A/N- Lucy's outfit (: (ignore the purple hair)

"Why do we have to wear these ridiculous outfits, Erza? Lucy isn't!" Natsu complained, tugging at his lilac Fairy tail outfit.

"Master wants us all to wear them, Natsu. Lucy just refused, even though Mira and I tried to force her," Erza said, with a glare towards Lucy, who was grinning innocently.

"Lucy, wear it! If I'm going to suffer then so are you!" Natsu ordered, magically pulling out the outfit master made for her.

"Dude, as if. I'd rather shoot myself in the foot than have to match with you guys," Lucy retorted, with a snicker.

"But we'll all look like idiots if we don't all match!" Gray exclaimed.

"We already do look like idiots. Every one hates Fairy tail if you didn't know. Why give them another reason to hate us? Plus, that outfits way too purpley for me. I mean hellooo? I may not be the old Lucy, but I wouldn't be caught dead in that thing. I should blowtorch it later," Lucy burst out, making Gray laugh.

"True, it is kind of ugly," Natsu agreed.

"Even if it is ugly, Master wants us to wear it. So, unless you want to be on my bad side, wear it," Erza boomed. Gray and Natsu clung to each other in fear, nodding their heads rapidly, while Lucy scowled.

"I already told you, no. Plus, I like my outfit right now. Just let me wear this Erza-chan! I'll get you some strawberry cake later!" Lucy said sweetly. She knew she won when she saw the hesitant look in Erza's eyes.

"Deal," Erza said with a happy glow. Lucy fist bumped herself.

"Go me!" Lucy cheered.

"D-Did you just fist bump yourself?" Gray asked.

"How sad..." Natsu and Gray said in unison. Lucy's face scrunched up.

"Shut up!" She said with an embarrassed glare.

"How am I supposed to fit in this thing?" Elfman questioned bitterly, staring at Wendy's tiny outfit, in his humungous hands.

Natsu bursts out laughing.

"Wendy..." Lucy whispered, her happiness deflating. She was super tired, exhausted even. They had searched for Wendy for a good two hours, which meant Lucy was up until like four in the morning. She had woken up at eight. So, she only got about four hours of sleep. She drank like four cups of coffee, but couldn't help but want to stay with Wendy.

She clenched her fists at the memory.

~Flashback~

"Wendy, Carla!" Lucy shouted, worriedly, rushing to the side of the young girl and cat's bed. The others were hot on her heels.

Lucy kneeled down next to Wendy and Carla and felt tears sting her eyes. She grabbed Wendy's hand and stroked her hair softly.

"Lucy-nee..." Wendy choked out, her voice scratchy.

"Oh, Wendy...what happened?" Lucy cried, while the others looked at Wendy and Carla with worry, anger, and sympathy.

"I-I don't know...I- It's all just a big blur. I remember this tiny black monster...it a-attacked u-us," She said, shivering at the memory. She burst out in sobs suddenly, and Lucy embraced her, while the blue-haired girl wailed into her shoulder.

"Who could've done this?" Erza asked angrily. Everyone sat there, watching Lucy comfort, the obviously traumatized sky dragon slayer.

Once Wendy had calmed down, Lucy wrapped the thin blanket tighter around the bluenette.

"I know who did this..." She said, making everyone's heads snap to look at her.

"Who?!" Natsu questioned, his flames itching to be released.

"Raven Tail...they have that weird Obra guy, who has some tiny black creature. I've seen them before on a mission. Plus, they have a motive to hurt our guild, since Ivan is Makarov's son, and hates Fairy tail," Lucy said, making Makarov, who was in the room, angry.

"Ivan's responsible?! He will pay for hurting Wendy!" He hollered, and the others agreed. Lucy was so angry with Raven Tail, she couldn't even think straight. They attacked one of the nicest people in their guild, a person reluctant to hurt someone. They were obviously cowards. If they really wanted to fight Fairy Tail, they should've picked a fight with Erza, herself, Laxus, or any of their boisterous members. They would have no problem kicking their asses to next year. But poor Wendy...she was an adorable cinnamon roll, who was too kind and shy to attack someone back like someone like Gajeel would.

"Elfman..." Everyone stopped ranting about destroying Raven Tail when they heard Wendy's voice speak.

"Yes?" Elfman asked softly, trying not to startle the tiny girl.

"Please...take my place...and win for me," She coughed out. Elfman nodded enthusiastically.

"Of course, little girl! You can count on me!"

"And Lucy-nee..." Lucy stared at her, the anger disappearing immediately when her eyes met Wendy's.

"Please...try your best. If anyone can make us number one again it's you." Lucy smiled and ruffled her hair.

"I promise, Wendy, I won't lose. I'll win for you, and I'll get revenge on those Raven Tail bastards who did this," She declared.

~End Flashback~

"We're just moments away from the start of the Grand Magic Games, folks. I'm the lead commentator, Chapati Lola, and I'll be handling the play by play, while former council member, Yajima provides commentary," Chapati, the announcer said, with Yajima at his side.

