Tom's P.O.V

I suddenly felt something grab my hand and so I looked up and saw Tord looking at me with an obviously worried expression, "What's wrong?" I asked as I tried my best to smile.

We are now on the way to the Home for the Aged but Tord decided to stop by the park where had our date to see if it was suitable for Auntie Rosy's liking. To our surprise... the park didn't change much. It still had a lot of trees and fresh-cut grasses. It was still fresh but there was a new fountain added on the center.

I guess the owner still had it well managed. Nonetheless... It still felt the same.

Tord traced his eyes from my head to toe, "What happened in there? When I got in you seem to be acting differently.." he said as he lean over to me.

After being told about Tafira's story, I just couldn't help but having the want to hug Tord. I couldn't believe it... I actually wanna hug him because now I knew.. Why he had to break it up with me.

But did he want it?

"What did Taf say to you?" Tord asked, pulling Tom closer to him.

'She was the reason why we broke up.'

I felt sick thinking about it... It felt like I'm blaming her for everything that had happened. I don't even know if it's really her fault. But what I was just told... Is what I only know. I don't know about anything else nor am I allowed to assume things...

I shake my head and pointed at the pond right ahead of us, "Look! Isn't that the pond where you saw those little duckies?" I tried exclaiming really happily. I hate acting like I was okay. It just didn't feel right.

I sprinted over to the pond and kneel on the edge of the land and desperately searched for a family of ducks on the pond. I could tell that Tord was behind me... Watching me...

I knew he had a sharp eye and that he could tell that I am running away...

"Hey."

I jumped in surprise and looked up to him, "Hmm?" I gave him a fake smile even though I'm really trying not to hug him right now.

"What's wrong? It seems like you've been avoiding telling me something." Tord said as he sat down beside me. I took the chance to stand up and walk away again but he held my hand. Squeezing it tightly and obviously not wanting to let go, "She told you, huh?"

When I heard Tord chuckle I immediately pull my hand out of his, "She told me.. But... I'm still not sure. I'm scared of believing... I really want to believe what she told me but... I'm not sure if I trust her anymore. Who am I supposed to trust Tord? " I asked before looking up and look him in his eyes, "I feel so stuck... Please help me with this."

I was begging and I sounded like it. I was confused and scared that my voice was cracking painfully. I was trying my best to keep a smile but knowing how much people I've lost trust on. I didn't know who am I supposed to be smiling to.

Tord's expression darkened and he was just staring at me with wide eyes. At this time I'm sure my tears were about to fall but I kept it in and muster all my strength just to smile.

"You told me that you'd try to win my trust back... right?... Well... Now's the time where I need that..." my voice cracked and so suddenly.. I felt arms pulling me in.

Tord hugged me as tight as he could that it was actually difficult for me to breathe.

I started crying again, pouring all my emotions out to reach for him. He was the only one beside me right now and I am confused and frightened. I had to cry on his shoulder..

Tord pets my head gently as he hushes quietly. His voice sounded so gentle and sweet he said,

"I'm here... I'm here now.."

I felt relieved as I nuzzled closer to him and hugged him back. I really wanted to feel safe for at least just a bit.. I really hope Tord could help me get out of the void I am stuck in.

No One's P.O.V

Tord stepped on the breaks and looked up to the traffic light, "I timed it perfectly! Look the light turned red just now!" Tord said happily before looking over at Tom. His smile immediately dropped when he saw how darkened Tom's expression was.

He looked so worn-out.. Tord felt a sting inside his chest. Tom lifted his head up and immediately nodded, "Oh! Yeah! That was perfectly timed!" he exclaimed and faked chuckled. It was painfully very obvious to Tord that he just had to look away from the brit before he'll get angry at Tom for making him worry.

"How's the cut on your arm?" Tord asked, Tom looked at him and saw how Tord has his head turned to the window. Tom immediately knew that Tord was getting impatient with him.

He knew Tord wasn't the type to burst out in situations like this. So Tom immediately knew how serious Tord was right now, "I-it's fine now... Only there's an obvious scar on my... Arm.." Tom replied.

"That's good." Tord bluntly responded as he shifted to face the front. The expression he was wearing made Tom feel a chilling sensation.

"You're still thinking about what she said to you, huh?" Tord asked and it made Tom go completely quiet.

The light turned green and so Tord immediately stepped on the gas. Driving as fast as he can and turned to a different direction ignoring all the cars that were about to crash on them. Tom shot up on his seat and turned to Tord, "Where are we going?! I thought you said--"

"SHUT UP."

With that Tom shut his mouth and let Tord drag him to wherever. They stopped at a house that seemed very abandoned. The streets were quiet and there wasn't much people around.

It looked like they were in an apocalypse... Tord got out of the car dragging Tom out with him.

"T-tord! Please don't do this!" Tom begged, in his mind he was thinking that Tord was gonna do him again. And he didn't want it. But Tord dragged him inside the dark house.

The inside of the house was almost pitch black and only the light from the outside was shining on the surroundings but Tord suddenly shut the door close.

Now it was all dark. Tom couldn't see a thing. He felt afraid and regretted why he had the thought that he could trust Tord again.

Suddenly he felt like he was hoisted up and was carried on someone's shoulder.

"When I get down there make sure to have the lights turned on." Tord's voice said as if he was talking to someone with a.. some kind of a walkie talkie.

Tom just kept his mouth shut. Not wanting to make Tord angrier than he was...

When he felt Tord walk down a set of stairs. Tom immediately saw a bright light shining on a spot where they was a huge glass covering up the way.. As if they had something barricaded inside.

As Tord walk closely to the light, everything was slowly making things visible to Tom.

"Tord?.. What are you--"

Tord put Tom down on a chair before walking over to the side and pressed a button that made a loud eerie sound that made Tom cover his ears because it sounded painful.

Tom looked at Tord and was about to shout at him when suddenly he saw something walk closer to the light. Chains were clanking and it sounded like a huge ball was dragged across the floor.

Someone stepped closer to the light and smiled at Tom, "Boss! What brings you here?!" a voice greeted joyfully.

Tom was about to walk closer to the glass but Tord pulled him away, "Just stay in place. He can clearly hear you. There are a lot of microphones around the place. As well as speakers. It was to keep him secure and that we can hear every move he makes." Tord explained.

Tom's eyes widened as he turned to the glass and look at the person who has his hand cuffed with cement and tied with chains. Both of his feet were chained onto a huge peridotite rock. He was wearing a metal mask to which only showed his gleefully looking eyes.

"I thought I wouldn't have the chance to see you again!" Zion exclaimed very happily.
