Kiba's POV

Akumara and I were walking home after eating barbecue when I smelled something off.

'"Woof! woof woof" Akumara looked at me then turned his nose up to the east.

" I know buddy, I smell it too" We felt a large chakra spike near the direction of the scent.

"Lets check it out" I started running to the source of my unease and as I got closer, it started smelling better and better. It smelled like home, and flowers and gardens, and it was indescribable all at the same time. I loved it. It was happiness and joy and love and caring and was better than anything else my nose had come in contact with.

We followed it back to the academy where Naruto sat on his swing looking up 'What is he doing here? He definitely isn't what I smelled. ' I followed to where his eyes were looking and above was a girl sleeping. 'What? She is what smells so good? Why is she sleeping up there in the first place?' Akamura growled and poked his head out of my jacket. I looked back up when I heard splintering and the girl was falling. Still asleep! I won't let her fall! I jumped forward and caught her, my arms cradling her body up to mine tightly.

I glanced back to Naruto whose jaw touched the floor. He stuttered an tried to tell me something but I hopped away with the lovely girl in my arms. Stupid Naruto, God, I was furious! Sticking a sleeping girl in a tree! She could have died! What kind of sick prank was that?

I had the girl in my arms but what do I do with her now? She smelled too good to leave her somewhere, I didn't want to risk her getting hurt. I will just take her home, wait for her to wake up. I know it's stupid, but I was kinda happy to take her home, even though I wouldn't take advantage of her, she was beautiful.
