Chapter 4
I skipped school the rest of the week, saying I was sick. If gramps knew, he'd get pretty mad... But I just can't face them. Not after I cried like that. I am such an idiot.
"Yuki-sama." a maid said entering the room. "Are you attending the dance?"
Oh... the dance is today huh? I decided I will go, and deny I ever cried. I nodded and changed to the guy's tux. I put on the best glare I could once I got out of the limousine.
"Yuuki-?" Haruhi said confused once she saw me. "I heard you were sick... are you alright?"
"I'm fine." I muttered as I continued walking.
I saw the Hosts all around the room, dancing and having fun.
Doesn't look like they missed me... OF COURSE THEY DIDN'T! i DON'T CARE ANYWAY!
I glared harder as I went for a snack.
"Yuuki-kun! You came!" the gils that spotted me said. I nodded carelessly.
"I heard you were sick-"
"I'm fine." I grunted.
They all scram like fangirls and I got an anime vein. Relax, breathe, I can do this.
I was planning on just leaning in a wall all alone until I saw a girl in the wall. She was looking at the persons that were dancing sadly. Stupid feelings.
"Come dance." I said without asking as I dragged her to the dance floor. She seemed surpriced, but then she smiled sweetly and we danced. She was having fun, no doubt. The other hosts finally noticed me.
"Yuuki-" Tamaki said as he tried to hug me.
"Don't get near me." I grunted annoyed. This guy is like a lost puppy.
"Yuuki-chan!" Honey said as he jumped in my arms.
'Relax Yuuki, he's just a kid. He's only a young boy. No worries.' i thought trying to calm myself.
"Why des he get a hug?" Tamaki ased crying.
"He's a kid-"
"He's older than you." Hikaru interrupted.
I looked at Hunny wide-eyed ad he scratched his head nervously.
"Yeah... I'm older-"
I dropped him to the ground and took a step back. Surpricingly, he landed in his feet.
"Then you can't get hugs." I stated.
I then saw Kyoya, and I scowled as I turned around.
"Yuuki," Kyoya said. "I didn't mean to tell your secret. The host club won't tell, but they do need to know why."
"What if I don't want to tell you?" I asked angry. Nobody tells me what to do and expect me to obey.
"Then I'm afraid I'll have to tell them." he stated.
"You're not kidding anyone. They already know." I said as I shook my head. How stupid does he think I am?
"Well.. we do know," Hikaru said smiling a bit.
"However, we don't know why you don't like closeness to any guy-" Kaoru started
My glare darkened. "That's none of your business. Where's Haruhi?... and Tamaki?"
"Doesn't matter. Why don't you trust us?" Kaoru asked.
"I don't trust anyone anymore." I stated simply.
"Why?"
"Because people can't be trusted." I said.
"What?" Hikaru said confused. "There are people ou can trust. We are your friends-"
"No you're not. And if you were, I wouldnt trust you either way." I stated.
"What are you saying? Don't you trust anyone at all? That's imposible." Hikaru insisted.
"I trust my brother." I said.
"And don't you have any other friends?"
"Yes, my brother's friends. But I don't trust them anyway. I don't trust anyone besides my brother, get it?"
"Why?" Kaoru asked confused.
"Because people can't be trusted. They might only be fooling you. They pretend they like you, they 'keep' your sectes? Lies. They only like you for beneficts. I know you noticed. Kyoya probably talked to Tamaki only because he is a Suho, same for you. You all got something for your friendships. They are not real. A mere ilusion. I know you two undertand, being twins. It must be tireing people not recognising you as two different people. People confusing you with the other. It must hurt, and I can see you aren't completely opened up to the world yet. I think, of the club, I can relate more to you two." I said simly.
Hikaru P.O.V.
I listened to her wide-eyed, What could've happened to this girl. Her eyes... they looked so empty... so hurt. I could see Kaoru's pained expression. I completely understood him. Since she recognised us, she became someone important. We had been worried when she didn't come to school.
Even though she had little time in the club, I could see most already accepted her fully. Even Kyoya seems nicer around her.
"Yuuki-chan," Kaoru said in a sad tone. "We aren't the people who hurt you. Me and Hikaru did the same, we never let anyone in. I know realise my mistake, and thanks to the club, am more relaxed. Try it Yuuki, who hurt you this bad for you to completly close."
"J-Just shut up." Yuuki said berofe she turned and left.
"What's this?" Honney asked as she held something that fell off of Yuuki's tux.
We all looked at that photo shocked. I was Yuuki, being hugged by her brother. She looked like two years younger. She had her hair long and was smiling shyly at the camara. She was even dressed with a cute blouse. Her brother was winking while doing a peace sign. How could someone that happy... end up like that.
"It must've been before whatever happened." Kaoru said with a sad smile. "She seem's so happy..."
I sighted. I wish we could make her smile like that...
"That's it!" Honey said. "We have to make her smile like that again!"
"But, she'll hurt-" I started.
"She has to hurt, for her to let it go away." Honey said in a serious tone that surpriced us all. It gave us some determination and we all nodded. I noticed Kaoru place the photo in the inside pocked of his tux.
"We shall, but right now, we have to continue with the other plan. Haruhi and Tamaki are probably done by now." Kyoya said.
We all nodded and followed to do the countdown.
I just hope we get to make Yuuki smile like that again.
