You and Heather sneaked through the bushes and undergrowth not wanting any unwanted attention. You 2 had spent the last hour travelling through the island occasionally stopping for rest. The shadows of the trees and rocks indicated that it was 2 pm and you still had 3 to 4 hours before the rendezvous.

You said "We severily underestimated how far we would have to walk, and now we're lost". Heather said "We're not lost, the island is massive and it may take us about 1 more hour to reach the base." You groaned and said "We should have brought Storm and Windshear, or even better, returned to the Edge". Heather looked at you and said "Stop complaining, we have a job to do".

You kept on walking until you reached a small stone mountain infront of you, it was more of a rock than a mountain and had a cave at the base of it. Heather said "We'll rest in the cave than leave, hopefully this will be the last rest stop before our destination". You said "Okay, but watch out there could be dragons inside".

You carefully approached the cave, your battle axe in your hands. You had decent practice with the battle axe and could defend yourself if need be.

You 2 entered the cave only to find skeleton remains and no dragon. You said "Thankfully there's no dragon here". Heather replied "Yeah but these skeletons worry me, this may be a nest, we should not stay here longer than necessary". You sat down leaning against the cave wall and drunk water from you flask. Heather sat down on the other side of the cave and did the same. You spent at least 10 minutes before getting up to leave.

You 2 walked out the cave and started to walk around it, it took you 10 minutes but you reached the other end after crawling through some really narrow spaces. At the back of the mountain was a small clearing where the trees had been cut down, but what caught your attention was the dragon that was occupying the clearing.

The dragon had 2 massive wings, bigger than its entire body, spines on its back and a horn on its head, it was red in colour and was absolutely massive. You could have been as big as a spine on its back, with razor sharp wings and a sort of beard. It had no legs or feet and a really really long tail, it was way bigger than a Typhoomerang, with a less dangerous fire but could still burn the flesh of your bones, the Timberjack.

Luckily the dragon was asleep with its body covering the entire clearing. Unfortunately that clearing was the only way forward due to rocks attached from the small mountain extending forward creating a path, the rocks ended a little further ahead where the forest started again.

You said "How do we cross this Timberjack?" Heather looked at the dragon and said "I have a risky idea but it may work". You already knew what it would be but asked "What's your plan". She replied "Timberjacks are really deep sleepers and not to mention massive, so we can climb onto its head and walk along its smooth back, jump off the tail without waking it up". She had made it seem so simple, but you knew it wasn't, but you had gotten so far and couldn't go back now (mostly because the way you had come from was really narrow, really really narrow). So you said "Fine, I'll go first and you follow me". Heather was quick to reply saying "Oh no, I'm the one going first, I'm more experienced than you when it comes to dealing with dragons and wilderness and I can't risk your life". You said "Well I can't risk your life so I'm going first". But Heather had already approached the dragon's head. You followed her and reached the head which was twice as big as you, you were scared being so close to the Dragon's mouth but Heather just put her foot on one of the teeth of the Timberjack that were pointing outside the mouth and jumped on. You tried to do the same but almost tripped and fell. Heather chuckled at your failed attempt and lent you a hand. The reason why you didn't walk over the wings of the beast was because a dragon is very sensitive and can be woken up from the deepest of slumbers if those are injured, also the Timberjack was a sharp class dragon with wings capable of cutting down trees. You climbed ontop of the mouth and started to follow Heather until you reached the back. That's where things went wrong.

You and Heather had reached halfway across, the spines were as tall as you were blocking the back of the dragon body and forcing you to jump across the sides, and while Heather was doing fantastic, you were struggling. Heather had already reached the end and had walked off the tail meanwhile you had just reached the tail. There was just one more jump than the spines would start to disappear. Heather called out "Come one you can do it!"

You took a deep breath and jumped, you jumped to the side and grabbed the spine trying to use it to turn yourself and land on the other side, however your hands missed and you fell directly onto the left wing of the dragon.

You instantly got up and ran off the Wing, jumping at the end to avoid the sharp edges but the damage was already done. You reached Heather who asked "Are you alright?" You replied "Yep thankfully I avoided the sharp edges". Heather was about to say something but at that moment the sun was blocked as a massive shadow loomed over the both of you.

You 2 turned around and saw the Timberjack awake staring at you both and judging from its looks, it was angry. Heather said "Well great, just what we needed, more giant killer dragons". If the Timberjack wasn't there than you would have laughed out loud but the Timberjack was there and it was really mad at you.

