he drives away and stops the car in front of the ramp, waiting for me to get there in my own car. I take a stroll around the garage and finally reach my red stallion. My fingertips caress the cold metal that hides a beast underneath and I climb in as well. The smell of leather is all around the place and this just might be the only place where I wouldn't want to have sex, but I believe after some debate and negotiations, I'd give in.
I start the car, drive around until I stop it behind silver Chevrolet before me. The ramp lifts and I follow Austin's car around the city. There are so many red lights, I nearly lose my shit, but eventually, Austin leads me to a parking lot and we park our cars.
I get out, looking at the street and wondering where the hell are we. "Austin, you sure this is the place?"
He nods and replies confidently "Yeah."
"Dude, this is a dance school. What did you have in mind to do on this date?" I ask, looking at him kind of worried. I like dancing, but... I dance with women in my or their apartment where the bedroom is close. Here, the only thing that would give us some privacy would be my Alpha Romeo.
Austin laughs and shakes his head as if I'm dumber than I look. And just for the record, I don't look dumb. "There's a restaurant nearby. Once we'll meet with girls, we'll go there."
That is relieving and Austin and I leave the parking lot, then wait in front of the dance school, since this is our meeting place apparently.
As we wait, because girls will be girls, we talk a bit. To my misfortune, Austin asks what I've been dying to forget whole day, whole four months. "Patty still hasn't called you?"
I sigh and try to hide my irritation "No. Doubt she will."
He shakes his head again, slower this time and stares down at the sidewalk for some time "And Daniel doesn't mind it? That she's taken the role of a commander? I mean, Aidan is his son as well, he could stand up a little. Is he, what, scared of her?"
I snort at what he says, recalling what it was like to be with Patty. You never really had the role of a commander, even in bed. "It looks so." I chuckle silently.
"Looks? Thoughts you two were close." he jokes around. I like Austin's jokes about having brothers and sisters. He comes from a huge family of six children. I don't know what their parents have been thinking, but Austin loves to make cute remarks about family and relationships exactly because of it.
I put my hands in my pockets and smile at him "Yeah, well, we're kind of forbidden to speak as well."
Austin glares at me for a while, not exactly comprehending what I have just said "Forbidden? You mean, because of Patty?" I nod slowly and he still can't take only that for an answer "You sure Danny isn't just... using this situation to get it back at you for screwing his girlfriend?"
I roll my eyes. If I got a penny for every time I heard that very same sentence, I could buy my own planet by now. "I was with Pats before Daniel got involved. When they started dating, we have been apart for some while." I sigh, looking down. "Besides, Daniel and I now accepted our roles of Romeo and Juliet."
"Romeo and Juliet?" Austin chuckles and when I hear his laugh I realise how stupid and wrong that have sounded.
"We have secret phone calls and secret meetings," I explain, though what Austin has said about Daniel using the situation, I can't say I haven't thought of it multiple times during these four months. But if I know at least 20% of my brother, then I know he's only caught himself in the trap and now Patty and I are fighting for his opinion and word.
Austin widens his eyes and whistles momentarily "No offence, but... That's sick."
I laugh and nod in agreement "That's what I've been thinking for the past four months." Before he gets a chance to ask me more about this unfortunate situation I am currently in, I switch the subject to something he would never be able to resist "So, you know I'm always there for you and I'd never thought anyone would ever get me to go on some kind of date, but... Since this is actually happening, you might as well tell me more about the girls, or you know, the girl."
His mouth spreads into a wide grin and I am nearly terrified of the man I see before me. Austin really did fall in love while I have been busy dealing with things. "Nate, she's... Oh man, she really is something!" He sighs heavily and looks up at the sky as he does it "I don't mean that in a sexy way, but... When she called me a few days back and asked if we could meet, I could really imagine myself just abandoning this lifestyle. I know what I've told you before about settling down, but I don't think I believed in it as much as I believe in it now."
I nod slowly, shaken up by his... unusual confession. But hey, he's my friend, so I'm the only one allowed to judge him properly. To be honest, my judging expertise failed me. Austin's been acting kind of like a fog, just moving around, never really up for anything, then apparently he met this girl and now he's full of energy. I can't exactly argue with that. "Okay, but how did you two meet?"
