" This will be a 6 on 6 battle between the Champion of Kalos, Ash and the Champion of the Sinnoh region, Cynthia. There will be no time limit. Trainers realise your first Pokemon. "

" I'm happy to see you again, Ash. Although don't think I'll go easy on you " Cyntha said from her side of the battle field, even their conversations are being played on the speakers for everyone to hear.

" Heh, Glad you think that way Cynthia but don't worry even when you lose this battle, it won't affect your participation in the tournament " Ash retorted with a slight smirk.

" You seem confident " she stated.

" The outcome of this battle is inevitable, besides doesn't everyone trash talk before or during a battle " Ash placed his right hand on his hip and gave his weight to his right leg.

" Now that you mention it..... " She became deep in thought.

" And since this writer's a jerk that finds the protagonists pain and sorrow somehow amusing, I guess you'd have to be able to overcome obstacles. " Ash muttered, sadly the microphones picked it up.

" Writer, protagonist? " Cynthia questioned.

" Crap...I broke the fourth wall " Ash sighed.

" Is that like.....a Pokemon move or something " blondie said.

" Just forget about it! " The boy quickly said while he had his other hand on his head.

" Anyway, I'll send out my Pokemon first. Lets go Pikachu! " Ash yelled.

With that Pikachu ran out of the hallways that led to the center of the stadium, he jumped on Ash's shoulder then leapt to the battle field.

" Pikachu, huh? Come on out Garchomp! " Cynthia shouted as she tossed out a pokeball.

" I'll let you have the first move " Ash said as he gestured to her.

" Alright, lets give it our all Garchomp!" With that she pointed twords the yellow mouse " use earthquake "

The ground on the battle field began to shake, pikachu just stayed in place waiting for commands.

" Deflect " Ash's voice was calm.

The shock waves of the attack sent some debris at the electric mouse. Pikachus tail started to glow silver and as soon as anything came close to was shattered to pieces. As the dust settled it show an unscathed Pikachu.

" Once more! " Cynthia yelled.

" It didn't work the first time so lets see what she's got. " Pikachu nodded in agreement with his trainer.

As it did before the ground shook and sent debris at the mouse, the only difference was that they were able to make the attack come from every angle.

" Earthquake rock climb. " Ash commanded. ( the only name I could think of for it )

Once again Pikachu's tail glowed silver. He jumped a bit in the air and hit his targets on an angle, propelling him upwards. The mouse did this over and over again, climbing higher each time. When he got to the top he prepared to attack.

" Thunderbolt " the boy said.

Pikachu sent out electricity and it fell twords his opponent.

" Dodge "

" A-amazing... " Brock stuttered.

" How is he this powerful? " Misty asked.

" Uh.... Vitamins? " May suggested resulting with Max smacking her on the back of her head.

" Do you think he's taking it easy on her? " Iris wondered as she watched the battle, an intrigued expression on her face.

" He does seem very calm " Cilan commented.

" Overconfidence? " Dawn asked.

" Well considering that he's now taken out Cynthia's Garchomp, Spirtomb, Roserade, Glaceon and togekiss with just Pikachu, I don't think overconfidence has much of an affect on him. " Brock stated.

( I'm really bad at writing the pokemon battle sences so I'm just gonna skip most of them )

Ash's POV

Her Lucario is looking pretty worn out, no sense in carry out this battle any longer, besides Pikachu seems to be getting bored.

" Finish this with counter shield "

Pikachu took off twords the center of the field and spun around on his back while he realised a thunderbolt. The electric attack covered the entire field leaving no space for escape or cover.

The Lucario let out a cry of pain before falling to the ground, swirls in its eyes.

" Lucario is unable to battle, Pikachu wins which means Ash Ketchum is the winner! " The announcer said as Cynthia returned her Pokemon while whispering her thanks to it.

I walked twords her side and Pikachu hopped on my shoulder as i passed by him. I stopped near the center as she met me there.

" Thanks for the battle " I said with a smile while offering my hand to her.

" I think it was more of a battle for me than you " she chuckled as she took my hand.

After we shook hands and said our goodbyes I left the arena through one of the hallways. Some of the people were filtering out and exited the stadium as the beginning ceremony came to an end. In the area between the battle field and the doors that lead outside a lot of people just stood around and chatted. I guess I should go back to my room and do some more work on the new features for my watch. Then go hang out with Serena and check on my other Pokem-

" OMG your the Kalos champion, aren't you! "

I looked down to see a small girl, she had brown hair that was tied in pigtails that fell down to her back, she also wore a light pink dress.

" Yeah I am and who might you be? " I asked as i bent down and balanced myself on the tips of my toes.

" Autumn! There you are! " I looked over to see an girl running at the two of us. She looked like the young girl except that her dress was a light blue. " Sorry if my sister caused you any trouble mister "

" Sis! Look its the champion! " The young girl said as she looked at her older sister and pointed her finger twords me.

" W-wait your the c-champion? Of like K-Kalos, right? " The older girl stuttered.

" Yup, my names Ash, if you didn't know already. " I said as i rubbed the back of my head and stood up onto my feet. " And your names are? "

" Mines Kate and this is my younger sister, Autumn "

" Well it was very nice to meet you both "

" Hey, where's Noah? " Autumn asked her sister.

" He's waiting outside for us " Kate replied.

" Who's Noah? " I wondered.

" He's sis's boyfriend, he competing in the tournament! " Autumn informed me with a smile.

" He really admired your battle against Cynthia, he wouldn't stop talking about how amazing you were. He finally stopped when we realized that Autumn was gone, so I had to go look for her. " Kate added.

" Well give him my thanks. Don't you think you should be getting back to him now? " I asked them.

" Oh yeah! We'll be taking our leave now, bye! " Kate yelled as they ran in the direction they came from.

I turned around and started walking in the opposite direction than the other two. Now that I think about it I'm getting hungry.

" In a bit should we grab something to eat? " I asked Pikachu.

" Pika! " Was his reply.

Guess I could work on the watch later and take Serena with us to grab some food. What a good place to eat at? Hmmm.

" ASH! " A voice yelled with lots of footsteps following it.

I turned around to face them as they approached me. I surely haven't seen them in what seems forever.

Sorry I haven't updated for a while, I had to do a lot of stuff. Hopefully I will finish another chapter either today or tomorrow. If theirs not a new chapter for any extended period of time, sorry in advance.
