"Seungcheol, I swear to god, why are you so clingy especially today?" Jeonghan whined while standing in front of the mirror.

Seungcheol had his arms wrapped around his waist while his face nuzzled into the younger's neck.

"Why can't I be clingy especially today?" Seungcheol muttered, his eyes closed.

"Because today's an important wedding, yeah? And we aren't the guests there." Jeonghan replied, chuckling at the older's tender affection towards himself.

"I know." Seungcheol mumbled, his breath lingering over the younger's neck.

"Then leave me, no?" Jeonghan grinned lazily.

"Let me romance a bit, with my very own husband." Seungcheol smiled.

"Oh? What exactly is your romance now?" Jeonghan asked.

"Nothing much, just being with you is enough for my heart to be happy." Seungcheol retorted.

"Is that so?" Jeonghan raised a brow.

Seungcheol looked up, his chin resting on the younger's shoulder, "Most of the times you're in my arms, haven't you ever heard your name while my heart beats?"

"Oh!" Jeonghan's smiled widened, "I'm impressed, your highness."

"Then I'm content." Seungcheol winked.

He felt mischievous as he tickled the younger's waist and stomach.

Jeonghan laughed at first but abruptly whimpered in pain.

The wound of the supernatural sword hadn't completely healed yet.

"I'm sorry!" Seungcheol immediately blurted out, his eyes widened. He carefully turned around the younger and cupped his face.

"I'm really sorry, is it hurting a lot? Wait, I'll call-"

"It's fine, Seungcheol." Jeonghan muttered, "These small wounds won't do shit to me."

"You don't need to lie to me, at least." Seungcheol retorted, "I know it hurts."

"And you take really good care of me." Jeonghan held the older's cheeks, "I'm really grateful to have you in my life."

"If you're grateful then I must be the most fortunate in the entire world." Seungcheol planted a kiss on the younger's forehead.

Jeonghan chuckled mischievously, "I know. After all you have this chance to have me in your arms whenever you want. What else could anyone ask for?"

"Exactly. But you know what?" Seungcheol admired the younger's face, "Everyone else can just wish- Oh no, wait. They have no right to even wish of having you."

"Possessive, I see." Jeonghan teased.

"If you're my husband, I've to be ultra protective." Seungcheol acted worried, "Everyone has their eyes on you."

"And? Do you think I'm all relieved huh?" Jeonghan raised a brow.

"Wait-" Seungcheol paused, "We trust each other, remember?"

"Yeah, I remember." Jeonghan laughed briefly, "But that doesn't mean I can allow people to stare at my husband."

Seungcheol clutched his chest, "The more I look at you and listen to you, the more I want to keep you close to my heart!! This is not fair, husband, you should stop casting these spells on me. You know, I'm already down bad."

"Jeonghan fixed the older's hair, "And I love when you're falling for me like it's the first time. I love the way you love me, Seungcheol."

Seungcheol leaned in to press their lips together, "That means, you love me 24/7."

"No doubt." Jeonghan leisurely caressed the older's biceps, "Let's go, shall we?"

"To Dino?" Seungcheol asked.

"Yeah, then I'll go to check the preparations for one last time." Jeonghan nodded.

"You won't do that, Jeonghan." Seungcheol frowned, "There are a lot of people to do that."

"I know." Jeonghan smiled, "But I want to-"

"No." Seungcheol sternly stated, "There's nothing else you need to worry about except for your health."

"I'm alright, Seungcheol." Jeonghan assured.

"Don't act like you know yourself better than me." Seungcheol scrunched his brows.

"Wow?" Jeonghan gasped.

Seungcheol leaned into the younger's ear, "Do you know what's your most sensitive-"

"Shut up!!" Jeonghan gently slapped the older's cheeks to swat him away.

Seungcheol laughed, "Now now, what's the punishment of this offense of raising your hand on the Emperor hmmm?"

"Oh?" Jeonghan crossed his arms across his chest, "Do you even know who's standing in front of you?"

"Right, how can I forget?" Seungcheol did a prince bow, "The ultimate highness, forgive me, your majesty."

"Alright, be glad that I'm in a good mood today." Jeonghan acted out, "Now stop being dramatic and let's go."

Seungcheol intertwined his hand with the younger, "Let's go, my extremely gorgeous and breathtaking husband."

Jeonghan pressed a kiss on the older's cheeks, "Says the one who's himself so stunning! What good deeds did I do to have you beside me?"

"Maybe kissed an affection deprives soul." Seungcheol joked while opening the door.

"Yeah, because nothing seems to be enough for that soul." Jeonghan retorted while walking along.

"Trust me, it will never be enough." Seungcheol stated while looking forward, "The more I have you around myself, the more I crave for you. That's how important you're to me."

Jeonghan chuckled as they knocked at the desired room as Seokmin opened the door as Joshua peeked from behind.

"Wow you both are already here?" Seungcheol asked.

Jeonghan leaned in to whisper into the older's ear, "Not everyone is romancing at the wrong time."

"Shut up or I'll kiss you here." Seungcheol whispered back.

"Don't act before thinking about the future, right?" Jeonghan low-key threatened.

"Let's forget what I said-"

"Stop murmering both of you." Joshua rebuked playfully.

"Yeah yeah, tell that to your brother." Seungcheol walked in.

"Everyone knows who needs to be told that." Jeonghan rolled his eyes, "Anyways, where's the groom?"

"Here." Dino turned around with a smile.

Jeonghan eyed him from top to bottom with pure affection, "Now you ruined all the decoration of the palace. How will it stand a chance against this handsome young man?"

"Have you ever complimented me like this?" Seungcheol asked.

"I don't understand how's he older than both of us." Seokmin scoffed.