"Wow, man, you make it sound as if I told you about some random hooker." He fails at acting offended. His happiness hits him like a truck and there's that grin again "It was a month ago. We nearly see each other every day. You'll say this is cliche, but we go to the same coffee shop together. She always has her head stuck in her laptop, furiously typing something. I've seen her a few times before you were promoted and I thought she looked nice, you know. Then destiny reached out and introduced us. She was pissed at something and wanted another cup of coffee immediately and she'd have to have it even if that included murdering people. So, she didn't care about the line in the coffee shop and just stepped in front of me. I was the next in line. However, after some argument, I decided to play the smooth card and bought her her dear coffee. In an exchange, I got to talk to her."
Where's the nearest toilet, 'cause I need to throw up? "You really pulled that out of some Cinderella story," I say, cringing so painfully, my face muscles sooner or later fail me and adjust my face back to normal. Yep, that bad.
"Her name's Caitlin," he says, smiling again. He looks around and before he gets to say anything else, his face brightens up even more if that's possible "There they are."
I glance his way and I am... surprised would be an understatement. What I see before me aren't two pretty girls, but two grown-up women who know how to dress. I look at both of them and one strikes me as the cold one who takes no shit from anyone and likes to see people kneeling before her, while the other one has that permanent small nervous smile on her lips, making her cheeks look bubbly and lovely. For a soulless girl, she's definitely beautiful. I've never fucked a ginger. Not to mention she is young. Young just to fit my taste. But knowing Austin who has a thing for cute women, I am more than aware who is my date.
"Hi." says the one whom I've marked as cold and hearing her voice makes a shiver run down my spine. God... I'll have to spend the whole evening pretending to like her just to take her home later? I'd rather not...
Austin smiles "Hi."
Bubbly one keeps quiet, not saying much and she is obviously nervous. Well, Austin just found himself a girl that likes him as well. How nice.
"Who's the friend?" Ice asks, looking my way.
Austin jumps forward immediately, rushing to introduce me "That's Nathan. We work together and we've been friends since college."
"Nice meeting you," she says and shakes my hand confidently. Now, I like when women are confident, but I don't like the particularly egotistical ones.
I nod "Nice to meet you as well." I try to impress her with a wide smile, before she looks back at Austin and nearly jumps him, kissing him deeply and wildly. I can actually see their tongues. I stare at it in disbelief, then look at the bubbly one in the background who looks as uncomfortable as we are both feeling. That's when it strikes me, the cute one is actually my date. I let Austin and, I assume Caitlin, do their thing and I step forward to the girl standing behind the scenes "I'm... Nathan." I say and for some reason, my performance isn't as dashing as it usually is.
Her cheeks fill up as she smiles widely, shaking my hand "Annabelle." Her palm is soft and gentle. From her grip, I see she tries to appear tough but is failing at it. "Pleasure meeting you."
I smile widely and I thank everyone who made her be my date and not Caitlin "Pleasure's all mine."
I see a blush creep over her face, her cheeks flush red beneath her freckles and I admit to myself I find it quite adorable. The two in the back finally stop mating and Austin appears to have entered paradise. Poor guy.
"So, will we go to the restaurant or what?" Caitlin says and I look at Annabelle who shrugs and nods at the same time. Cute.
Austin is nearly thrown out of his shoes, already blaming himself for not going there immediately after they have stopped kissing "Yeah, of course. Silly me. Let's go."
We walk there in silence, well I do. Annabelle and I don't talk at all, while Austin is busy telling Caitlin about his new position as an engineer. I have plenty of remarks, such as 'Yeah and I'm his boss' but I let him enjoy his moment. Besides, this date is for him to look perfect, not for me. Caitlin is impressed by his speech, but I am more than busy by looking at Annabelle's outfit.
She's wearing a dark purple dress that reaches the spot right above her knees, appears slightly frilly in that classical way and nicely tightens around her hips and beneath her breasts. Her patent-leather shoes are black and make her legs looks longer and slimmer. What I'm most happy about is her hair. She has the shade of red hair that really makes you appreciate gingers and if I didn't know better, I'd say those curls are natural.
She looks at me after she gets sick of the feeling of being watched and puts a strand of her hair behind her ear "Is something wrong?" She asks gently.
"No, not at all." I smile a little "I just like your outfit." and the moment I say this, I want to slap myself. Really, Nate? Her outfit is what you like? You'd have sex with that girl because she's hot as hell.
She still seems to appreciate the compliment "Oh, thank you."
Austin then notifies us we've reached the restaurant. Just by looking at it, I know I'll like eating here. Some restaurants just have that nice and magnetic vibe. This one is one of those.
