It was about 1 pm when you stopped at a sea stack. Heather had landed there and dismounted. You landed behind her and also dismounted Storm, you said "Why are we stopping here?" She replied "Because just a few miles ahead is the island we have to explore." You said "So what's the plan?".

Heather turned around to face you and said "The island is massive, any inhabitants would be living in the cave system below but that area would be filled with Whispering Deaths, not to mention the Screaming Death as well". You had to make her repeat the last part. "The Screaming death!" You shouted "The most ferocious dragon out there, who eats entire islands for breakfast, who could eat us in one bite! That Screaming Death?!" Heather said "Calm down Axel, like I said the island is massive, the Screaming Death could be in any other cave system and we may never meet, its risky but we'll manage, all you have to do is follow my lead okay?" You calmed yourself down and said "Okay I'm ready, let's do this".

You mounted Storm and flew after Heather. After a few minutes you reached the island, it was massive, much bigger than shown in the series, there were no trees and a huge mountain, the island was filled with sand and there were Whispering Death holes everywhere, as well as several massive holes as big as the crater of the Volcano back at the Egde, probably where the Screaming Death had dug into the ground.

You asked Heather "Which hole do we use?" She replied "We'll have to try all of them, let's start with the Screaming Death hole". You said "Do you want to die?" She said "I'm a Berserker, it's what I do" and with that she dived into the massive hole with you right behind her. The hole was massive, just as wide as the entrance. There were also bio-luminenesant algae which gave a bright glow which helped to see.

You flew up to Heather and said "There's nothing here, thank god the Screaming Death hasn't made an appearance." Heather said "Yes true, we should follow this tunnel all the way until we reach the point where many different tunnels are connected together, from there our actual search will begin."

You 2 flew through the passage and after a few minutes, reached that point. Heather than landed on the ground and you did the same. She said "Now we have to search every tunnel one by one, should we split up or do it together?"

But you didnt pay attention because from behind Heather, from the massive tunnel, you could see red eyes as a huge White head emerged from the tunnel, it was so silent you couldn't believe it, with a horn on its head and a slimmer body behind it, 2 rows of teeth ready to tear through anything, Storm was as at least as big as one of its smaller teeth and even though you were way smaller it could still smell and hear you. It was the most dangerous dragon that was given birth to every 1000 years, a dragon which even Bewilderbeast avoided, the mighty Screaming Death.

Heather still had not noticed the massive dragon as her nacknwas turned to it and she was saying "Hello, can you hear me?" You pointed behind her and stuttered "L-l-look b-b-b-behind you".

She turned around and almost screamed after seeing the beast, Windshear slowly backed up towards you and both her and Storm were growling angrily at the massive creature which surprisingly had not attacked yet.

Heather said 'What do we do, how do we get out of here?". You went through all your knowledge on the Screaming Death and remembered one sentence 'an adult Screaming Death has no weaknesses'.

You said "As quickly as you can take off into one of the smaller Whispering Death passages, I'll distract it and escape through another tunnel and we'll regroup above the island." Heather protested saying "I'm not leaving you alone, it'll get you instantly!" You countered by saying "If you stay here too than you'll also die, do what I'm saying and trust me" She sighed and said "Okay fine but if you die I'll come to Valhalla and punch you".

You were about to reply but were interrupted by the Screaming Death roaring extremely loudly, you covered your ears in pain and Heather quickly made use of the beast being distracted and flew into the tunnels. You also flew into the air above the Screaming Death and stared directly into it's eyes. You than turned around and dived into a different Whispering Death hole.

At first you thought the dragon wouldn't chase you, but than you heard rocks being consumed behind you and risked looking back, behind you the Screaming Death was straight up swallowing the rock and only breaking the larger stalactites. It was slowly catching up to you. You had to find another exit and soon, you saw another Whispering Death passage and flew in but the Beast only turned along with you, following you and getting closer.

This new passage was straighter and wider and allowed Storm to fly at maximum speed. Even than you could hear the Screaming Death right behind you, could feel the warm air it exhaledfrom its massive nostril slots. You kept flying hoping to find an exit but it was just a straight path. The Screaming death was so close to you that you were practically inside it's open mouth with the tongue right below you and the upper jaw still open breaking the rocks.

You than had an idea. You said to Storm "Girl I need you to fly faster than ever before, please". Storm roared in exhaustion but started to fly faster until you were safe again, you kept flying straight and and than suddenly dived towards the ground where there was a small edge where you could hide. You flew in there and the Screaming Death flew straight ahead not even noticing your disappearance. You quickly flew out of the crevice and retraced your steps until you made it out.

You flew high into the sky and spotted Heather on the ground looking the other way. You flew towards her and she turned around after hearing the sound produced by Storm's wings.

She flew upto you and said "Thank Thor your still alive, how'd you escape?" You said "I managed to evade it in the tunnels, what's the plan now?" She replied "While you were down there I spotted 3 hunter ships heading south, I think we should follow them and maybe they'll reveal the location of their base". You said "That's a good idea, come one than".

You were about to fly south to try to find the hunter ships when suddenly the ground below you disappeared and the massive Screaming Death flew up infront of you. You shouted in surprise because of how silently it had appeared. Next to you Heather was also staring at the massive beast. Your dragons were growling at the giant monster which was staring you all dead in the eyes. In the air you could now see the rest of its massive body, it was built like a Whispering death with a massive head and a slightly smaller body as well as massive spikes all over its body. It had relatively small wings however its long tail spun like a propellor which kept it in the air.

