Hellow my blueberrys! Sorry about the late update but I had a bit of difficulty making sure the times matched up...sort of. Also a lot od editing cause this isover 3'800 words... anyway let's get right into this chapter now shall we?

"Juvia we need to talk to you immediately. Its very im-" as Luna tryed to explain that she needed to speak with Juvia, she interrupted her. "I'm very sorry but it'll have to wait. Its nice to see you guys again but, I need to see Wendy right away." Juvia apologized before walking away to look for Wendy.

Luna signed before turning to Stella to discuss somethings with her.

Rogue was confused to say the least. He had never seen these woman before. Were they new members? Freinds of the guild? Who knew. Rogue shook these thoughts out of his head, he could find out about that later, but now he needed to go with Juvia.

They found Wendy not long after leaving Luna and Stellas presence. She was standing infront of the infirmary with Carla.

"Juvia! Good your here. Lets get you checked right away." Wendy smiled as she grabbed Juvias hand and brought her inside.

Rogue didn't know if he should go inside or if he should stay in the guild hall. He was intruding enough on her so it would be a bit over bearing if he would go in with her. But, the only reason he is here is so that he could find out what was going on with her.

Rogue sighed, deciding that he was going to stay in the guild hall and not be a pest to Juvia any longer. He looked around the guild, in search of someone to talk too so that he could occupy himself.

"Hey, Frosch? Who do you..." Rogues voice trailed off once he saw that his exceed friend had left his side. Rogue sighed. He knew how the little fur balls curiosity would often over come him and that he was more than likely playing with something or just simply looking around the guild. Rogue looked around for him.

"Excuse me? Rogue?" Someone asked from behind him. The suddenness of the voice caused him to jump slightly. He turned around and saw a white haired girl standing behind him. "Sorry but...who are you?" He asked her. "Sorry about that. I forgot we havent properly met before. im Lissana. I'm a f--...um I mean I know Lucy and Juvia. If you're looking for your exceed then he's with Juvia in the infirmary"

How did he not notice him going inside?

"Oh...thanks..." Rogue thanked her. "Dont mention it. But, I do need to talk to you about something really important" Lissana said, suddenly becomeing serious. The girl seemed as if she was usually happy most of the time so, even Rogue could sense the change in her damener.

Rogue nodded and followed her to a near by table. "So, What did you need to talk to me about?" Rogue asked. "Its about Lucy. Is she doing Ok? I know that its a bit of a streatch asking you this but if you're with Juvia then you must have at least seen Lucy. I didn't get to talk to her much when she visited last time because of some...reasons" Lissana explained.

"Well, we don't really talk much but she's fine. She seems happy at least. Her and Sting seem to get along pretty well" Rogue chuckled as he remember what Sting had told him and Lector last night. "So her Sting are close, huh? SHE'S also doing well, Thats good to hear. What about Juvia?"

Rogue stiffened at the topic. "Um...that's a bit difficult to answer. She hasn't told me what's going on but, she looks like she's in pain. I guess that's why she's here to see Wendy" Rogue told her. Lissana looked very troubled about this.

"Is something wrong?" Rogue asked, a bit confused about her current expression.

"I...I- um.. I can't say. All I can do is give you a few words of warning." She shook her head. "Words of warning?" Rogue questioned. She nodded. "Something is coming and it's really bad. Lucy and Juvia need to be protected from it or else there's no telling what will happen. So you need to promise me for their sake, that both you and Sting will protect Lucy and Juvia. No matter what happens you don't ever let anything hurt them. Me and Lucy aren't on the best of terms considering what I did to her. She says That she forgives me but I don't think she does. Juvia to, I called both of them somethings I didn't mean... This is the least I can do for them! All I can do is simply ask you for this favor even though we just met. Just please protect them..." Lissana said as tears brimmed her eyes.

"Why would-" she cut him off. "I'm sorry but I can't say anything else. I'm basicly risking everything just telling you this much. So, Please Rogue...you may think that you wont beable to but, trust me you can! Just...please I'm begging you with everything in me. Protect them!" She sobbed.

This shocked Rogue to a new level. Why was this girl asking him and Sting to protect them? What was so bad that both him and Sting would need to protect the girls from? Their already stronger then the both of them! But whatever it is. It must be pretty bad.

"Ok...I promise" Rogue finally agreed. "Really!? Thank you!" She smiled as she whipped her tears away. Rogue nodded and smiled slightly.