Heather asked "What now?" You thought, Timberjacks had no legs and usually slithered across the floor which hurs its body so it didnt move a lot, it's size and wings would also stop it from entering forests and luckily there was a massive one right behind you. Unfortunately the dragon was known to be able to cut trees down in a few seconds and could burn them as well. If you could find a ravine or another cave than you could survive as this dragon didn't have a lot of patience. You said "We have to run into the forest and try to find a cave or ravine, any small area where we can hide, than we can wait out the dragon, but we will have to be quick and can't count on the trees as cover, get read to run".

Heather nodded and you 2 slowly started to back away from the massive beast, it had not attacked yet and you intended not to give it a reason to. You slowly backed away and almost made it to the forest, but as usual something had to go wrong.

You kept backing away when the Timberjack suddenly roared, it was not as loud as the Screaming Death but the sudden sound startled you. You said "Run!" And darted for the woods, Heather running next to you.

Behind you the Timberjack, furious from being awakened from his nap, opened his open about to blast you and Heather with his fire blast. However at the last second you entered the forest and swerved right causing the fire to miss. The dragon roared in anger and started to cut down trees but you and Heather jumped into a few bushes and crouched, slowly going through the undergrowth. The dragon noticed the movements in the bushes and fired at the undergrowth causing you and and Heather to get up and start running, ahead you could see a hole in the ground, not a Whispering death hole but a natural one. You shouted to Heather "Heather we have to jump into that entrance in the ground!" She shouted back "Are you crazy, we could break out legs!" You countered by shouting "Better than being roasted alive!" Heather had no comeback to that and followed you to the hole.

Suddenly from behind, you heard a noise as Heather shouted your name and the Timberjack rammed you with its head. Thankfully the impact wasnt that hard and you only fell a few meters back, but you still felt pain. Heather reached you and extended her hand, you took it and got up, she asked "Are you alright?" You replied "I've been through worse, come on while the Timberjack's still recovering". The Timberjack had hit its head into the ground as well when ramming you and was now roaring in pain.

You 2 managed to reach the entrance, below you could see light from what seemed to be torches and a large pool of water, what you didn't know was whether it was shallow or deep. Heather said "We'll here goes nothing" and jumped in. You said to yourself "Don't bring the dragons, she said, we'll be fine she said, ugh I should've known better". You than proceeded to jump after her.

You hit the water and started to sink, turned out the lake was extremely deep, you quickly swam to the shore where Heather was laying coughing out water. You also crawled out of the water and started to cough out water. After a few minutes you and Heather got up amd examined the place you were in.

You were in a massive cavern with torches on the wall and a sort of really deep lake in the middle, where you had jumped into. Ahead of you was a tunnel that also looked natural and not like it had been dug by a Whispering Death. There were torches lining the walls of the tunnel and a path had been made that led deep into the tunnel.

You asked "What now?" Heather replied "I'm pretty sure this tunnel leads straight to that bastion we saw. We should follow it and maybe it will lead us to the mystery man". You said "Okay but what are we going to do than" She replied "I want info that we could get from a guard or from spying, I want to learn the name of that man, this island and why he attacked us".

That was a good reason so you said "Lead the way then". Heather said "Take out your battle axe as a precaution, we may have to fight guards or dragons down here."

You removed your axe from the strap on your back and held it in your right hand. Heather also took put her weapon and held it close to her chest, she than started to slowly walk into the tunnel trying to make as little noise as possible. You were right behind her.

From above you could hear the angry noises of the Timberjack searching for you, you ignored it and kept on walking.

Afyer a few minutes of walking you reached the end of the tunnel where it opened up into another massive cavern, there were stalactites hanging from the surface and there was a massive chasm separating the cavern. There used to be a bridge that crossed the chasm but it was torn into pieces. On the other side of the chasm was another tunnel with torches, that's where you need to go. You also spotted a way down into the chasm, the bottom of the chasm was pretty big as well with a small stream of water running through.

Heather said "Let's go down to the chasm and follow it, there'll probably be another path leading up to the other side." You nodded in agreement and followed her down the path.

Once in the chasm you noticed several things you were unable to notice from above, there were several scratch marks on the wall and the skeletal remains of what seemed to he a Monstrous Nightmare. There were also tracks on the ground whuch resemble that of a snake, but a huge one, behind you there was a cave leading to god knows where but a few meters ahead you could see a path to the other side of the cavern. There was also some sort of acid on the ground which you decided to avoid. Heather said "There's the path to the other side, come on follow me and do not step on the weird poison acid or whatever it is." You said "Heather I have a bad feeling about this, this cavern looks like the home of whoever created this poison." Heather replied "We'll be fine, but still just to be safe let's hurry."

You started to walk towards the path and climbed put to the other side, and than you saw the creature that lived in the chasm, or rather used to live.

