I hate little humans! Especially my brother Yug.

"Ummmmmah!. You are so good. Can I marry you??." He asked Anagha walking infront of me. Giggling to whatever she said he was now jumping in the air.

Why do people want to marry her?

" You know Anu. I love you to the moon , pani puri stall , pasta stall and back." Yug confessed giggling again.

" Yes yes. He's here. Listening to me. But I can't make difference between sofa and him." He said which made me angry.

" You asking me why? He's emotionless just like Sofa!." Yug declared which earned a tight slap on his back from me. Yelling like a crow he threw my phone at me and ran back to mom to complain.

" Hello? Did your brother hit you?." She asked him with concerned tone.

" Oh God! He's just a child. This man doesn't have emotions nor concern. How can he hit baby Yug. Offfo! If I see him now I will make sure to wring his neck ! No I will bite him hard then he will cry like a baby !." Anagha said with frustration.

" Where will you bite me? Where are you?." I asked her which earned silence from her end.

" I..I am sorry sir. I mean Dr Amogh. I.. I am at hospital."  She replied making me chuckle.

" Where will you bite me?." I asked her again. She disconnected our call. Tucking my shirt in,  I drove to hospital just to see her face.  As students wished me I walked casually inside her department.

" Good night sir!." Jaidev stood with tensed face. I saw him face timing someone.

" You are alone?." I asked him.

" Sir, Anagha is in emergency duty,  Kasturb has off now. I can send my junior if you need any pg?" He questioned .

" I will search myself. " I said walking back. I heard him faintly saying baby I am sorry. As I walked inside neonatal section I saw Anagha busy with babies assisting other doctors. I waited until she's done with her duty in my cabin. As soon as she walked out at 1.45 am I followed her.

" You didn't tell me where do you want to bite me?." I asked her. Anagha squealed and jumped in her place. She speed walked to elevator looking back. Just as doors started closing I placed my foot.

"Thank you Dr Amogh". one of the nurse entered with instruments ,I smirked at Anagha standing opposite to her.

"Night shift sir?." Nurse asked me. I looked at Anagha before answering her.

"Depends. "

"What about you ma'am? I have never seen you going home. "She added.

"Final year. So we get busy. " Anagha replied. I just smiled at her innocence. 

We three stepped out of elevator. I waited until she walked back to her scooty. Kicking it to start i saw her struggling like a dying whale.

" I will drop you.  Come with me." I offered her help. She nodded her head as no. Just the  ambulance rolled with loud siren. People were being wheeled into emergency ward. Anagha looked at the scene with some emotion. 

" You ok?." I asked her. She nodded her head again.

" Its late. Get into my car." I said taking her scooty keys. With thunder in the sky she jumped again. Taking her hand in mine, I walked past few people who were too sleepy or tired to recognise me. Strapping her in , I moved my car out.  Just as I exited the hospital my phone rang loudly.

" Sir! I am sorry to disturb you! There's an emergency surgery which Dr Panchal has asked you to join in.  I called Dr Veer too." My department head nurse called me to inform. Anagha immediately unlocked the door but I locked it which made her turn towards me.

" Give me half an hour. Prepare the patient mean while. Ask final year pgs to scrub in with me. You know whom to call, schedule is on board." I replied looking at Anagha who had shocked expression.

" Sir.. you need to go.  I can book uber or Ola." She suggested as I continued driving.

" You didn't tell me where will you bite?." I questioned her again.

" Sir that's inappropriate. " She replied.

" Is it ? Who will ask you if it isn't me? I mean you are allowed to bite and kiss someone else?." I questioned her again.

" Yes. Maybe. Drop me here." She answered as we neared her street. Without a word , Anagha unlocked her door as I slowed down. I reversed my car thinking about her reply, it's not that she is angry with me , I can sense disappointment in her voice.

" Sir! Patient got wheeled inside just now. It's an accident case , head injury and a cut near throat. Dr Panchal and Veer are inside. Do you want me to brief everything?." One my of my pg walked with me as I approached OT. My mind wandered back to Anagha as I assisted, no matter how much I try to concentrate she wouldn't leave !

" Dr Amogh? Are you tired?" Dr Panchal her uncle questioned me as I blinked several times. It's been 4hrs, I did not sleep as I had major surgeries whole day when I went back my brother Yug just made sure I run back to her.

" He is tired I think sir. Saw him back in elevator with Dr Anagha ." That nurse who was with us opened her mouth.  Everyone snapped their head towards me , I could see Dr Panchal smile.

" I had to look up into one of my cases. Nothing much.  Plus I came back to collect my wallet." I lied which earned chuckle from Dr Panchal. He was doing surgery as I monitored.  We both took turns to complete the surgery as Dr Veer who is Anesthesiologist helped us to sedate the patient. My pgs whispered among themselves which caught my ears as I was stitching up.

" Isn't she hot?"

" I heard Dr shubash and Dr Sanjay proposed her."

" I heard , I mean my girlfriend from anesthesiology dept said even Dr Veer speaks high of her."

" She must be cool. I met and spoke with her very down to earth person. "

" Yeah man. I wonder who her bf is. Dr Panchal sure loves her a lot."

" Yeah sir is kind towards her. But she's hot dude. One day I will try my luck."

" What kind of sutures am I placing?." I asked them irritated with their banter. Their heads snapped and mouth shut as they realised I am done suturing.

" Next time. Learn something instead of talking about a girl. She might be hot, happening and lively for all I care. You are here to work not train for gossip aunty role. Get out!." I spoke in a calm tone. Dr Veer looked at me puzzled as I exited the room. With frustration I threw my cap away making people wonder what happened to be. Changing my clothes, I drove towards her house.  After 11th missed call she picked up my phone.

" What is it?." She answered groggily.

" Open the door." I ordered her. After a minute pause she disconnected my call. It took her almost 5min to open her main door. Pushing her inside I entered her house to find uncle sitting at dining table reading newspaper.

" Good morning beta. You look tired." He commented .

" I need to sleep." I said to no one in particular walking towards her room. Pulling her with me I closed her door. I don't care what they think of us.

" What the fuck!" Anagha yelled.

"I haven't slept in a while. Do me a favor. " I spoke in calm tone.

"There are women who are willing to sleep with you if you need. I-" She started again.

"Just don't. Your off day?." I asked her. She nodded like a toddler arranging her bed for me. Her mom knocked on our door, Anagha opened it.

"Amogh beta, I guess long night? Eat this Poha with juice. Anagha Help him. " She said leaving us alone.

"You have 2 hands, mouth to stuff this food. I don't think you need my help sir." She voiced out crossing her hands. With anger bubbling inside me, I grabbed the plate stuffed Poha with my hands drinking juice in between.
She looked at me as if I am possessed.

"Whatt is wrong with you? Chew your food." Anagha exclaimed. Gobbling my juice I pulled her towards me.

"I am going to wash my hands and come back. Don't you dare run from this room. If you do, don't even imagine what am going to do. " I whispered.  Locking up her room, I washed my hands. When I came back Anagha was busy cleaning her room.

"Come." I said dragging her with me. Soon sleep took over, exhausted mind numbed with thoughts of the girl who decided to invade my dreams.
