Purgatory

Oliver has spent the last two months learning about his new Spector powers with Robbie Reyes.

"What did you see?" Robbie asks.

"Everything. I see everything now." Oliver tells him.

"Then you're ready." Robbie sees. "Every fight, every punch you've thrown, every kick you've landed, every show you've fired, they have all led you here to this moment, to the ultimate fight."

"Who am I fighting?" Oliver asks.

"The Anti-Monitor." Robbie says and they start walking.

"Th Monitor's adversary." Oliver understands.

"Not just adversary. A being who stands against all there ever was or will be, the only reason I'm here is because making a deal with the devil gives me an excuse to jump to places nobody else can travel to. The apocalypse itself given life and form and terrible purpose."

"How do I beat him?" Oliver asks.

"It's time we collect the Paragons." Robbie says and takes his chain and starts to open a portal for him. "I look forward to see how this plays out."

"Than you, Robbie." Oliver says and leaves through the portal.

Vanishing Point

"This is Agent S mission log...I have no idea who I'm leaving this for. Force of habit, maybe it just brings a peace to mind. The multiverse is dead, everyone I love and know are all dust. Just like my dreams tried to warn me about, everyone and everything that was or would be is no more. In every reality, in every dimension. It's been I think two months since the death of the multiverse, it's kinda hard to tell when you're in a place that exists outside time and space. I wonder if this is how Tony felt when he was in space after Thanos. And me, I'm supposed to be the Paragon of Humanity. One of the seven who are supposed to be the last hope to save the multiverse. But now, everything has changed." Peter writes down.

Sara is staring off into space. "The Paragon of Destiny doesn't believe in tomorrow." Peter keeps writing.

Kate is just training in an open area. "The Paragon of Courage spends days training for the fight yet to come. She's pretty good, I taught her a few things and she taught me some things."

J'onn is sitting while meditating. "The Paragon of Honor just meditates for most of the day."

Kara is carrying what's left of Clark's destroyed cape. "The Paragon of Hope, who has been dating one of my doppelgängers and is pregnant, has lost her hope. Apparently in this place, her pregnancy was frozen, and that was kinda a blessing. Imagine being stuck in a environment with someone like that."

"And if I'm not training with the Batwoman, I'm spending my time repurposing the tech in this place to get out with this bald man, Lex Luther. Narcissist, sociopath, evil genius, a few of the many words to describe him. I prefer the most easy word the most descriptive; douchbag. As for the last of the Paragons, Barry Allen, the Paragon of Love, who was friends with another one of my doppelgängers, died trying to stop the antimatter wave then was replaced by Daisy Johnson. Luckily, this iron suit Tony left me is based off of the arc reactor so it's not running out of power anytime soon for when the battle comes. If it ever comes."

"What you guys building modern art now?" Daisy asks as they see the two geniuses attempt at a teleportation device.

"Hey, guys, we've repurposed this leftover Time Master technology. Douchbag and I think we've retrofitted it into a functional teleportation device." Peter says as he powers it up.

"To teleport us where exactly?" Kate wonders.

"She has a point. There is no...there out there." J'onn agrees.

"It's the best we've got, we just don't know if it works." Lex tells them.

"So we send somebody to test it." Sara guesses.

"I'll go." J'onn offers.

"No." Kara stops him. "We've lost too many good people already. Thanks for volunteering, Lex."

Lex looks around, confused and realizes what she said. "Well, that's very cold. Is it because I killed your parallel reality cousin?"

"Start it up." Daisy says and Lex gets to the center and Peter starts to power it up.

"If this works..." Sara starts, not knowing what they're going to do.

"We get out of here, we defeat the Anti-Monitor, and we find a way to get all the people we lost back." Kara finishes for her.

The teleporter starts off and sparks start flying in multiple directions as it dies instantly.

"Perhaps it was too much to hope for." J'onn guesses.

"Is there some way you can get it to work?" Kara asks them.

"It was a long shot to begin with." Lex states.

"There has to be a way out of here." Daisy states, getting annoyed.

"To go where exactly?" Sara asks.

"The Quantum realm?" Peter guesses. "I remember that place can't be destroyed or moved like antimatter."

"Sadly, we don't have any Pym particles to get us there." Daisy comments and reminded him.

"It's better than just staying here." Peter says. "We could maybe fashion some tech into a time machine instead of a teleporter."

"Maybe you're right. Maybe the Quantum realm is our best hope." Kara guesses.

"It is." A deep voice says and they all look to face the new person and are shocked to see none other than Oliver Queen. "The Quantum realm is the key to saving you. It's the key to saving everyone."

"Oliver?" Everyone asks.

"Yes and no. It's complicated." Oliver answers.

"Lovin' the new suit." Daisy comments. "Very Sith Lord."