When she finished drying her tears araines eyes and got up. Lissana was about to walk away when she remembered something. "Another thing Rogue. You mustn't tell anyone, except Sting, about what I have told you. Also, Thank you for being there for Juvia. I can tell you care about her and this makes me happier than anything! And anither thing, please tell Lucy I'm sorry for everything when you see her again" she smiled sweetly before running off.

"I guess I do..." he mumbled to him self as he thought about when the white haired girl had said.

As Juvia walked into the infirmary, she noticed something brush against her leg. She looked down and once again was met with the pink costume that belonged to the green exceed. "Frosch, why are you in here?" Juvia asked him as she bent down and picked him up. "Frosch doesnt know!" He giggled. Juvia slightly smiled at him as she shook her head and sat him back down, allowing him to explore the room.

"Ok Juvia! Time to get down to buissness! Ill start with a scan and we will continue from there! I also told Poralosia about your situation after you called, so she should be here shortly. Its just in case I can't figure it out." Wendy smiled. "That sounds good, but can you give me a pain killer please? The one I took wore off a while ago." Juvia asked.

"Sure. Just give me a second" she nodded as she went to go look for the pain killers.

As Wendy went on her mini search Juvia played with her moon pendant. It hasnt lit up recently and it kinda worried her. She didnt want to be cursed anymore, she wanted to be able to love and feel love. but, as long as their are dark spaces on the moon she will never feel the warmth of a loves embrace

"OK I have them. Lets get started shall we?" Wendy pulled her out of her thoughts when she came back with a bottle of water and 2 pills in her hand.

Juvia nodded in response and took the items from her hand. "Carla, can you please watch
Frosch for me and make sure he doesn't play with something he shouldnt?" Juvia asked the strict white exceed. "I suppose I could" she agreed and walked over to frosch as He played with a tounge depressed and waved it around. Juvia smiled a bit at the cute sight. It lifter her spirits a little considering her situation.

"Lay down on the examination bed and I'll start with your scan" Wendy instructed and Juvia promptly did as told.

The room was quiet. Not a singel sound was made nor words spoken, allowing Wendy to concentrate to her fullest extent. She was fully focused on helping her dear sister and wanted to make sure she did her best. But, this was a bit more difficult then expected. Each time Wendy would wave her hand over Juvias chest, she would feel something blocking her magic from sensing what was going on. It was almost as if it was repelling her.

"That's odd..." Wendy murmured to her self as she focused all her magic onto Juvias chest.

A few momments later, Wendy suddenly retracted her hands from over her chest. Her eyes grew wide as she did so. "That shouldn't be possible...th-that can't be right" Wendy stuttered. She couldnt believe what she had just come across.

"What Is it Wendy?" Juvia asked the sky dragon slayer. "I...I don't exactly know how to put this but...there's something attatched to your heart. Its sucking away your life force..." Wendy said in disbelief.

"What-" that was the only thing that was allowed to leave her mouth before she suddenly became over whelmed with the feeling that her heart had stop beating. Her eyes widened and Just then, she was lerched forward as the pain shot through her heart, seemilgly starting it back up.

Unable to hold back anymore, she let out her tortured screems as she was thrown back in agony. It felt as if the pain had been increased from before. Her bone chilling screems was even heard outside the doors of the infirmary.

The sudden out burst startaled Wendy, catching her off guard. She just staired at the girl as she thrashed and screened.

Froach on the other hand was mortified. He looked at Juvia as she screemed, in total shock. He felt tears brim his eyes. Frosch didn't know what was going on but what he did know was he didnt like it at all. "C-carla...what's wrong with Juvia? Why is Juvia doing that?" Frosch said as he suggested on her arm. But, she was paralyzed as well. She didn't talk or do anything, she just started. Frosch did his best not to cry but...someone so small...can only be so strong...

Suddenly the doors were thrown open and a few people came in. They we're lead by Poralosia and she was followed by Levy, Luna, and Stella. Followed by Mira soon after. Once the door opened, Frosch ran out crying with his little paws trying their best to wipe away his fallen tears as he called our for Rogue.

"Whats going on!?" Poralosia demanded. The girls just watched on in horror as they saw Juvia thrash around in torment. "I-i dont know. She just started screeming After I told her that their was something on her heart." Wendy tried to explain as tears brimmed her eyes. "I-i dont know what to do...please help her!" Wendy begged.

The old woman looked at her before going over to Juvia and rummaging a through her bag. She pulling out a syringe filled with clear blue liquid. "Hold her down" she simply said to the girls. "But-" Levy opened her mouth to speak and only got a word out before Poralosia cut her off.

