I suddenly woke up to something wet in my face.

"What the-" I said as I saw a dog licking me. I sat up groggily. I am still weak.

"Alison!" Kakashi said as he looked at me. "What where you thinking?! You can't fight Zabuza! You should never ask for fights"

"Oi, Kakashi, I don't exactly feel that well to be lectured," I said as I stood up shakily.

I saw only blurred spots and I lost balance, however someone caught me.

"N-Naruto?" I asked confused. "Where's Haku?"

He looked away, and I looked to where Kakashi was with Haku. I let tears fall down then.

"I'll miss you Haku," I said as I looked at him, silent tears leaving my eyes. Zabuza looked at me pained. Kakashi seemed shocked, while Naruto seemed... broken.

"D-Don't cry." Naruto said as he wiped the tears.

"Come Naruto," I said as I turned around. “Please take me to Sasuke, he'll wake up soon."

"A-Alison... Sasuke-" 

"I know, but he's not dead," I said. Naruto started to help me to walk, however I stopped.

"Zabuza," I said as I turned my head, and he looked at me. "I truly respect you as a ninja... Zabuza-sensei."

I smiled and Zabuza seemed shocked, Naruto looked at me confused, but said nothing.

However, I heard Gatou and I remembered. I ran at full speed and got to Haku just in time and Gatou ended up kicking me in the stomach. I glared at him as I spat blood.

"You coward! You should never disrespect the dead!" I said through gritted teeth.

He then glared at me and grabbed me by my neck, but I was slightly taller than him so he just ended up helping me stand. I smirked as he realized this and I then threw a punch myself. He was sent to his ninja who all tried to attack me at once, making me realize my mistake.

Before I even had time to think I suddenly transformed back to wolf form, being taller than most ninjas. Gato barely reached my legs. I growled menacingly and they all backed away. I heard gasps from behind me but I didn't turn. 

I turned around; listening to every single movement, but everyone seemed too shocked to move. I was losing blood sooner since as I transformed the gash in my arm got bigger. Damn it, that hurts! I gently lifted Haku with my head and placed him in my back. I then carefully walked to the others. Kakashi and Naruto took a step back; Zabuza however was looking at me thankful.

I slowly put Haku in front of him and he then reached for my head, which I let him pet. 

"You're a great kid. I also respect you as a ninja, Alison. Thanks" He muttered lowly. I nodded and walked back to Naruto. This time he didn't back away. I was so much taller than him; it made me want to laugh. I held no strength so I suddenly transformed back to myself and fell in Naruto's arms.

"Why didn't you say anything?" Naruto yelled at Zabuza. "Weren't you friends?"

I smiled. Oh Naruto, if you only knew the power of your words.

"Shut up kid. Haku is already dead." Zabuza said, trying to cover his real emotions. I however could see it, he was sad.

"Don't you feel anything at all? Weren’t you always together?" Naruto yelled.

I rested my head on his chest, feeling as energy slowly left me.

I couldn't hear right anymore, but I was fighting to stay awake. I can't keep blacking out, I'll worry everybody. Naruto's shouts hurt my head, but Zabuza needed to hear them.

"Naruto," I muttered. "Take me to Sasuke please."

He seemed to have forgotten I was there.

"A-Ali-chan! You look really pa-" I covered his mouth, luckily Kakashi hadn't heard.

"Just take me," I insisted.

He nodded and took me to find Sakura hugging Sasuke.

"Sakura," I muttered weakly, she looked so shocked. "You'll suffocate him, give him some space.”

"No Alison," she said sadly, "Sasuke is-"

"Sakura?" Sasuke asked weakly.

"Move,” I commanded as Sakura started to hug Sasuke, she obliged. I took out the needles as he looked at me confused. He seemed too weak to move, since he had just been paralyzed.

I placed my hand on his chest and concentrated. Soon, I felt some of my energy go to him, and he sat up.