"I am Oliver Queen, but I'm also something more." Oliver tells them. "Some might call me a ghost, a specter that's in tune with the entire multiverse."

"So there's still a multiverse out there?" Peter asks.

"No, it's gone. Replaced with its antithesis." Oliver informs him.

"An antimatter universe." Kara sees.

"Which we need to prevent from happening." Oliver continues. "Right now, the Anti-Monitor is at the dawn of time, fighting to make permanent his destruction of worlds."

"Then we go there, and we end him." Kate states.

"He's extremely powerful. The eight of us might not be enough." Oliver tells them. "We need a backup plan."

"You have our attention." J'onn assures him.

"Several millennia ago on a planet named Maltus, Mar Novu attempted to travel to the birth of the universe but instead opened a breach to the antimatter universe." Oliver explains.

"So the Monitor gave us the Anti-Monitor." Lex clarifies.

"So while some of us fight at the dawn of time, others must go to Maltus." Oliver tells them the plan.

"And prevent Novu from freeing his doppelgänger. I'm in." Kara says.

"Travel to an alien world? I've had my fill of those. But saving the multiverse? I'm in." Peter tells them.

"Same." Lex agrees and Kara looks to him, not liking him coming. "Come on. You know you don't want to risk letting me out of your sight for even a millisecond."

"We can get to both through the Quantum realm, but we can't do it." Daisy says. "It's connected throughout time and space."

"Don't worry. You trust me?" Oliver asks them.

"Are you Oliver Queen?" Sara asks.

"Yes." Oliver answers.

"Then I trust you." Sara tells him.

"Good." Oliver says before he starts making what looked like Strange's magic and opens portals for them and they vanish through them.

Maltus

The tree exit the portal and go flying as Kara catches Peter but leaves Lex to go flying across the forest.

"Thanks for the kind assist." Lex says sarcastically as he gets back up.

Peter retracts his mask and looks around the forest. "Gonna be honest, I expected something more to another alien world."

"Let's focus." Kara asks of them. "Mar Novu could be anywhere, and it's not like we can just do an internet search for him."

"Maybe we can." Peter says looking towards the city clear in the distance. "Any city that big must have a bureaucracy. Meaning they must have some of central data bank to function. Find that, we can find the Monitor before he becomes...the Monitor."

"That's not a bad idea. Seems Peter's brain is a dimensional trait." Kara compliments him. "Lex..." She was saying when she looks and sees he's gone. "Where's Lex?"

You can't let the man out of your sight for a second.

Lex is walking away whistling as Kara flies down to find him.

"What do you think you're doing?" Kara asks him.

"What you should have done the moment fleet feet dropped us off here. Checked out the lay of the land, looked for hidden dangers." Lex tells her and keeps walking and Kara follows him. "We are on an alien world. Any number of chest busters or predators could be lying in wait. Don't you capes ever watch a movie?"

"You know what? Whatever it is you're planning, I'm gonna figure it out, and...I'm gonna stop you." Kara promises as she walks in front of him.

"I doubt that, your partner slash boyfriend being dead caused you to start thinking...not exactly rational. In a contest of mind over muscle, mind wins every time, but here. Let me make it easy for you." Lex offers to her. "Ask me what I'm up to."

Kara decides to bite and play along. "What are you up to, Lex?"

"Universal domination, of course." Lex says before blasting her, rendering her unconscious. "Oh, I probably should have mentioned that I gave myself a few upgrades after Norman was done with the Book of Destiny." He informs the unconscious hero when Peter swings through the forest and sees them.

"Hey! What are you doing?!" Peter asks as he swings over to them.

"I'm getting tired of answering that question." Lex says and goes to blast Peter, but he simply dodged the attack.

Peter goes to shoot him with a taser web, but Lex grabs the web and sends the shock back at Peter, sending him flying backwards into a tree, rendering him unconscious as well.

"Moving on." Lex says as he leaves.

Later on, Peter wakes up and quickly runs over to Kara.

"Supergirl? You okay?" Peter asks as he leaps over to her side as she starts waking up.

"Peter?" Kara asks.

"Yeah, it's me. I think Lex pulled a Luther on us." Peter says as they get up and Kara searches him for injuries.

"No broken bones. You'll be fine." Kara assures him.

"Thanks. Now we need to find Lex." Peter says and the two start walking towards the city. "You know where he might be?"

"Before he knocked me out, he said he was looking for universal domination, so..." Kara replies. "And if I know him, he's looking to mess with Novu's experiment, change history to his advantage."

"God, I see why you and my doppelgänger hate him." Peter says.

"You really have no idea." Kara agrees and she stops with an idea. "I'm guessing you haven't flown on an alien planet."

"Actually, I did swing around a planet with an alien moon falling while saving unconscious Galaxy Guardians." Peter tells her when she grabs his shoulder. "Wait, what are you doing?"

Kara holds onto him and takes off into the sky.
