JJ's POV:

We were at a kook party and Hannah and I were hanging out. I was kinda drunk and was just having a good time.

It was getting late and Hannah and I were going to find a bedroom to hook up in. I opened one of the doors and I totally saw Kie getting fucked by a kook named Sam. They both looked at me as I closed the door.

I brought Hannah into the room next door and started making out with her. Gross. I made things move a little faster because making out with her wasn't the same as with Kie.

I could hear Kie through the walls that were paper thin which was shocking as this was a kook house. I was fucking Hannah and honestly could have just walked away because the sex was so bad. I was listening to Kie's noises. I'm pretty sure this makes me an awful person.

I quickly got dressed and left the room and went back to the party. Kie still wasn't back down here. My mind started wondering where she was and if she was okay.

A few seconds later, she came down the stairs alone and walked right over to me. Part of me was pissed at her for hooking up with Sam but I couldn't be pissed. We both said it was fine to see other people and I literally just did the same thing she did.

I just couldn't stop thinking about why she picked Sam to hook up with. He was a kook. Did she have a thing for kooks? If she was into kooks then why did she agree to our arrangement?

She looked at me and said, "What are you thinking about?"

I realized I had totally zoned out. I didn't know how to answer so I just told her, "Nothing" as I couldn't tell her I was jealous and didn't want her sleeping with Sam

John B and Sarah came over and we hung out with them. Sam came back over to dance with Kie. She was hanging out with him and he invited her back to his place. She said no as she already had plans.

I avoided her the best I could for the rest of the night. I got bored and I walked home to my dad's house. About an hour later, Kie had texted me.

Kie: Where are you?

Kie: We need to talk

Kie: Please don't ignore me

JJ: I'm at home. We'll talk tomorrow

Kie: Can I come over?

JJ: No, he's home

Kie: Then come to the chateau or my house or else I'm coming over

JJ: I'm not leaving and you sure as hell are NOT coming over here

I laid in bed trying to sleep but I couldn't. I tossed and turned and I wished I could talk to someone about how I was feeling but the only person that I talked to about this shit was Kie. I finally fell asleep and I was woken up by my dad pounding on my door screaming about me locking the door. I knew I was about to get beat up by him but I honestly didn't care.

If I would have cared, I would have gone out my window. I opened the door and was greeted by my dad's fist in my face. We got into a scrap and he eventually passed back out and I went to the Chateau.

When I arrived everyone was awake and hung over from last night. I saw Kie and her hair was a mess. Total bedhead. She was wearing my sweatshirt and honestly, she looked hot. Things still felt like there was a lot of tension between us.

"So what's the plan for today?" I asked wondering if they had made plans

"We could go that house Rose is trying to sell to hang before the cops bust us" John B suggested

"No, I'm not doing anything dangerous like that" Pope stated firmly

Sarah suggested we go shopping and even Kie shot that idea down. It started raining so we decided on a movie day. I went and sat across the room from Kie and she looked at me so confused. I tried to ignore her and just focus on the movie we were watching.

Kie went to take a shower and I honestly thought about going in there with her but decided against it. She came back out in her own clothes. That night we were heading to a party at the Boneyard and Kie was talking to three kooks guys, Sam, Andrew, and Ben.

She saw me and walked away from them and said, "I've been looking for you"

"I was busy" I said lying

She grabbed my hand and led me away from all the people. She was walking away from the party holding my hands that were probably super sweaty. She wanted to talk about something and I was scared she was going to end this arrangement because of how I was acting.

Once we were completely alone and the party was no longer in sight she said, "I know we agreed on no strings attached and I still want that. It's just that I want to add another rule. I don't want you sleeping with anyone else while this is going on because I don't want to sleep with anyone else"

I so wasn't expecting her to say that. That was the last thing I expected to come out of her mouth. I looked at her and asked, "What changed?"

"Last night was awful with Sam. Almost as bad as the time I was with Pope. That's kinda why I wanted to talk to you last night so you could finish what he started"

I laughed and said, "It didn't sound like it"

"You could hear me?" She asked mortified

I laughed again and said, "Loud and clear, shockingly the walls were paper thin"

"You heard nothing... That's so embarassing. Sam was the one who was whispering that he wanted me to moan and scream and I wanted him to hurry up and be done so I did"

I laughed again and Kie actutally looked so embarassed so I told her the truth. I looked at her and said, "I was literally getting turned off by Hannah and I heard you that helped me finish the job. She was one of the worst hook ups I've ever had"

Kie seemed more relaxed and we talked as we ended up back at my house. I brought her to my room and my dad was gone. I found my high school diploma and I added another rule to it: no sleeping with other people

She grabbed me and kissed me as she lifted my shirt off and she saw a huge bruise and pulled away.

"Oh yeah, got that this morning from my dad" I told her casually

She didn't kiss me, she hugged me tight. It was exactly what I needed right now. We just stood in my arm hugging and then I kissed her again and things progressed as we moved to my bed. This night went way better than I could have ever imagined. Kie and I were going to be okay.