 I didn't wait for a thank you, since I probably wouldn't get one. I stood up shaking and walked to Kakashi. The ninjas where planning on attacking when the villagers showed up. Then Naruto did his shadow clones. Kakashi followed, only he didn’t have that much chakra for real solid shadow clones so he only did clones. I decided I could help and turned my fingernails into claws and my teeth to fangs, letting out a loud snarl. That’s the most I can do.

The ninja thought better about it and ran away.

"Kakashi, I have a request." Zabuza said.

"What is it?" Kakashi asked.

"I want to see his face," Zabuza muttered.

Kakashi picked him up and brought him to Haku. Once he set Zabuza down I knelt beside him and hugged, as I let a few tears fall. 

"I-I'll miss y-you," I whispered and I saw him weakly smirk. “I really would’ve loved to get to fight more with you.”

"Take care...princess," He muttered, then turning to Haku.

I stood up and weakly walked back. I hugged Naruto, unable to look at the two in the floor anymore. He hugged back and I felt very tired.

"K-Kakashi," I muttered, and he turned to me immediately. His eyes widened as he was the blood in myself. "I think... I might've lost a bit of blood... and chakra..."

He sighed as he came and picked me up.

"You think?" he asked as he raised an eyebrow.

"I'm assuming," I said smirking weakly. "I won't die right... I'm too young! I never got to have my pink puppy..." I said jokingly faking sadness.

"How can you play with such a thing?" Kakashi said as he got an anime vein. "But no, you won't die"

"Heh... now tell me, am I still just the 'unpredictable' ninja? I actually find it quite fitting now... I do tend to do the unexpected," I noted.

"I think it does suit you," Kakashi said as he smiled.

"Yeah... see you later..." I said as unconsciousness took me once again.

"I want to stand up!" I whined as I pouted at Kakashi-sensei.

"You can't yet," He said simply.

"I'm pretty sure I can,” I disagreed. "It's been two whole weeks! You know well I can perfectly stand since like, a week ago!"

"Fine, try then, and you'll see how you lose balance," he said as I fist-pounded the air.

I sat up and then stood up fast; however I got a bit dizzy, so I sat down again.

"See," he said.

"That's different! It's because I got up too fast!" I muttered annoyed.

"I think you should change... you look scary on that," he said sighting.

I looked at my still bloodied clothes. My arm was all bandaged and it still hurt a bit. My black shirt looked like a weird color because of the blood.

"I agree," I said after a while. Kakashi left and I got my clothes out. I grabbed the pink shirt and bandages, and then I grabbed my headband and the fishnets.

I took a bath, and changed. I dressed like I always did in Konoha, except I didn't use the bandages as a belt, I used my headband as a belt, giving it two whole circles in my stomach, and knotting it in the front. I did this since last time I noticed the cat ears were quite uncomfortable with the headband.

I then went outside to meet everyone, only they had gone to Zabuza's and Haku's graves. I went at full speed and jumped, landing on Naruto's back.

"Missed me?" I said grinning.

"Yeah!" Naruto said as he did his super cute grin.

"Awwww!" I squealed as I hugged him from his back.

We went to say goodbye and I climbed off of Naruto's back. I went to Inari and hugged him.

"Now you're a hero Inari!" I said as I stood back up smiling at him. He smiled and jumped giving me a hug, which I returned.

I then watched as he and Naruto were trying not to cry.

"So cuteee!" I said as I looked at them.

"Yeah right." Sasuke scoffed. I glared at him and he just looked at the floor. "Thank you Alison."

"Huh?" I said confused.

"The chakra... I would be in bed right now if it wasn't for you. Thank you," This time he looked at me in the eyes and I grinned. I put my arm in his shoulder happily.

"You're welcome duck-butt!" I said happily.

Sakura glared at me and I instantly took a step away from him, making Sasuke smirk at me while I stuck my tongue out.

"Loser," He muttered.

"Your face," I said as I stuck my tongue once again and went to Kakashi.

Tazuna named the bridge the Naruto bridge, and we happily continued our way back to our own village.

I got tired really fast and I was whining once we arrived; I seemed to be the last one to get to the gates.

"Hello Kotetsu! Izumo!" I said happily as they both looked at me surprised. I dropped to the ground tired not even getting inside the village.