Girls are the first to enter and for a moment, I hold Austin back to tell him how happy I am for going out "Man, I owe you a big one." I check out Annabelle's behind and lift a brow in an impressed way "You really are a true friend."
He laughs, but doesn't say anything else, except to the waiter who's standing at the entrance "Reservation for Patterson."
"Very good, sir. Now, if you'll just follow me." The waiter smiles cheekily because we're very most likely to leave a couple of hundred dollars here. He takes us to our table, which is almost in the middle of a restaurant "I'll get you your menus."
I move a chair for Annabelle to sit down and she is flattered. I see how she looks at Caitlin when I do the gesture. Austin and I sit together with girls on the opposite sites, 'cause that's some kind of a rule, I guess. We order food, Annabelle orders something with seafood while I am perfectly happy with some sweet lamb. I don't pay attention to what Austin and Caitlin order. The waiter then serves us wine and by tasting it, I know this is one very expensive restaurant. The wine is great.
At first, it's just Austin and Caitlin who do the talking. Caitlin tells about her business, how she'd like to open a restaurant like that and all about her huge ambitions about turning it into a chain of overpriced restaurants around the country and if possible around the globe, similar to McDonald's only to serve food of high quality. Austin is most intrigued by her storytelling and is very supportive. On some occasions, he even offers himself to help her out with things, like finding her a good place to start. When we get food, the conversation doesn't die down. When Austin speaks, he tells some stories about college but leaves out the details of me bringing home different girls every day. Caitlin laughs, while Annabelle doesn't, she seems to be too busy with her food. Once she puts her hunger to rest and can enjoy the rest of the meal by eating it slowly, she engages in the conversation as well. She mostly talks about Caitlin and her accomplishments which aren't that... special, should I say.
"You're very quiet," Annabelle says and it's a second later I realise she's said that to me.
I smile and shrug "I've got nothing to add. Besides, I like to listen." -how girls scream my name during their orgasm.
Caitlin makes her entrance again, but this time she doesn't speak about herself "You know, Annabelle is a ballet teacher."
I look at Caitlin, then at the girl in front of me, shying away a little "Is that true?" I ask, already imagining what she can do with her legs, besides just spreading them.
She shrugs and bites her lip "Yeah, it's true." She smiles apologetically, not at Austin, but at me "I just had the last group right before our date. That's why we were a little late, I had to change my clothes."
My smile fades, but not in a bad way. I am kind of flattered. "Well, we can leave out the small details, can't we?"
Caitlin smiles and looks at Annabelle who flushes, looking at me all the time "I suppose we can."
This date night turns out to be nicer than I've ever imagined. Austin and Caitlin do strike me as a weird couple. She's very dominating, causing Austin to behave like a puppy. I've never seen him like this, but they both appear to agree with how things are between them. I don't cooperate in conversation much, Annabelle, however, does say a thing or two, but prefers to sip on her wine.
"And what do you do?" Caitlin asks while cutting a piece of her dinner.
I glance at Austin, who visibly starts sweating and I feel bad momentarily. I decide for a neutral answer that gives her an idea of what I do, but still keeps enough in the secret, so Austin can shine. "Austin and I work together in the engineering department."
My friend relaxes and looks at Caitlin, who simply nods, then asks Austin a bunch of other things not connected to my answer at all. At first, I don't get it, but of course, she asked me that so Annabelle would get her answer.
We finish our main dish and Austin has had too much wine, for he starts insisting we all pick a dessert as well. I never fight a good cake after a delicious lamb like I've just had, but this restaurant's one meal goes beyond our paychecks together.
We get our chosen desserts and when I take one bite, my tongue explodes of the amazingness that is that very cake. "Oh my god." I say and take another fork full of it "This is too good to be true." I stuff myself some more with it until there's almost nothing left of my cake.
Caitlin is more or less just horrified with my reaction and Austin tries his best not to support me in this, because of his grumpy date "I've had better." She says and shrugs.
"A cake like that? I doubt it." I scoff and take the last few bites that are left. Annabelle is smiling small-like and seems to like my reaction. It certainly was an honest one. I lean forward, to speak as if I don't want Caitlin and Austin to hear anything "You think they have a to-go policy here?"
Caitlin rolls her eyes, while Austin seems kind of embarrassed, but I don't know is it because of me or her. Annabelle, on the other hand, she starts giggling loudly, barely containing herself, so her giggling still remains polite. I smile at her response and in this whole evening, I've been the only one who made her laugh out loud.
Once she stops laughing, she looks at me in an almost challenging kind of way "Maybe you should ask."