You asked Heather without taking your eyes off the beast "What do we do now?" Heather said "There has got to be some weakness we can exploit, anything, did Hiccup teach you anything about the Screaming Death?" You racked your brain again looking for a single piece of knowledge you could use against it. The only weakness that came to mind was how only the boiling water from a scauldron could burn its scales off and make it vulnerable to attack.

You said "I don't know what to do, for now I think flying away is the appropriate response". Heather said "This is not the time for sarcasm, we'll fly towards the Fog and try to lose it there. This time stay together and don't die". You weren't planning on dying so you agreed.

But you 2 couldn't just turn your back to the beast and fly off, luckily the Screaming Death made up its mind for you.

It roared extremely loudly, using its ability to distort other creatures, both Storm and Windshear started to struggle to stay in the air from the effect of the sound. The Screaming Death than fired massive blasts of fire at you.

Both you and Heather quickly dodged right and flew North towards the Fog, it was about 30 minutes away and you could see its outlines. Storm and Windshear had recovered from the shock and were flying as fast as possible while using their tails to shoot spine at the Screaming Death which flew towards you at astonishing speeds.

You and Heather were basically playing a game of cat and mouse with it. It would catch up to you and try to bite you or slam you with it's tail but you would fly up into the sky and back down again. You kept doing this until you were almost at the Fog. Almost.

The Screaming Death had gotten real close and you were about to avoid its bite or tail when it opened its mouth and roared incredibly loudly.

Now at point blank range the effects of the roar were even worse as your brain started to ring and bones began to vibrate. Heather was also facing the same problems.

Your dragons were also not doing well as they fell from the sky and you hit the water, sinking to its depths, you had inhaled air at the last second and that helped but your brain was still ringing and you could not think properly. From above the Screaming Death dived in, mouth wide open ready to skewer you and Heather, your brain was recovering so you couldn't think properly and almost died if it wasn't for Storm who wrapped her tail around Windshear's neck and dived to the left saving all four of you as the Screaming Death swam past hitting the ground with a thud. You had recovered soon after and flew out of the water with Heather behind you, you two wasted no time and quickly flew into the Fog, flew reast for a few miles before finally coming out of it. The Screaming Death was nowhere to be seen.

You sighed in relief and said "That was close, are you alright Heather?" Next to you Heather was also calming down, she said "Yeah I'm fine, that could have been the end of us".

You looked at the sun. You still had many hours before you had to rendezvous back at the Edge so you said "Should we continue the search or return back?" She thought for a moment and said "The ships can't have made it far, we can still catch upto them." You said "Okay than let's go, and no more Death island alright, I don't wanna mess eith that monster again". She said "Me neither, let's go".

You followed her as she led the way to where she last saw the ships. After flying for at least 45 minutes you spotted 3 hunter ships in the ocean below. You said "There down there, what should we do?" Heather quickly looked at the ships and than said "The clouds are giving us cover so we should stay here and follow them and not engage". You said "Okay but these ships could be going anywhere, they could be going away from the base for all we know" She said "It's a risk I'm willing to take". "Fine than let's see where they take us" you replied.

Below you the 3 ships were moving at a fast pace, way faster than normal ships, you flew a little lower and saw that they had attached chains to several Scauldrons and were forcing them to take them, these scauldrons also had the same expressionless features. You said "Heather look they're using scauldrons, and I'm guessing they made them drink that dragon-controllong elixir as well". Heather also flew a little lower to check it out and came back up, she said "Yeah they're also several Whispering Deaths flying around the ships guarding them. I just can't believe how that man created those elixirs to control these dragons". You also didn't know the answer, you said "Let's stay hidden, we don't want those dragons discovering us.

You followed the ships for at least 2 hours before they docked at a massive island, this island was absolutely massive with half of it covered with forests and the other half a village, no not a village, a military base and where the ships had docked you could see at least 70 more.

You said "This must be the base where that mystery man is hiding, come on let's return to the Edge and tell the others". Heather however, said "No we need more information, and I want revenge for the men these hunters killed". You "That's too dangerous, we need to get out of here, look around, there are dragons patrolling the skies, land and sea, we'll never make it". She said "We have to try, for it to be a true scouting mission we need to find the location of all the defenses and sabotage a few things" You sighed in defeat and said "Fine, but I've never heard of that kind of stealth mission". She grinned and said "I'm a Berserker, it's our tradition, we'll have to enter from the Northeast of the island, see over there (she pointed to the back-left side of the island) there, there is a large cover of trees for miles and I pretty sure no one's there."

You 2 flew high above crossing the entire island, in 4 minutes you landed at the Northeast side, where as Heather predicted, no one was there.

Heather dismounted from Windshear amd said "We'll have to go on foot from here, our dragons may be found and won't be easy to hide, you did bring your axe right?" You said "Yes but I'm not leaving Storm here, it's dangerous for both the dragons and us". Heather countered "Storm and Windshear will be fine, so will we, I survived several years in places like these before meeting Windshear". You sighed, dismounting Storm and said "Listen girl, I'm going with Heather to scout out more of the enemy base, you stay here with Windshear and do not fight or kill anything, okay?" Storm grunted in agreement and you walked to where Heather was standing. She asked "Are you ready?" You looked back at Storm and Windshear who were messing with each other and said "Yep, let's go".

So you and Heather walked into the forest, not knowing that this island was chosen by the mystery man because of the ferocious dragons that lived in its forests and that you 2 were walking into certain death.