"Who're you?" Izumo asked.

"I'm Alison!" I said as I lay on the ground.

"Why are you on the ground?" Kotetsu asked smiling a bit.

"I'm tired," I said as I smiled at him. They're actually good looking, but totally not my type... apart from being obviously older.

"Hey kid," Kotetsu said suddenly. "We were discussing a while ago... care to help?"

"Sure," I said sitting. "What's wrong?"

"Well, I was saying one thing... Izumo disagreed... and now I want to show him I am right. Give your true opinion. No hard feelings," Kotetsu said.

"Seems easy enough. Shoot."

"Who is hotter?" Kotetsu said raising his eyebrows in a seductive manner. Izumo was doing the same and I blushed a little. So not my type, older but still… damn they were attractive.

"Er..." I said nervously. "No hard feelings?"

"None," Izumo said smirking- which made him look kind-of badass… So I blushed more.

"Well, I'll put it like this, out of 10, Kotetsu is an 8.9," I said thinking. "But... Izumo is 9" I said as I smiled sheepishly.

"9?! You've got to be kidding me! I'm a ten!" Izumo disagreed scowling dejected.

"No fair!" Kotetsu said.

"Well, the faces didn't help you at all Kotetsu, but Izumo… Let’s just say he looked better... Hehe... maybe I can change opinion... Who knows?" I said as I smiled.

"I just remembered something I was going to do... see you at the Chunnin exams!" I yelled as I ran inside the village.

I went through some streets until I saw him. 

"OREOOOOOO!" I yelled as I ran at my doggy, which ran at me as soon as he saw me.

I caught him with one arm (the other still hurt a bit) and he started to wag his tail.

"I'm sorry! I took too looong! Where did you stay?" I said confused.

He jumped from my arms and signaled for me to follow, which I did. I was following him when he suddenly stopped, and I saw someone was running and Oreo was in the way so I pushed him and that someone collided with me, landing on top of me.

"Ghm..." he grunted, I looked up and saw Kiba. Oreo then jumped to his back making Kiba push me down a little more. He looked at me and blushed, and I did the exact same thing. "S-Sorry Ali-chan! I wasn’t looking were I was going!"

"No worries Kiba," I said smiling. He looked at me still. 

"COME BACK HERE KI- Oh," a girl said from behind Kiba. "And who is this girl Kiba... you never mentioned your girlfriend..."

"Hana!" Kiba shouted as he got off me and helped me up. "She's not my girlfriend!"

"Oh... yeah, she looks too pretty for you," Hana said, making me blush.

"Oh girl! What happened in your arm?" Hana asked concerned. I looked at my arm and saw the Bandages covered in blood.

"Oh... I had to change them... I forgot..." I said as I scratched the back of my head smiling. "It happened on a mission."

"What? What type of mission? Aren't you a Genin?" Hana asked.

"Yeah... we were given a C-ranked mission, but it turned to be a B-rank. I got this in a distraction during a fight."

"Oh... so you’re a strong girl! I like it! Come, our home is near here and we can get you some bandages, then maybe you could stay for dinner..."

"I don't know, I don't want to intrude..." I said smiling slightly. Seems like a cool chick.

"Oh, nonsense!" Hana said as she started walking. "Come on then!"

"Did you really get that in a mission?" Kiba asked shocked as we followed.

"Yeah... I kind of became friends with the enemy... we were having a friendly fight... but I got distracted."

"What?" Kiba asked as he looked at me like I was stupid. "Why did you become friends with the enemy?"

"They were nice people!"I defended blushing. I then told him only how they had kidnapped me and then about the fight.

He seemed to listen to every bit of it as if it was super important... He looked at me straight in the eye, making me blush for some unknown reason at times. We arrived and Hana gave Kiba some bandages.

"I can do it-"

"I'll do it." Kiba interrupted as he changed them. "You... you don't have to stay if you don't like to you know... Hana's just like that sometimes..."

"Oh, no! It's fine!" I assured as I smiled sweetly. I saw him blush a little and it made me giggle, making him blush more.

