16: Back To The Wedding

Alas, time was short. As he pulled away from you, he tried to ensure that your make-up looked good.

You look absolutely gorgeous. Stunning. Now get back out there and pretend you love your husband. Although he was a bit sweatier than normal, Worick also still looked great. Especially with the grin that had been plastered on his face.

Well you can't be grinning like an idiot when you go back out there. You grabbed a paper towel and dabbed off the cool sheen of sweat that you had built up. I'll go out first.

Thank you. Nicolas look at you seriously. Also, he always looks like an idiot. So no one will care.

Worick slapped Nic's chest and shook his head.

You however, also needed to wipe the grin from your face. It was time to go face Miles.

Furtively, you slipped out of the bathroom and back into the reception hall.

"Ware woo awight?" Miles asked you as you sat back down. "Woo wook sick."

Using another napkin to dab at your face, you nodded as he gave you a concerned look.

"Woo want woo go-wah home-ah?" He asked nicely. Certainly, he wouldn't want you to push yourself too hard and do something embarrassing at the wedding.

You shook your head. You wanted him to at least enjoy his own wedding; despite the fact that his new bride had just been happily whoring it up in the bathroom with two of his guests.

You simply sat and watched the proclivities and the dancing, waiting for the two men to come back in. Eventually, perhaps five more minutes later, they arrived back in their seats, looking no worse for the wear.

Feeling a tapping at your shoulder, you looked at your husband.

"Whey weft a wittle after when woo weft. I think whey're having sex." He shook his head at them. "Wucking winful."

You tried not to scowl so hard at Miles, but even that was difficult. No matter how many times this guy seemed like he might be a good guy; joking with his subordinates, playfully teasing, and what not, he always seemed to then do something that counteracted it all.

He would teach you how to lip-read better but only because he was embarrassed of your voice. He took care of you well and gave you nice things, but you were a prisoner within your home. He did care about your pleasure when it came to the bedroom, but he refused to talk to you like a normal human. Why was he so full of contradictions? It was absolutely ridiculous to you and turned you off to no end. At least tonight, when he would more than likely be consummating his marriage to you-- of course forgetting that the premarital sex he had had was also sinful-- you would be able to imagine Worick and/or Nicolas.

As the night dragged on, you sat back and simply thought about when you might be able to get away with such a thing again. When and how would you gain enough trust from Miles to get time alone with those two men? And how could you keep it a secret?
