It has been a week since that incident. We returned two days ago and decided not to utter a word about the stunt Sanjay pulled to either of our parents.  But I acted insistent on telling so that he ended up pleading me.

And like this I have card to pull on him when he does not listen to me!!! Anyway first things first.... I have to call him. 

We have been busy these past few days.... first the long line of competitions for the fest, then the fest, then the projects, then exams. Huff!!! A busy couple of months... Yes, it's been a couple of months since we both have actually hung out. A few short rides, calls and cafes... but nothing more. 

So, I was actually excited for today....  he promised a long ride then dinner and.... nothing more... expecting something more weren't you?? Well... that something will have to wait at least until graduation. He told me to ring his phone so that he could come pick me up. I could drive myself but he insisted. 

So, I called.... but he didn't pick up even after 8 rings... So, I tried again and again. Anger, worry and curiosity welled up inside me.

I took an auto ride to his house where he had proposed me. I got down and walked in. As I went a little further in... I discovered his mobile lying a rack kinda thingy getting charged. But he was nowhere to be seen. 

Oh wait!!!! I know where he would be...

I climbed up the stairs enthusiastically only to be greeted by...

The delicious scent of Chicken Biryani......... I silenced my steps and sneaked up to terrace. And... there he was, that idiot sitting on the bed on terrace and eating chicken biryani with gravy and raita. 

'Ada paavi naan illama biryani saapduriya?! Iru...'

I muttered to myself and sneaked up behind him and took one of the water bottles while he was completely involved in enjoying his biryani.

"Nalla iruka??" I asked in a mocking tone. 

He answered with a happy sounding 'mhmmm' shaking his head affirmatively then snapping it at me in confusion. 

He dropped his jaw and then smiled sheepishly. I glared at him and splashed water all over his face. 

His face was completely priceless.... as if he was stuck by a lightning. I couldn't control myself and started laughing. He glared at me, put the biryani aside and took another water bottle. 

Then started the ridiculous water tag.... we both started running around splashing water on each other for a while and then collapsed on the bed laughing together. 

I turned to face him and he did the same. So, we were facing each other and were close enough for our breaths to merge together. 

I raised my eyebrow at him and he gave me his trademark magical smile. He held my face in his hands and leaned closer towards me. I looked at him in surprise as he came even closer. And then he whispered, yes, he whispered in my ear... to close my eyes. 

I looked at him confusedly but he just smiled as we both got up. He closed my eyes and led me downstairs and then in some direction. 

When he finally let me open my eyes.... I was in front of some vehicle covered by a sheet. Wow!!! I guess he just a brought a new bike. I turned my head at him and uttered an excited congrats. But then he frowned playfully and walked towards it... he smirked and..

"Idhu ennakku illa unnakku" he said lifting the sheets. I dropped my jaw.

There shining in the setting sun's radiance was this... 

"Will you take me on a ride??" he asked playfully handing me a helmet. 

I remember ranting to him about wanting to drive a gucci or a bullet. But I didn't think he would remember it. I was smiling in shock. I turned and hugged me tightly while shouting out 'I love you!'

So, as the sun was setting and the dusk came in to life radiating a godly but cozy ambiance and as the wind was starting to get romantic. I took my Boyfriend on a long ride on the roads of Chennai!!!

We drove for 3 hours finally stopping at a drive in. Sanjay occasionally helped me and sometimes even drove from behind because it was my first time driving a Gucci. We drank thick shakes because we weren't in a mood to eat anything. Then we drove to the beach. The sea was a bit calmer today but still stunningly beautiful and it raised my spirits greatly. 

So, we parked the bike and ran around a bit finally settling down on a bench. 

We both sat down close to each other and I held his hand and cuddled over his arm. He started stroking my hair.

After a while, he said...

"Nisha.... Naan unnakku oru vishayam sollanum!!!"

I didn't even move twitch or make a change in my position and simply asked, "Ennathu??"

"Naan oru business trip ku poren... Switzerland!!! For..... Two months!!"