I had dinner with Kiba and met his mom as well. I had a good time and laughed a lot. Then Kiba walked me home and we separated ways, promising I'll join them tomorrow as well. Once I as changed I went to my bed with Oreo beside me, smiling as I thought about today. Kiba seemed really cool. We’re so going to get along.

The next day I woke up early, being used to it because of the time at Tazuna’s. So I decided I would go train.

I took a hot shower and got in more normal clothes, which consisted of black exercise shorts and a simple white tank-top with a pink hoodie over it. I put on some combat boots and got my hair in a braid.

So needless to say, I looked really different.

I ate breakfast and gave Oreo something to eat before finally going outside. I decided to take Oreo with me so he wasn’t stuck in the house all day.

“Come on! One more time!” I heard a familiar voice in the training grounds.

I arrived only to find Kiba and Akamaru. They were apparently practicing Fang over Fang.

“Damn,” I said surprised staring at Kiba. He was in a black fitting t-shirt and black pants. He was breathing hard and as they once again tried they nailed the jutsu. Only, Kiba’s chakra was low, so as soon as they let the jutsu off he dropped on his knees, both him and Akamaru breathing hard.

“You should know when to stop Kiba,” I said smiling as I reached him. “Knowing your limits also makes you a great ninja you know?”

“Alison?” Kia said looking up tiredly.

“Come here,” I said offering my hand.

He slowly took it and I helped him stand up. I put his arm around my shoulder and made my way to a bench, supporting him. I let Kiba sit down and I was thankful I brought a water bottle with me because he really needed it.

“Here,” I said offering him the water. He took it gratefully and finished it, making me sweat-drop.

“Thanks,” he said still tired, resting his head on the bench and trying to control his breathing. I saw Oreo by Akamaru keeping him company.

I sighed and took Kiba’s hand, which made him open his eyes suddenly and blush. I closed my eyes, ignoring his curious look and transferred some of my chakra. As soon as I heard his breathing back to normal I let go of his hand, a slight pink blush on my face.

“How’d you do that?” He asked surprised.

“Just a little trick I learned,” I said mysteriously smiling. Kiba smiled as well and stared into my eyes with a weird expression. I suddenly felt very self conscious so I abruptly stood up.

“Um, well I came here to train so, yeah…” I said awkwardly.

“Yeah, now that I have more energy I’ll continue training as well… only with kunai knives or taijutsu… Akamaru seems tired still.”

I smiled and made my way to the stumps. I first started warming up. Then I stretched for about 30 minutes. All that while I could sometimes feel Kiba’s stare, but when I looked he was busy training so I must’ve imagined it.

I finally stood up and decided to practice with kunais first. I threw kunais to targets and after a while of hitting the center I decided to move on. I want to practice my taijutsu…

“I felt a kunai coming at me from behind so I spoon around and caught it between two fingers, looking towards Kiba.

“Yes?” I asked smirking.

“I noticed you were staring into space,” Kiba said smiling a bit surprised. “Care for a spar?”

“I’d like that actually,” I said smiling. “But, taijutsu spar! No weapons, no jutsus.”

“Fair enough,” Kiba said smirking.

“You seem confident,” I noticed kind of annoyed.

“I am,” he said smiling.

“I’ll wipe that smirk of your face dog-boy,” I said crossing my arms.

“Let’s see you try,” he said determined.

I ran at him and started throwing punches and kicks. He dodged them all, but then again, I wasn’t using everything I had. He wasn’t really using everything either and that made me angry. Did he think he was better than me and he had to let me win? HA.

“You’re good,” I said stopping his punch with one mere finger, making him gasp. “But not good enough.” Damn that hurt!

With that said I kicked him hard in the stomach, sending him back a few feet. He was so surprised he lost his balance and fell backwards.

“What?” he said confused.

“Don’t underestimate me,” I said annoyed. “Just because I am a girl doesn’t mean you’re stronger!”

“But apparently you let your emotions get in the way,” he said suddenly appearing beside me. The Kiba that was on the floor disappearing.

This time it was me who fell back in surprise.