I furrow my brows a little "Hm, should I?"
"If it's as good as you say it is, why not?" She leans back in her chair, looking all cute cute with some colour in her cheeks of all that laughter.
"Yeah, it is that good, trust me, I'm honest, but... Don't you think I'd look kind of pathetic, just taking a stroll to the waiter and asking if I could get that cake to take home?" I keep my eyes on her, always smiling small-like.
She shrugs, looking around the place for an answer, then shoots her glare at me "Now that you put it that way, you would."
"Unless-" I exclaim, leaning forward.
She does the same way, putting her elbows on the table and pushing her chair closer to the table, so she can hear me for I start whispering "Unless?"
"Unless you go with me and I will gain respect from all those waiters." I put forward, tilting my head slightly to the side.
She furrows brows in confusion, pressing her lips together as well and I am pleasantly surprised how she can be so ordinary and still look so sweet "How would that gain respect? I hope you don't intend on forcing me to show them my boobs."
I can't help, but to chuckle. It literally escapes me and her jokes make me close my eyes in the process as well. When I look at her, I have to smile widely again. "Well-" I chuckle once more, "I'd be the gentleman, doing his best to keep his girlfriend happy."
Annabelle blushes and her tone changes a little "Girlfriend?"
"Yeah." -for one night, that is.
"You convinced me." she giggles again, winking at me and the sight of it causes something in me that goes down directly to my crotch. Hot damn.
I smile at her and I lean against my chair as well to catch my breath. She definitely knows how to talk to a guy and turn him on. I look at Austin and Caitlin who do their best not to look interested in us with Annabelle. It's in that moment, I remember not hearing Caitlin's or Austin's voice or y'know their conversation, while Annabelle and I were having our moment.
Caitlin is the first one to break the silence "I think this has been a lovely evening. I hope I wasn't the only one who enjoyed it." As she says it, she looks around at every one of us.
Austin grins widely, like a puppy again "I did as well. It was so great to see you on such an occasion." Caitlin doesn't seem to mind his flattery, I think she's even enjoying it.
Annabelle's and my eyes meet and she says "How about you? Did you enjoy it?"
I give her my half-smile and nod at her "Yeah. A lot, actually." It really turned out better than I have suspected, but not good enough to make me become dating material, that's for sure.
"Well, I enjoyed it very much." When she says it, her eyes soften and she bites her lip. For some reason that makes me believe the evening is not over yet, at least not for us.
***
I couldn't let Austin pay for everything. We did a fair share. He paid for Caitlin and himself and I paid for Annabeth and myself. We were all happy, ladies were impressed and I was hard. What else could I wish for?
We walk back to the parking lot behind the dance school when Caitlin asks Annabelle "Annie, we can both sleep at our parents' house tonight to save the money."
The idiot that I am, realised at that moment that they were sisters. I like to make myself believe deep down I've always known it.
"What?2 Austin squeals and stops in his track.
She peers at him "What what? Annabelle and I are taking a cab home."
When I look at Annabelle she gives me the impression of being uncomfortable. I can relate to her, I know what it's like to have a sister who wants to be in charge of everything. Though I never let May be in charge of anything and usually my reason was that I was older and I sincerely wasn't feeling and still don't feel guilty about hitting her. On this topic, Daniel and I share the same opinion, which just proves my point.
"I can take you home." Austin shrugs nonchalantly, even though he's dying inside. "We live nearby anyway."
Caitlin glances at Annabelle and when she holds up her index finger, Austin and I know we need to give them time fort hem to consult about this plan. We hear a bunch of whispering and among it, I hear Annabelle say 'I don't mind going with him.' Which is soon followed by a sentence 'He's cute.'
I have never been called cute. Hot. Sexy. Handsome. All of the above, but never cute and I'm not sure how I feel about it.
Girls soon turn around and smile. Caitlin takes a step forward, already casting a spell over Austin with her presence "Okay, I'll go with you." Then she looks at me and her tone reminds me of a guard dog "But only if you'll take care of my sister."
Oh, I will. In many ways.
I glance at Annabelle, who becomes all nervous awaiting my answer. If the thought of me turning that offer down ever crossed her mind, she should seriously get herself a therapist. She's a beauty. "It would be my honour."
Relieved she smiles so widely, I see her white and well-taken care of teeth, which just makes her looks like a Hollywood star.