"Do you what her to get better or not!?" She barked at her. Levy looked down at her feet. "Its going to be fine Levy. We're helping her, Not harming her. Besides someone special needs to see her happy as healthy again" Mira assured her with a cheerful smile as she walked over to Juvia and held down her arms. Levy nodded and held down her feet. Wendy just watchd along with Luna, Stella, and Carla.

Being as petite as she was the task proved to be a bit difficult but she managed to subdue her. Poralosia shoved the seringe into her neck and slowly but surely she began to stop her screeming and thrashing as the liquid drained into her.

As she stopped ber screeming and thrashing and lied still on the bed, breathing heavily. Tears began to drip from the cornors of her eyes. As she looked beyond the doors which had been opened by some curios member of the guild. As it began to close due to their receeding interest. She looked beyond the doors only to see Rogue. They locked eyes as the salty tears ran down her cheeks and the door closed she closed her eyes, drifting off in to a drug induced slumber.

"I'm going to need some privacy so you humans need to get out!" Poralosia barked at them. "But we need to be here for her! I'm not leav-" Levy was Interupted by Mira this time. "Levy it's alright It won't do Juvia any good if we stay here and interrupted Poralosia as she works" Mira told the short blunette as took Wendy's hand and pulled her out along with her. "Mira! But I--what if--OK fine!" she gave up her mini proteast and follows the bar maid back out.

"Luna-Chan, what do we do now!? It looks like they already got to her!" Stella whisper/shouted at Luna. "I'm not sure. but, I don't think they have her yet. The process might not be completed yet." Luna explained to her.

"You two! I need to speak with you" Poralotia told the two, interuoting their conversation. "I have a feeling you have something to do with this"

"We would never do anything to hur-" Luna cut of the blonde "Stella please." Luna said to her before looking back at poralosia

"We don't have anything to do with this, But we do think we know what's going on" Luna said. "Care to explain then?"

"So you see...."

Rogue was sitting at a table in the guild hall by himself. Although he didn't feel lonely. He was deep in his thoughts and didn't even seen to notice that he was by himself.

"Rogue? You're hear as well?" Someone asked, pulling him out of his thoughts. Rogue looked up to see the friendly resident bar maid, Mirajane.

"Oh, hello Mira." Rogue greeted her. She smiled sweetly and took a seat next to him. "It seems you have something on your mind. Would you like to talk about it?" Mira asked. "Its nothing really." He said dismissivly.

"Its fine Rogue. You can tell me" she assured him. "It really isn't anything Mira" he shook his head. "Oh come on please, tell me!" She pleaded. Rogue sighed. "You won't leave me alone till I yell you...will you?"

"Nope!" She smiled. "...it's about what someone told me earlier. Its been bothering me a lot" he confessed. Mira lited her head. "Who told you what?" She questioned. "This white haired girl named Lissana came up to me a while ago...and told me something a bit disturbing. She Also seemed really worried her self" Rogue went on.

"Lissana? What did my sister tell you?" Mira asked. "Your sister?" He looked at her, confused. "Yes she's my sister" She nodded. Rogue looked at the woman next to him. "Now that you say it, you do look alike" he admitted.

"Thank you. Now please continue." Mira propped him to go on. "I can't go into specifics, but she basicly said that we need to protect the girls" Rogue told her. "The girls? we? And why can't you go into specifics?" Mira asked, looking at him suspiciously. "She asked me not to tell anyone but Sting the rest. So, I'm kind of disobeying what she told me. And by the girls,I mean Juvia and Lucy, and by we I mean me and Sting" he explained.

"It must be serious if she doesn't want any one else to know...I guess I won't pry any further then. I do have to wonder if it has anything to do with those two woman who showed up asking for them and Master. Anyway, if she told you two to protect them then I expect that you do so. Am I understood?" Mira glared at the man. "Understood" he laughed nervously.

"Good." She said as she returned to her happy dameaner. Rogue exhaled in relief.

"But, I can tell that something is still on your mind." Mira taunted. "There isn't. Thats everything" Rogue shook his head.

That was a lie if anybody ever heard one. Both he and Mira knew damn well that their was still more. Rogue just didn't want to admit that he was thinking about it.