"Probably because I was born first?" Seungcheol replied.

"Physically." Seokmin remarked.

"Why is everyone bickering today?" Joshua intervened."

"Guess who's the common person in all of them?" Seokmin teased.

"Shut up." Seungcheol turned to Dino, a smile plastered on his face, "You're looking really handsome. I hope the groom side will win in glamour!"

"I'm pretty sure, he doesn't want to win." Jeonghan patted the youngest one's shoulders.

"More like, I can't win." Dino grinned.

"More like, you've already lost." Seokmin intervened.

"More like, he was never winning." Joshua concluded.

"More like, we're getting late." Another voice echoed from the open door.

Ara and Sunwoo were standing there while admiring their children as all of them greeted and bowed to the elders.

"Everyone is looking amazing!" Ara exclaimed, "Now let's go, okay?"

"Yeah!"

The royalty walked downstairs to the main hall. Soon enough the bride side was welcomed.

The event spells glowed through the palace - Kim Taeri weds Choi Chan.

Everyone was settled as the wedding vows began with Dino and Taeri being the center of attention.

"Now even the youngest would be dealing with her tantrums like I bear yours." Seungcheol muttered.

"Yeah and she'll be extra busy in bearing with him like I endure you." Jeonghan rolled his eyes, "But no no, she'll still be relaxed because no one can sulk more than you, not even your younger brother."

"Look, you just need a chance to simply attack me, no?" Seungcheol nudged the younger's arm with his elbow.

"Don't annoy me." Jeonghan's mumbled.

"I will annoy you more, what are you going to do?" Seungcheol snuggled one of his arms around the younger's waist pulling him closer.

"You can't keep your hands to yourself, can you?" Jeonghan shifted slightly, standing graceful amidst the older's arm.

"You can't stop being amazing, can you?" Seungcheol chuckled.

"Dramatic." Jeonghan muttered.

"So what?" Seungcheol tightened his grip around the younger's waist but made sure to not to hurt his healing wound.

"What is this behaviour, Seungcheol?" Jeonghan whined subtly.

"What do you mean?" Seungcheol whispered, "We're married plus I'm not doing anything unethical, I'm simply holding you."

"I'm not talking about that." Jeonghan paused, "I mean- yeah."

Seungcheol laughed slightly, "You just have to get annoyed of me for no reason."

"Because you are annoying." Jeonghan retorted.

"Alright." Seungcheol mumbled as he removed his hand from the younger's waist.

"See, now you'll sulk." Jeonghan whined.

"It's pretty obvious who's sulking and who's not." Seungcheol chuckled teasingly.

"Fine, I'll go to the other side." Jeonghan huffed.

Seungcheol held his waist again, "This is what we call sulking, my dear husband."

"I hate you." Jeonghan muttered.

"Love you too." Seungcheol grinned.

The priest's voice echoed as the main ritual started, "Now, you'll be tied in the sacred strings of wedding. Do remember, one string breaks and the other's heart will shatter.

Once you both get tangled with each other's hearts, it will be hard for you to get separated. So, for one last time, are you both ready to be each other's halves?

Are you ready to complete each other with your uniqueness as well as flaws? Do you both trust each other with your hearts?"

"I do."

"I do."

"Alright, now repeat after me, the strings of my heart are tangled with your."

"The strings of my heart, are tangled with yours." Dino and Taeri stated at the same time as the red strings glowed around their wrists.

Everyone clapped and cheered for them while showering them with genuine blessings.

Seungcheol stared at Jeonghan who was busy cheering for the newly wed couple.

"What happened?" Jeonghan asked as he noticed the older's gaze on himself.

"Nothing." Seungcheol scoffed, "Just recalled how I wasn't able to make our wedding day a happy one for you."

"Why are you recalling all that stuff which doesn't matter anymore?" Jeonghan saueezed his palm gently.

"I just did." Seungcheol looked down, "I know you'll say that I made up for it and now you're happy. But there's always some essence of a few special days.

I was in a wrong influence but at least I could smile while you were simply drowning in pain. Over all that, I didn't even notice your discomfort."

"Seungcheol, stop it, please." Jeonghan got concerned, "I know there's always that essence of special days as you said. But it was a part of our journey.

A moment that shows how much we've developed things between us and how much efforts we put in our marriage."

"I know, Jeonghan, I really know and I'm happy to see this growing change between us." Seungcheol paused, "But can you recall that special day without any pain?"

"I can and I always do." Jeonghan assured, "No matter what I was feeling at that time, it makes me happy that I got destines with you.

It was a day when our hearts were connected to each other. It was the day when we vowed to he together for the rest of our lives.

And it was the day when you cried for me, Seungcheol. The day when you vowed to stand by me and protect these strings forever.

It was the day when even the clouds couldn't help but feel the pain in your heart. The day when you wished for nothing but my well-being. That's how I remember it.

And you know what's even better?"

"What is it?" Seungcheol asked.

"From that day, your care and affection towards me never changed, it just kept increasing." Jeonghan rested his hand on the older's back, "And soon enough, you started loving me."

Seungcheol wiped the faint tears in his eyes.

"When you gave me so many reasons to be happy and content, why would I hold onto unnecessary grudges?" Jeonghan intertwined their hands together as the strings around their wrists glowed.

"Nothing matters until this shines with glore." Jeonghan chuckled, "Until my heart beats with yours, everything is great for me."

"No one has ever built my self-esteem like you did." Seungcheol mumbled, "I love you Jeonghan, I love you with my heart and soul."

"I love you too, Seungcheol." Jeonghan grinned, "We can't stop the problems that come our way but, we can definitely fight them together."

"And we'll win each time." Seungcheol added, "Because we're together."
