With cake in my hand I walked towards him. White shirt, messy hair often make me wonder how good looking he has been all these years and I don't get enough chance to oogle at him. 

" That's a cake?." He questioned .

" Yes.Wont you wish me?" I replied.

"Happy birthday Anagha." He said smiling at me. I bowed my head like he did before. Laughing loudly he took piece of cake and fed me. I attempted to eat the cake on plate but he ate it winking at me.

" That's not fair." I whined.

" Eat it from fridge. You called me here?." He asked me. With lots of strength and determination I decided to do what I wanted to . Stupid rain interrupted us , he opened umbrella pulling me under it.  With calm sound of raindroplets , thunderstorms in the background we just looked at sky. We never wanted to be in this situation but universe had other plans.

" You should sleep. You had long day ." He spoke . I just hummed to his words.

" What is it that you want to talk about?." He asked me again. I looked at him and then at rain which took its roaring form. With great courage, I hugged him.  He took two steps back holding me and umbrella tightly. Realizing I made a big gamble by doing this I backed off. He was shocked to say the least. I could see his veins popping out as his hold on the umbrella was so tight.

" Thank you for coming here, for these beautiful bangles,  for ordering my favorite cake. And also... you were the first one to feed my birthday cake. " I spoke in a breath not knowing how he will react. Amogh just looked at me as if I am some kind of alien.

" You didn't eat cake from your friends hand? I saw them smearing it on your face. " He finally spoke. I nodded my head as no.  With a step towards me he bent down , gave me a kiss on cheek.

" I like to progress with you slowly. I need to teach myself how to do that." He mumbled hugging me lightly.  I laughed at his prep talk.

" But I sense you were about to say something?." He talked still hugging me. I exhaled as this is going to frighten him.

" My parents, they think I should be with you. " I finally said not liking their decision.

" What do you mean by that?." He asked me.

" Your mom too said same." I continued. He is confused now.

"But your home is close to college compared to mine. " He said holding my shoulders.

"She wants me to concentrate on my final year, thinks I will be able to learn more. "I said still looking at him suddenly thunderstorm struck loudly making him jump in place break his train of thoughts. Holding my hand he took me down to ground floor. Placing wet umbrella on floor,we walked inside. Locking every door securely he made sure my parents and his mom are sleeping. Dragging me into my room, he closed it by bolt. My eyes were going wide with surprise. With one long stride, he held my face between his hands and kissed me square on my lips. It was nothing short of surprise .

" I just had to do it. " that's all he said before leaving me alone in my room. I walked outside to see him sleeping on sofa in our dining hall. He closed his eyes with short snores. Looking at clock I realised i was standing in my place reminiscing what he did few minutes before but then lost track of time. Nudging him slowly, I made him walk into my room. With pillows between us , I bolted my door.

" Anagha.." he mumbled holding my hand over pillows .

" Sleep." I said patting his shoulder. He's been in surgeries whole day according to Kasturb. One after the other until 5pm in the evening. Apart from his busy schedule,  knowledge,  he's quite famous in our college for being a handsome doctor among others. So any news regarding him spreads like fire among our pgs. They even discuss about him and other good looking doctors in our groups.

My phone buzzed as I found notification from Kasturb.

'Need to go to hospital. Got a pregnancy case to attend. Do you think you can lend me some cash?.'

I sighed and got up with some cash and my scooty keys which was repaired by Dr Amogh itself since my friends are too busy to even remember it. 

" Thank God Anu! You can't believe I was so stressed hoping he's sleeping in hall. But I guess he's with his brother?." Kasturb asked as he pointed his finger towards  Dr Amogh car. I hummed in response handing him cash, keys, helmet, some left over food and cake.

" You are sleepy or angry that I disturbed you?." He asked me.

" I am tired Kasturb. Done with your viva? Now leave I need to lock my gate too." I said as he waddled out of my house to start my scooty. Jaidev ran and sat behind him apologizing for being late.

" But why are you going back?." I asked him surprised.

" Common yaar anu! I can't sleep without him beside me." He replied hugging Kasturb tightly. It started drizzling as thunderstorms struck again. Bidding me bye they both left joking loudly waking up whole street. I looked up to see umbrella on my head and turned around.

" You haven't slept?." I asked Dr Amogh who just shrugged his shoulders. Locking my gate and main door. We both came inside again. He quietly patted his side of bed , slept in snoring away as soon as he closed his eyes. What a peaceful sleeper he is! I turned for almost two hours chatting in between with my friends and finally slept around 3.30 am.

" Anagha! Wake up! Your mom is banging on your door!." Dr Amogh patted my hand as I lay in star fish position enjoying my day off.

" Uff! Shut up. " I said pushing his hand away.

" But you need to get up! They don't know i am sleeping here." He whispered again. Getting up immediately I looked around my room. He's actually here talking to me in person!

" What?." I asked him still in sleep.

" Your mom!." He said looking away.

" Anagha! Open up! Your friends are waiting for you!." My mom shouted . I looked at my shirt to see that it's ridden up exposing my tummy and my shorts are well .... gone down. Since it's not my size.

" Mom. Wait." I said adjusting my clothes. He got down facing away walking into washroom silently. Opening the door, I looked at him hiding away . My mom did not enter but dragged me outside. After bidding bye to my friends I sat down on sofa feeling extremely sleepy.

" Where's Amogh? His car is standing outside. " My mom asked as Yug wished me good morning with sleepy eyes.

" My room." I answered with closed eyes.

"What???." Everyone shouted very shocked. Just then he came out buttoning his shirt casually.

" Mom,  dad! He was using my washroom. He asked my permission. " I clarified looking at him who nodded his head.

" We don't mind anyway." Amoghs mom said winking at me. Yug jumped on him kissing his cheek as he took him out on to lawn to play with his brother. Their bonding makes me jealous. I really wish I had a sibling with whom I can play, confess, do silly things too.

" Amogh ! Yug! Come inside!." His mom called him.  He came back with sweat and grass stuck on his shirt . A green patch spoiling his white shirt.

" When did you change your shirt?." His mom asked him.
Looking at me he smiled at his mom. Yesterday night when he was feeling cold, I gave him my dad's old shirt which happens to be white too.

" We will have breakfast I need to leave in half an hour." He said moving towards dining table. Everyone was silent for some odd reasons which was felt by me and Dr Amogh as well.

" What is it?." He finally asked .

" We need to talk." My dad said looking at us seriously.
