Naruto POV

This sucks, Believe it! I sat and stared longingly at all the people my age. All laughing and playing together. Man, I wish I had friends, but when I become hokage, they will wanna hang out with me then. I sighed. And tilted my head back against the rope of the swing I was sitting sideways on and closed my eyes and fantasized about my future.

I pulled out of my dream and opened my eyes.

There was a girl on the branch above the one connected to my swing. And she was asleep. 'What's she doing up there taking a nap? I haven't seen her before, she wasn't in my class. But she sure is pretty. Probably more than Sakura.' Her hair flopped over her shoulders and her face was peaceful.

I stayed looking at her for a long time, everybody had already left to go home but she was still sleeping. 'I should probably wake her up. But what if she hated me like very one else?' I thought, questioning my odds 'She probably doesn't know me, maybe I can try to be friends with her.' The branch holding her was creaking and swaying. 'Nah, I mean, she got up there to sleep anyways, so she can get down, but this is my chance to make a friend so I am gonna take it! Believe it!' I thought determined

I didn't want to wake her up yet though, I kinda like just watching her.

....

I think I released how creepy that sounds.

The branch holding her cracked and splintered and I couldn't do anything but look at her falling body with widening eyes. Then I closed them, waiting for collision to strike.

WHOOSH

Air whipped by me and I saw someone had grabbed her and was kneeled on the ground with her in their arms

"Hey! What are you doin..." The silhouette turned and I recognized the face as. Kiba!? And Akumara in his jacket! I suppose I should be thanking him but why was he here? Does he even know her?

I didn't get to ask though because he jumped away with the girl and left me with more questions than answers.

'Well, that plan was buggered. Stupid Kina and your little dog too. '