"Then it's arranged," Caitlin says and when we come to the parking lot, Austin opens the door for her to sit inside. "See you later, sis." She says to Annabelle, who's standing next to me and my Alpha Romeo.
"Bye," says Annabelle and Austin drive away, looking like the happiest man to have ever lived.
I am left alone in the parking lot with her. I'm not sure I should just take her home yet, maybe she'd like to go somewhere else as well. "Is there anywhere else you'd li- mphff!"
Before I get my head around it, I feel Annabelle's lips on mine and feel her adventuristic tongue. She's kissing me eagerly, kind of sloppily, but definitely needy. The way she's kissing me tells me right about everything how much she wants me. But these thoughts come to me a bit later. At first, I am more than happy to kiss her back, not hesitating to hold her hips, which soon turns into a necessity, when she pressed me against the side of my car and starts climbing all over me.
Alpha Romeo it is.
Without a second thought, I unlock the car. Don't ask, how do we get inside, we just do somehow. I can't see how we do it because I am too busy kissing those hungry lips back without any regret. We get in the back seat and she sits on me like she's some kind of professional. But by the way of her flushed cheeks, heavy breathing and eager smile, I know she doesn't do that often.
What I particularly like about her, is how neat she is. She takes her dear time to unbutton my shirt, then spreads it open like my body is a delicate chocolate. I like it.
She runs her hands up and down my chest, smiling sexily all the time. I don't always moan during the foreplay, but Annabelle's performance almost makes me come, so moaning is the least of my problems. And by seeing how proud she is of making me squirm under her hands, she likes to what an impact she has on men in my position right now.
When she thinks my chest has had enough of her treatment, which it hasn't, she lifts herself and takes the fabric of her dress off of her shoulders. She smiles like a devil at me and before she completely pulls it down and shows herself to me, she bites her lips kind of shyly "This is my first time doing it like this."
I return her a smile and it's really hard for me to keep my eyes off of her still covered breasts "I'm happy to be the first one to do it with you, then." I lift myself up as well to kiss her, but when I do, she is not as responsive as she was before. I keep my face close to hers and I look at her "What's wrong?"
"First?" She whispers and pulls back from me to see me clearly "You think I do that kind of thing all the time?"
Oh crap.
"Well, you're... young and beautiful, I don't see why wouldn't you?" I shrug, my erection dying down along with my mood.
She furrows her brows, before she looks down and then around the car, pulling her dress back on and whispering "I knew this would be too good and too easy." Shaking her head, she leaves the car.
With a still opened shirt, I follow her "Annabelle!"
She's walking away furiously until she suddenly stops and I nearly bump at her "Just... What made you think I'd like to fool around like that?!"
I swallow hard and look down at her "I'm sorry, okay, I didn't mean to sound it like that."
"Just answer me." she demands and when I don't, because I honestly don't know what to tell her, she sighs "Guys like you just made me stop believing, I could get a decent one, you know that?" She looks around and when I find some words that could calm her down, she erupts again "I don't have that much time to fool around anymore. I used to, but I don't do it anymore and I don't get it how you guys are stupid enough to not see that."
She turns away from me and I feel extremely guilty for seeing her as one of her peers, the stupid 23-year-old who just finished college and don't exactly know what to do with themselves. I reach out to her, my finger gently touch her arm and I murmur quietly "Let me at least take you home."
"No." she says and moves out of my hand's reach. "In case you haven't noticed I'm a grown woman and I can get myself home." Soon, she chuckles sadly "But of course, you noticed. That's why you were so happy to get us somewhere private, so I would spread my legs to you."
This is bad. Really bad.
I hear her sniffle a little and by looking at her arms notice she starts to tremble. It's not much, but I do take off my shirt completely and try putting it over her shoulders. It's better than nothing anyway.
She flips completely "Can you just stop?!" She turns and glares at me, ripping my shirt off of her arms and throwing it at me "Stop acting like a gentleman, 'cause you certainly aren't one."
"I'm trying to make things right," I say in my defence and also to make her feel better. It's the truth that benefits us both and I hope it will. No girl has ever lost it as much as Annabelle has now.
"Well, you can't. You did more damage than good anyway." She hugs herself to keep herself warm. As she does it, she murmurs, her voice breaking in the middle of her sentence "And I mean it about going home by myself. I no longer need you here. Goodbye."
Author's note: This was one long chapter, I know, but I hope you aren't mad about it. I hope you like new girls who come to Nathan's life, Caitlin, Annabelle and Justine whom you've met in the previous chapter. I do wonder, who's your favourite!
