~Hailea's POV~

I had no idea who this guy was or if I should go, but I just shrugged. It couldn't be worse than having my parents look at me like I'm some kind of freak. And they know something that they aren't telling me. Maybe this guy...Samuel...could give me some answers. I look at the clock and it says 10:30. I pack a bag, and then escape through my window. I walk the thirty minutes to the big mansion across town. Walking up to the gates, I don't see anyone.
"Of course....they don't show." I sigh.
"We did though." A voice says as I jump.
"Don't sneak up on me like that!" I tell whoever was there.
"I'm sorry. Come inside the grounds." The voice commands and the gates open. I cautiously walk inside and I'm greeted by seven people.
"Hailea...." Some of them breathe.
"Do I know you?" I ask. They look at me sadly. Someone steps forward.
"No, but you will. I'm Samuel." The boy looks at me with eyes full of love. Who was this guy.
"Alright....why am I here?" I cross my arms over my chest. Samuel hold out his hand in a 'come with me' gesture. I hesitantly take his hand, and he leads me through a beautiful garden to a fountain. There's a floating orb there, and no people. I stop.
"I'm not going any farther until you tell me what's going on." I state.
"You went here to strike academy until only recently. Due to circumstances, you were expelled, and they wiped your memory. We have a way to bring it back for you." A kid with honey colored hair explains. My eyes widen and I look around at all of them.
"You guys are insane!" I yell and turn around to flee. Suddenly, I'm trapped by a wall of water.
"Hailea please trust us." A girl with blonde hair pleads. She looks familiar, but I couldn't place it. Who are these people?

It is time. Bring her over here to have her restored.

Samuel takes my hand and leads me to the orb. Slowly, it floats closer to me. I take a step back, but it's upon me. Piercing agony rips through my body, and I scream.

~Samuel's POV~

Her screams pierce the night sky. I desperately want to race over to her and help her, but something stops me. A pain starts welling inside me, like my soul is being affected by it. Then I remembered. Soon, when Hailea had her powers back, we would be soul mates again.

~Hailea's POV~

The pain finally dies out. I'm laying on my back breathing heavily. Samuel, Melody.....all my friends. Drew helps me up, and I look around.
"I remember everything..." I murmur. Everyone races to hug me except Samuel. Breaking away from everyone, I walk over to him. He doesn't meet my eyes, and he looks at the ground in shame.
"I'm sorry Hailea. I'm so sorry..." His voice breaks as tears fall. I pull him close to me and I hug him. Then when he looks at me I kiss him as if it was our first.
"I forgive you Sam." I murmur. A smile brightens his face and we hear a booming voice.
"How dare all of you associate with a mortal." I recognize the voice as the headmaster's.
"I'm not mortal anymore. The strength of my bonds of friendship with someone of each element allowed my powers to return." I shout. (FRIENDSHIP POWER)
"Lies." The headmaster materializes in front of us. Closing my eyes, I focus myself and when I open my eyes, send a blast of power his way. But it wasn't darkness, it was water.
"What the hell?" Melody questions. I shake my head.
"When the group sent the powers to the orb, they stayed with it and when it gave Hailea her powers back it gave ours with it. She can control all of the elements." Serena explains. The headmaster glances at all of us in turn.
"You have all broken rules. You must all be stripped of your powers. Along with every other sniveling teenager." The headmaster growls. Something clicks in my head.
"You. You're the imbalance in our world, and the one I'm supposed to stop. You have been taking away anyone's powers who caught on." I state. The headmaster smiles wickedly.
"And when their powers are drained, they belong to me. I am the most powerful being in the world." He cackles. Lightning starts striking near us.
"Everyone, come over here. We need to get away from this place." I shout over the rising wail of the wind. Sam takes my hand and grabs Serena. Eddie, Drew and Melody take each other's hands and I take Melody's remaining hand. Philip puts his hand on my shoulder and I focus on my powers, then teleport us away.

When we appear in the place I selected, everyone looks around.
"Hailea, where are we?" Philip asks.

"The one place where no one can find us. The abandoned headquarters of the Shadow Organization."

~Headmaster's POV~

She teleported those brats away. My plan was nearly perfect, but those dumb friends had to go after her. She will regret reentering our world. Soon, I will absorb her powers and crush her. I will rule the world if it's the last thing I do.