It was a Slitherwing, a snake like dragon whose body was covered with deadly poison capable of killing anything within 3 nights. This one however was torn into pieces with blood and acid mixed together forming a yellowish liquid around it and its head detached next to it with half its organs outside.

Heather gagged and said "The poor thing, what could happened to it?" You stood there in shock. This was a full grown Slitherwing, and something had ripped it apart not caring about the deadly poison, you couldn't remember any dragon immune to the venom, you said "We should be afraid of who did this, I have never heard of any dragon able to resist the Slitherwing's venom". Heather replied "The other creature probably died after the fight" but even she didn't seem convinced by what she had said.

Heather than straightened herself, cleared her throat and said more confidently "The creature that has done this may still be around here so stay alert".

She than started to walk into the tunnel, her weapon at the ready and you did the same, eventually you reached the end of the tunnel where there were stairs leading up to double doors and several large crates. You said "What now?" Heatjer replied "We walk up those stairs and hope for the best". You said "That is the worst plan I've ever hea-". At that moment the double-doors opened and 2 dragon hunters walked out talking to each other, you and Heather quickly jumped behind a crater and stayed absolutely still, the hunters walked down the stairs and you could hear them talking. "Why are we hear? Titan Isles of all places, where every dragon is out for human flesh?" Said one hunter, the other replied "Viggo presented the island to the mysterious person and he agreed, and who are we to protest? Now come one, we have to clean up that Slitherwing". They both continued talking and walked ahead.

You started to think, so you were in a place called the Titan Isles, and Viggo was the one who presented the place, and apparently even the guards didn't know the mystery man's name either. As soon as the hunters were out of earshot you said "Well we know the name of this island". Heather replied "Yeah, my brother told me about this island, how all the dragons here would give anything to feed on human flesh because they were mentally insane. Anyways we need more information, so have to go through those doors". You sighed and said "Alright but I'm going first". Heather tried to protest but you had already walked up the stairs and were standing next to the doors.

You took a deep breath and slowly opened the door peaking through, and saw a large room with cells inside, the room was empty, of humans at least.

You walked in and saw several different dragon species in the cages, some Nadders, Monstrous Nightmare, Hideous Zipplebacks, Singetails, Gronkles and even a cage with a red Skrill inside, submerged in water, there was also a smaller cage at the end of the room along with some more doors which probably led to the heart of the bastion. Heather entered behind you and said "This must a cell for what look to me like unwanted dragons. Looks like we'll need to go through those doors to get to the actual Bastion." You said "Yep, let's be carefull, we don't want to accidently let these dragons out, I know Hiccup would save them but we don't know how to calm them so we'll save them next time".

Heather looked like she was about to protest but than you heard a strange female accent from the cell at the end of the room "H-hello? Is somebody there?" You and Heather rushed to the cell only to find a teenage girl inside, she looked about your age with a red cloak and some armour, along with a sword on her back, she had Ruby red eyes and a small scar on her right eye.

She said "Oh thank the gods, someone else besides those stupid guards, could you please get me out of here!" She had a strange accent, a mix of a Viking and Australian accent (you had met several people from Australia who were traders passing by). Heather asked "Who are you and how did you get here?"

The Girl sighed and said "Must you ask me now? Fine my name is Pearl Bjorn, I'll tell my entire life biography later but let me out of the damn cell".

She certainly was in a hurry to get out. You said "Hi pearl, I'm Axel, don't worry we're gonna get you out of here and take you with us". Heather looked at you and said "Are you insane? We don't know who she is? She may be a barbarian for all we know!" You replied "Well we can't leave her here can we? And maybe she knows about this place and could help us!"

"Hellooo, I'm still in this room and can still hear you, I promise I'm not a barbarian and promise that I know a lot of the place, even about its leader". You said "Just do it Heather". She sighed and said "Fine but dont make me regret this". She walked to the lock and broke it using her axe and the door swung open.

Pearl walked out, she was the same height as you and had several daggers attached to her armour as well.

She said "Well finally you decided to let me out, now come on let's leave". Heather said "Wait what about the information you promised?". Pearl looked at her and said "Seriously, here? Any moment a bell's gonna go off since you opened my cage, the security here is no joke, infact the bell should ring any moment now (at that moment a huge bell could be heard striking metal producing sound and alerting everyone) ah there it is".

You said "Okay let's go, before it's too late." You and Heather started to leave but Pearl said "Wait a minute I need to get something". "Now what?" Asked Heather, clearly annoyed by the new girl.