I blushed bright red from embarrassment as Kiba started laughing his guts off.

“That was cheating!” I shouted standing up and putting an accusing finger in his chest. “You used a clone!”

“I’m sorry,” he said sobering up. “I just…. Your face!”

Then he stared laughing again, grabbing his stomach.

“You’re such an idiot!” I said, but I couldn’t help the smile that formed on my face.

“Don’t be a sore loser,” he teased.

“I didn’t lose! You cheated,” I replied shaking my head amused.

“Sure thing Ali-chan,” he said patting my hair.

“Shut up,” I said pushing him lightly.

After that Kiba and I went to spar many other days, we became training buddies…. This led to us being good friends. I went to his house for dinner most nights.

“Ali-chan! Open the door,” Kiba shouted as he pounded on my door.

“Wait up!” I shouted as I took my bag.

Today we decided to go for a swim and I packed my towel and some food.

“Shut up Kiba!” I said as I opened my door.

“Well you took your time!” he said annoyed as he came inside.

“Yeah, come on in,” I said sarcastically smiling as he went for my kitchen. He started rummaging for food… as always. “And make you’re self at home! No need to be so shy!”

Kiba smiled rolling his eyes as he ate some of my chips.

“Let’s go!” he said as he took my arm and pulled me along.

We talked all the way to the lake and when we arrived I let my stuff down and sat myself on the grass.

“What’re you doing? Let’s swim already!” Kiba said smiling excited. He then proceeded to take off his shirt which certainly made me blush and turn away. He then jumped to the water, making me laugh.

“Are you coming in or do I have to come get you?” he said as he floated on the water. “The water is warm now come on!”

“I’m coming,” I said smiling.

Truth is, I felt a bit awkward. Kiba has never really seen my scars… I don’t want him to ask. Not to mention…. What if he thinks they look ugly? What if he thinks I look ugly? I stood up and started taking my shirt off. Why do I even care… It’s not as if I like Kiba… Or do I?

I blushed when my shirt was off and Kiba I was left in my green bikini top and my shorts, which I wouldn’t take off.… Kiba first seemed to open his mouth a little, but then he frowned, coming out of the water and walking to me.

My eyes widened as I kind of trembled. “What are you doing? Let’s just swim!” I took his arm and tried to move him but he just stared hard at me, not moving and inch.

“What happened? These aren’t recent. You’re covered in scars Alison.”

My breathing sped up. “Kiba, they are from training, they’re-“

“You’re a terrible liar,” he said sadly. His hand traced a scar on my arm, then stopping my hand, making me shiver a little.

Please, don’t.

He then proceeded to silently trace the big scar on my stomach, a troubled expression on his face.

“Alison,” he barely breathed it out, I’m not even sure how I was able to hear it. But that was enough to make my eyes tear up. I didn’t let the tears fall of course. I won’t cry, not in front of Kiba… Not in front of anyone if I can help it. Not for this. He had said it with such emotion I really was left with nothing to say. Not being able to form words.

“Alison, please tell me,” he pleaded looking into my eyes intently. “What happened?”

I sighed, breathing deeply to calm myself.

“Let’s just say, I had a hard childhood. My parents… weren’t really the best parents. They would get mad and… well, you see the consequences,” I said simply, glad that my voice didn’t once crack.

“Y-Your parents did this?” he said taken by surprise. “Why would-“

“Because. I don’t know Kiba. I wasn’t good enough for them? Who knows really?” I said closing my eyes. “But please, just… I don’t like to think about them. I prefer to pretend they’re not there so let’s just please have a normal day.”

Kiba seemed to think deeply, and then I saw a small smile tug at his lips. What is he thinking of now…

My question was answered as I was suddenly lifted up and thrown to the water. I emerged fast only to find a laughing Kiba standing outside.

“You jerk!” I yelled angrily. But I then looked at him, laughing loudly and I couldn’t help but smile. Thank you Kiba, it means more than you could ever think.

He then jumped into the water and we continued our fun day of races and water fights. Sincerely, I hadn’t had this much fun in a long while