"Mr. Yajima, glad to have you with us, sir."

"Glad to be here."

"And, let's not forget our special guest, a member of Blue Pegasus and current holder of the title, Ms. Fiore, the ravishing, Jenny Realight!"

"Blue Pegasus is bringing home the gold this year!" Jenny chirped.

"Ready guys?" Natsu asked.

"Yep. Let's win this thing!" Lucy replied. They smile in content when realizing, they were in first place, thanks to Lucy's black hole magic.

"Now, the time has come to meet our competitors!"

"First up in 8th place, the rowdy army of hellhounds, Quatro Cerberus!" They walk out into the stadium while chanting their guild's name.

"We're wild!" One of the members shouted.

"Coming in 7th is a guild filled to the brim with the fairer sex, the bearers of the great blue sea, Mermaid Heel!" Mermaid heel strolled out, with the guys in the stadium drooling.

"In 6th place, we have the guild that glimmers in the darkness, Blue Pegasus!" They posed, making the girls squeal.

"Erza-chan! My sweet honey!" Erza shivered at Ichiya.

"Next, in 5th place, the goddess of life, the sacred destroyer, Lamia Scale!" Smoke bombs went off dramatically, and Lamia Scales team marched out, with Leon leading the pack.

"Now to introduce our 4th place contestant! What a shocker! Swooping in from a midnight dreary, this dark and scary bunch are making their first debut in this year's games! Raven Tail!" Master Makarov growled and started shouting at Ivan.

"Our 3rd place winner is...oh wow, what a surprise! This year's competition just got a whole lot more interesting!" Fairy Tail, Team B!" Laxus waved lightning into a Fairy Tail sign, and the second Fairy Tail team strutted onto the stage. Lucy watched from the shadows of her team's tunnel. She beat that baka Laxus.

"What the heck?" She heard her team, and everyone else wondering why they had two teams. Someone even asked if they gave them a handicap since they suck so badly. Lucy scowled at that insult.

"You know, I think the newly implemented rules may have left our audience, a bit perplexed, Mr. Yajima. Care to explain?"

"Sure thing. The committee, in charge of the grand magic games, permitted each guild to enter two teams, which they felt would make the preliminaries more exciting," Yajima stated.

"I'm not sure the committee really thought this new rule though. I mean, this is a team-based competition, won't having two teams, from the same guild kind of stack the odds."

"Hmmm, you worry too much. To be honest, I don't think, it'll be a problem," Yajima commented.

"Well, it's totally unfair, if you ask me. Let's say there's an event where each team chooses a member to compete against the others in a battle royale. There's nothing to stop the fairies from teaming up with each other," Jenny whined.

"That could give them an advantage, but that's there reward for being the only guild out of 100 to put two teams in the games."

"Hahaha, you certainly have the upper hand! Way to go Maky!" Yajima cheered.

"Maky?" Chapati questioned, confused for a second.

"HAHAHA!" Makarov laughed.

"And 2nd place is, whoah...our favorite Tigers, Sabertooth!" Everyone cheered, and Sabertooth sashayed out, with Sting acting like he was just crowned king.

"Wow, they didn't get first place like they always do...I wonder who beat our favorite guild?"

"Tch...stingy bee. He didn't even get first place, yet he's acting as if he's king," Lucy grumbled.

"And first place goes to...oh my gosh, this is surprising! Fairy Tail Team A!" Lucy set out a stream of stars, with her spell, star gun, making their entrance dramatic. What can she say? She's just fabulous. The audience was somewhat silent. They didn't know whether to cheer since Fairy Tail was known to be lame.

Lucy walked out, with her head held high. She made sure to walk in the center of her team and smirked when she saw Sting's glare.

"Stupid Blondie! How did you beat us!?"

"I already told you Stingy bee! I'm just super awesome, way cooler than you!" She said teasingly. She walked away from the fuming white dragon slayer.

"Look's like Fairy Tail has a shot at the title of Fiore's strongest guild!" Chapati commented. Lucy walked over to the rest of the teams when Raven Tail approached them. Lucy stiffened.

"Fairy tail...I trust your friend is recovering." Lucy clenched her fists, especially when she spotted the giggling black creature, that transformed into Wendy and made fun of her.

"I knew you were the ones who did this. Trust me when I say this. I will destroy you," Lucy snarled darkly, with her friends behind her with equivalent dark auras.

"We have kept you waiting enough! It's time to reveal the schedule for the games!" Chapati exclaimed, hoping to ease the tension he could feel rolling off from Fairy Tail in waves. A huge rock burst from the ground.

While the announcers explained the schedule, Lucy teleported over to Laxus's team.

"Laxus!" Lucy exclaimed, rushing to his side. He grunted, but the slight twitch of his lips showed his happiness at seeing her.

"What do you want, blondie? The games are about to start."

"Do the first event, okay. We can team up, and take everyone out!" She whisper-shouted, gaining a grin from Laxus.

"Sounds like a plan, Lucy."