Pearl said nothing but instead took out her sword, it was a Gronckle iron sword and was extremely strong, you could tell because she used it to open the cage in which the Skrill was and break its chains. You shouted "Are you mad! That's a dangerous beast!" Heather replied "Come on let's get out of here."

But to your surprise Pearl petted the Skrill and said "Don't worry Thunder, your safe now, let's get out of here". You gasped in surprise and asked "You also have a dragon!?" Pearl looked over at you and said "Wait you have one too?" Heather said "This is mystifying and all but we need to get out of here, Pearl do you know how to ride that Skrill with passengers?" Pearl hopped onto the dragon and said "Come one, Thunder won't harm you as long as he's not provoked".

You and Heather approached Thunder and Heather jumped on sitting behind Pearl, you than jumped on and landed behind her. Heather said "Come on go! Go! GO!".

Pearl said "Come on Thunder, follow the tunnel and get us out of here".

Thunder roared in agreement and ran through the tunnel, guards had come out the doors that led to the bastion and were chasing us. We reached the cavern and jumped across leaving the hunters to cross the long way. Finally you reached the massive cavern with the way out above you, Thunder raised his wings and flew out into the sky.

Outside the sun had started to set and you had at least 2 hours to make it back. You could hear shouting and dragon cries as the dragons patrolling the skies searched for you 4.

You said "Head to the Northeast part of the island, that's where our dragons are." Heather added "And hurry".

Pearl said "Okay okay, Thunder let's go".

Thunder flew to the Northeastern side if the island where you spotted both Windshear and Stormstriker messing with each other. Thunder quickly landed and you and Heather jumped off and rushed to your dragons, mounting them instantly.

On top of Storm you instantly felt much better. You said "Thank god your okay Storm, I was so worried". Storm growled in confusion. Heather was also saying something to Windshear.

Pearl approached you on Thunder, close-up Storm was twice and big as Thunder And longer as well. Storm growled at the Skrill but you said "Easy girl, they're friends". Pearl stopped infront of Storm and said "Wow, I've never seen a failed titanwing, Razorwhip, or even a normal Razorwhip, what's their names?" Heather came up from behind on Windshear and said "This is Windshear and that is Stormstriker". You said "But you can call her Storm for short".

Pearl nodded and said "Well we should get out of here, lead the way if you will". Heather said "Follow me". And flew off with you and Pearl behind her .

Suddenly infront of you, from the clouds descended a Bluish Blackish coloured Titanwing Skrill which was four times bigger than Thunder. On top of it was none other than the mystery man himself, this time without his cloak and with black armour and a warhammer on his back.

He laughed and said "Well well well, look who it is, we finally meet again, Heather and Axel, it's a pleasure to see you. And Pearl! Leaving so soon? But I wasn't done torturing you yet!. Come on let's head back". You said "Your insane if you think we're coming back with you". Heather also said "Yeah we outnumber you 3 to 1". Pearl said nothing but you could see her shaking in anger and fear, what had this mam done to her?

The man laughed again and said in his deep tone "Ah but the thing is that I have a completely obedient Titanwing Skrill not to mention several years of experience, now who wants to tango first? What about you Axel? Fancy a rematch? Or you Heather, want to avenge your fellow Berserkers? Come on I'm waiting".

Heather shouted in anger and flew towards the man. She fired a blast at him but the man dodged and shot a lightning blast which Heather also dodged. The 2 than flew towards each other intending to ram each other, but you knew that the Titanwing would win due to the immense strength it possessed so you also charged. You rammed into the Skrill's side causing it to miss Heather. The man said "There you go, now the real action can begin!" He than flew towards us firing multiple blasts of lightening which both you and Heather managed to dodge, you both than threw spines at him but they didn't affect the Skrill and just bounced off. The man flew towards you and rammed Storm causing you to almost fall off. Heather tried to rescue you but the man hit Windshear with a lightening blast causing them to stop in pain.

The man said "I told you to run while you could Axel, but you didn't and now, well now you die!" His Skrill opened its mouth and charged up for an electric blast and was about to shoot you when from behind the man was hit directly by an electric blast. It was Pearl, she shouted "You'll never get me again you monster!" She had recovered from the initial shock she had received and started to fly circles around the titanwing confusing it until finally she rammed it with all her strength causing the man and the dragon to fall back to the Island.

You flew to Heather and asked "Are you alright?" She replied "Yeah, just shocked and having a tingling sensation in my body". "Electricity does that to you" interrupted Pearl from behind "Shall we leave please?" You said "Thank you for saving us Pearl". She replied "Its least I could do after you saved me, he was beating the crap out of you two".

Heather said "Still thank you, now come on, back to Dragon's Edge".

She started to fly towards the setting sun and you and Pearl followed her.
