~Lucy's POV~

We we're standing outside Fairy tail, and I was nervous again. What would they think of me? I grabbed happy and held him in my arms. Holding Happy seemed to be one of my habits when I was nervous.

"Blondie, there's nothing to worry about," Laxus says, sensing my uneasiness.

"Yeah, Lucy! This is Fairytail! Plus if Natsu does anything, he'll have me to deal with!" Happy says. I laughed and patted his head.

"You guys are right!" I chirped, before pushing open the doors.

~Normal POV~

The door slammed against the wall, getting everyone in Fairytail's attention.

Wendy's eyes watered and she pulled Romeo over to Lucy.

"Lucy-nee!" She exclaimed, hugging her.

"Wendy!" Lucy says, squeezing her back.

"Romeo! You're so big!" Lucy says, pulling him into the hug. Romeo blushes.

"Lucy-nee" He exclaims in embarrassment.

Juvia, Levy, Gajeel, Charla, Pantherlily, and the Thunder God Tribe ran over.

"Laxus-sama!" Freed yells, grinning so hard it looks painful.

Happy, goes over to Charla and Pantherlily, chatting about their adventure.

"It's nice to see you Lucy," Evergreen said.

"It's good to see you too!" Lucy said, smiling at her.

"LU-CHAN! I have so much to tell you!" Levy yelled, giving her a bear hug.

"Oh, Levy-chan, me too!" Lucy said. Gajeel just stood beside Levy, smiling.

"Nice to see you Metal head! When you're ready, we'll have that spar you wanted," Lucy says, smirking mischeivously.

"Gihi. Sounds like fun, Bunny-girl," He replied chuckling.

Lucy then noticed Juvia standing off to the side, looking uncomfortable.

She walked over to Juvia and gave her a hug.

"L-Lucy-chan?" Juvia asked in surprise.

"I'm really happy to see you! It's been too long Juvia!" Lucy says, smiling at her. Juvia blushes and gives a smile in return.

"Yes, Juvia missed you very much!" Juvia exclaims.

Lucy then noticed the Master coming downstairs due to the noise.

"What's going on?" He asked gruffly. He stopped mid-step when he spotted Lucy, Laxus, and Happy.

"Lucy!" He yells, hugging her. She sweatdrops at his waterfall tears, and pats his back akwardly.

"Hi, master! How have you been? Has the guild been giving you trouble?" Lucy asks, glaring at the staring mages.

"Don't they always?" Master says before releasing her to go give Laxus a hug.

Lucy sits down at the bar, Juvia and Wendy at her side.

"So Lucy-chan, how was your training?" Juvia asked.

"Good! I learned a new magic!"

Mira walks over to Lucy, wanting to apologise for ignoring her before.

"Lucy?" Mira asks, giving her a guilty smile.

"Yes, Mira?" Lucy asks kindly.

"I would like to apologise for my actions. I'm sorry I stopped talking to you after Lisanna returned... I know you can never forgive me, but know I'm sincerely sorry" Mira says, nearly in tears.

Lucy looks at Mira in sympathy. Mira was one of the first people she forgave. She got up and gave Mira a hug. Mira's eyes widened in shock.

"Of course I forgive you. You're one of my best friends!" Lucy says, making Mira finally lose her cool. Mira sobs loudly and clutches Lucy to her chest.

"Thank you so much!" Mira exclaims.

Lucy smiles and rubs her back until all that's left of her sobs is cute little sniffles.

Mira smiles apologeticly, before heading back to the bar.

"Mira! We should hang out sometime!" Lucy says. Mira grins and nods, heading back to work. Juvia had gone to talk to Gajeel and Levy, while Wendy was with Romeo and Charla.

Lucy sits at the bar with Happy, talking with Mira. Suddenly, Mira stopped talking, staring at something behind Lucy.

Lucy turned around and saw something heartbreaking.

Team Natsu had just returned from a mission. Natsu had his arm around Lisanna, Gray was silently walking and Erza was talking to Lisanna.

Everyone in the guild went quit, waiting for the drama to enfold.

The first to notice Lucy was Gray. He raced over to her.

"Lucy!" He says, before crushing her into a hug. At first, Lucy didn't know how to respond.

"Hey, Gray," She says, before reluctantly wrapping her arms around him

Secretly, Gray was looking for Lucy. He knew she left the guild. It was obvious after what they did. He regretted it all, and wished he could make things right.

"Where were you? I was looking everywhere!?" Gray exclaimed, catching the attention of Natsu and Erza.

"Laxus, Happy and I joined a guild called Raging Blossoms. I trained for a year, and learned a new magic!" Lucy says happily.

"I'm sorry about what happened before....I was an idiot and I regret it," Gray says looking anywhere but at Lucy.

"I forgive you. You don't need to feel bad anymore. It's all in the past," Lucy says, not noticing the eyes staring at her.

Natsu stares. He can hear Lisanna babbling, but none of the words stick. She's back...Luce. He missed her so much. He started worrying about her when she hadn't returned in four months. What kind of mission did she take? But Gramps told him not to worry, and that she was fine.

But she was back. Natsu saw Gray hug her, and felt a weird possessive feeling bubble in him.

Erza was next, approaching the blond.

"Lucy! I'm ashamed of my actions. I'm a horrible friend, and guild mate!" Erza exclaimed slamming Lucy's head into her armoured chest. Lucy rubbed her aching head.

"..It's ok Erza! I'm not mad at you anymore, I've forgiven you!" Lucy says, making Erza tear up.

"From now on, consider me your best friend!" Erza says, before sitting beside her.

From across the guild, an annoyed Levy yells.

"Lu-chan's my best friend! Back off!"

"Lucy-chan is Juvia's best friend!"

"No, she's mine," Mira chimes in, laughing.

Lucy sweatdrops, backing away from them.

"Luce?" Natsu asks quietly, walking away from Lisanna and over to her.

"O-Oh hi Natsu. How are you?" She stutters, holding Happy again. Natsu could see Happy glaring at him.

"Good! I just wanted to say sorry. To the both of you," Natsu says, oddly nervous.

Lucy grins. She puts Happy down, making the cat scowl. She gives Natsu a gentle hug, making the pink haired dragon slayer blush.

"It's ok, I missed you a lot! We really need to go on a mission together," Lucy chimes, not noticing the distrustful look Happy was giving Natsu.

Yeah...we do!" Natsu yells. At least one of them forgave him.

"Listen up brats! I'm going to announce the nominees for the S-class trials! They'll be taking place on Fairytail's sacred ground, Tenrou Island!" Makarov yells, getting everyone's attention.

"Natsu Dragneel! Gray Fullbuster! Elfman Strauss! Juvia Lockser! Freed Justine! Levy Mcgarden! Cana Alberona! And Lucy Heartfilia!"

"I will only be choosing one of the eight. But you each are allowed a partner!"

Everyone has their own reactions. But Lucy's was the best.

"YASSSSS QUEEN! YOU SUCKERS WATCH ME WIN!!"