"Rogue I can stay hear all day and night argueing with you. We both know that that isn't the truth so please just get on with it because we both know that I will get it out of you sooner or later" Mira told him. Rogue Simply sighed

"There was something else that Lissana told me.." said. "And what was that?" Mira asked. "She said that she can tell that I care about Juvia" he blushed slightly as she looked away from the take over mage.

"Oh really~" she cooed as she smiled widely. "She really is my sister then..." Mira mumbled. "What was that?" Rogue asked. "Oh nothing~ just continue~" she cherpwed.

"Well, it's been bothering me because I don't know what she means by that. I mean we're friends so I obviously care about her...although now I'm not too sure about the friends part..." he hung his his head as he went on.

"Why would you say that?" Mira asked. "Last night...she said that I was hurting her...and that she hated me..." Rogue sorrowfuly said. "Oh my..." Mira gasped. "Were you trying to hurt her?"

"Of course not! I wouldn't dare hurt Juvia!" He snapped. "Ok Ok. Calm your self, I know tiu wouldnt I just wanted to see what you'd say. Why'd you get so defensive when o asked?" She chuckled. "Sorry... I just don't like the thought of her getting hurt...and to think that I would have done something to her just pisses me off!" he told her.

"I see~ so you really care about her, huh~" she smirked. Rogue looked at the mage suspiciously as he nodded slightly. "Well I only have a few more questions then! Why do you care so much and why did you follow her here?" Mira asked, seemingly overjoyed about the situation.

"Well...I care so much because I know she been through a lot and I can tell she's hurting inside. When she smiles I can tell that it's not genuine. I just want her to know that since she joined Sabertooth, we're family now...and that she can rely on us. But, she doesn't seem to know that." Rogue ranted on. "Very very interesting! Please go on!" Mira happily hummed.

Rogue took a deep breath and continued. "To answer your other question, I followed her because I wanted to know what was going on. Also because she was coming here alone and I didn't want her to be by herself in her current condition." he finished.

"I see, I see~" Mira clapsed her hands together joyfully. "Well the only explanation is that you-" suddenly, Mira was cut off as someone threw open the guild doors. Everyone looked to the front of the guild as they watched as Poralosia stepped in.

Her mean and strict expression still present on her face and her dameanee was scarier then ever. She walked into the guild and over to Makarovs office.

"Well that was unexpected...anyway! Like is was saying before, the obvious thing is that you l-" yet again, Mira was interupted. But this time...it was by a lot less unesy sound.

A bone curtailing screen was set ringing through out the guild. it made everyone stop what they we're doing and question what it was. It was so loud and agonizing that It sounded like it wasn't even human.

But, the thing that made rogues blood run cold...was the fact that it seemed to be coming from the infirmity. He immediately stood up along with some other people arind the guild and Poralosia cane of Makarovs office.

He marched over to the infirmary door and was about to throw it open when he was suddenly held back. "Rogue stop!" They yelled. He looked behind him and say Mira. "Mira let me go!" He barked. "Rogue, you do not want to go in their. If
It is Juvia who's screeming then considering what you just told me, seeing her like that could probably break you!" Mira explained to him.

"You're being dramatic. Now let me go!" He tried to loosesn her grip but still couldn't break free. "OK I may be a little, but still you can't go in! You seeing her like that is just going to be hard for you! Your not doing any good going in. Ill go in and cheak on her. You stay here" Mira commanded him.

Rogue knew that she was right, it didn't make him not what to go in any less though. Although he still nodes his head in agreement just when Poralosia came pushing passes us along with the Levy and the other two mysterious girls.

"Good, we'll continue or little chat when I come out!" Mira smiles as she went in with the old hag.

Rogue sighed and was about to then around when he heard someone tell his name. He turned back around only to see his exceed friend crying as he ran towards him. Rogue bent down and caught him is arms as he lundged in to his arms. "What Wrong Frosch? He asked him and he rubbed his his head. "S-somethings w-wrong with Juvia. And F-frosch doesn't kn-know what it is!" the little fur ball cried, still trying his best to dry his eyes.

Rogue looked at him with soft eyes as he stood up with him in his arms. "R-Rogue? Whats wrong with her?" Frosch sniffled. Rogeue strocked his head as he looked at the infirmary door. A few guild members where peeping in as they slightly pushes open the door. As they left the door, quickly gaining disinterest in what was going on, he cought a glimpse of some one looking at him. As he looked a bit closer he could see that if was Juvia. They locked eyes and Rogue could clearly see tears spill from her deep sea blue orbs. "I really do wish I knew, Frosch" he said as the door closed seperating them...
