Nandini and Navya broke the hug wearing smile on their faces when Navya asked her "tum kahan thi..? Hum kabse phone kar rahe the...? "

Nandini suddenly realised what happened just an hour ago but didn't let Navya sense the tension . "Wo Navya actually phone silent par tha and I was in the meeting so.. Par tum batao why you called me here ..? Tum ghar ja sakti thi , I gave you another set last time na..? " Nandini replied.

"Haan di to thi Aur wo hai bhi par hum na tumhare ghar ka address bhool Gaye the .!" Navya replied sheepishly.

"Seriously Navya..?? Phir se..? Kya hoga tumhara..?" Nandini replied after slapping her forehead as it was again that Navya forgot the address of Nandini's place inspite of remembering again and again and noting it down too.

After few minutes they realised they are still at airport and made their way to Nandini's car heading towards her place. Their drive was fun as they discussed about old days , new things in life , work , family and what not.

For while Nandini just forgot everything and enjoyed herself in her friend's company.

Soon they reached the place. After settling down Navya informed Nandini that she is here for a 15 - days workshop for the interior designers which made Nandini jump around as she would be accompanied by Navya for next 15 days. Nandini was more than happy.

The whole passed by with the chit chatting of the two , bitching about people , gossip , drooling over B-town hot actors and more such silly girl talks over a good lunch and then lazily they dozed off.

At around 7 pm Nandini woke. She saw the sight and smiled as they both slept cuddling each other where Navya's head was on Nandini's stomach ; her head rested on a cushion , legs stretched in front and hands wrapped around Navya's neck.

They made themselves comfortable for chatting and eating on the floor and there only they both slept. Nandini carefully moved aside not wiling to wake Navya and kept the cushion under her head.

She moved towards the balcony and stood there for sometime when suddenly her phone started ringing. In the thought that Navya's sleep will be disturbed she quickly grabbed the phone and answered it without checking the caller name's and as the caller spoke , she skipped her heart beat and got froze there for a moment.

"Nandini you there..?? Are you listening ..??" The sudden voice that spoke for the 4th time , brought her out of her thoughts. It didn't took her long to recognise the voice , a quality of hers in which she is really good at. "Haan am here only , listening , (taking a pause) , say Manik , Kya hua.??" She replied to the owner of the voice , Manik , who in his 15th attempt finally gathered some courage to talk to her over the morning matter but before that everytime he kept on disconnecting it.

They both kept their silence for some time and then said togather ; "are you fine.??". Both asked the same question to the other.

No matter they had no relation , no matter they were just professionals , but still they cared for each other , they were worried for the other , more than themselves.

Nandini's question was genuine as Manik was in problem but hearing that same question from Manik , Nandini was confused as she did not had any idea that Manik knows about her past.

"What will happen to me Manik .? I am fine..! Tumne aisa kyun poocha..?? " . Manik had no answer. His concern was although also very genuine but then he could not tell her that he is aware of her past. "Nothing..! Just like that.." Manik replied sheepishly.

Nandini didn't gave the second thought to it and continued with her question. "Tum theek ho Manik.? Don't worry everything will be alright. When you did nothing wrong then nothing can go wrong with you too. You just don't take tension ok..!" Nandini assured Manik in a very firm but low tone.

Worry and tension were clearly audible in her voice. Manik was again surprised after listening such things from her. Her concern made him feel bit happy.

A very minute smirk appeared on his face realising that more than him she is worried and also on her innocence where she tried to pretend all cold and rude to the world but in reality she is just opposite.

"And how are you so sure that I am not fault. May be its all done by me only and I am just lying. May be trying to move out safe. You never know. " Manik questioned her about her trust in him which was yet a big question for Nandini itself. Hearing what he said , her hidden fears again started to fume up , making her doubt on herself. But then a feeling hit her hard and glimpses of those days when accidentally they were togather , started coming in front of her eyes.

She had a hard time on his question but then she spoke up what her heart wanted her to say with the help of her mouth. "I gave the answer in the morning itself . And whatever I said was true by each word. I have to prove your innocence and I will do that. If you are at fault then you very well know what comes up next..!! " Nandini was very much sure in her tone which made Manik even more happy.

"Okk fine.. No kidding , jokes apart but seriously Nandini you don't need to take stress. Haan fine Maine kuch nahi kiya but then you need not stress up your life in order to prove my innocence ; seriously. I'll do that on my own , really , but thank you ki you stood by me and spoke in favour of me.

Thanks to you I have 15 days in hand. So you relax , I will sort my mess out ; don't worry." Manik said to Nandini and she listened it carefully without any interruption. "
"I don't like to leave things undone Manik. I prefer the work done to its completion , and I think you know at least that much about me. So it would be better if you let me do my job and you do whatever you like." She replied to him again in a very firm and assertive tone but the pitch being bit high this time. Manik didn't knew what to say and how to react on her statement. Before he could say anything else , she hung up the call wishing him good night.

The moment she kept the phone down , Navya entered the room , and it was clear from her face that she heard the conversation. Nandini was tensed which was clearly visible from her face . Navya sat beside her and asked , "kuch share hai..?" Nandini just looked at her and after a minute of pause , gathering the words in her mind to speak up , she narrated everything to Navya. "I don't know Navya why I said that , pata nahi mujhe Kya ho Gaya tha.?" Nandini spoke up while hugging Navya who in return was just caressing her head in order to calm her down. "Jo Bol diya , so Bol diya. Ab uske baare mein soch kar tum Khud ko pain mat do. Zayda stress lene se mana kiya Gaya hai na tumhe..?" Navya replied to her and broke the hug. "Just forget what you said , don't think over it. Right now you have a big responsibility Aur tumhe use poora karna hai." Navya said to her. Nandini nodded her head and relaxed her mind not giving more thoughts on the matter. They both again got indulged into themselves and started preparing for dinner.

Post the dinner , none of the two felt sleepy as they slept in the noon time. At that point , Nandini started discussing and telling her what exactly the official matter was and what needs to be done. She asked from Manik for his ID and password which he messaged her and both Navya and Nandini went through that mail innumerable times to check very minute detail and of course get any evidence which can claim that Manik is not at fault but to their dismay , they found none.

Both were felt disappointed and disheartened. Not sure what to do next , Nandini logged her Facebook account and they both started having a look at it and discussing about the posts they were coming across in news feed. During that , one post grabbed Nandini's attention to the fullest.
