[Virgil's POV]

Roman came back and we sat and talked to each other for a while. We spoke about how Logan and Patton met and their trip to Logan's parents and how despite how Logan acts, his parents are super nice and a lot like Patton with endless stacks of cookies. We spoke about my interest in gaming and art and how I wanted a job with videogame animation. I learnt about Roman's productions and his callback for a production he wanted a part in. I learnt about Remus and Roman's pastand how they acted as kids. Jan shared about law school and how it wasn't as fun as 'Legally Blonde' or 'How To Get Away With Murder' but he was doing well.

Eventually we wanted some food so Patton and Remus left to order for everyone.

'So Virge, who do you think are the cuter couple, Lo and Pat or Ree and Jan?' Roman said, putting his elbows on the edge of the table then resting his head on his hands.

'Well, Logan and Patton are the' two old married couple' type of pair, while Janus and Remus are the 'you can fuck anywhere if you try hard enough or if you're hard enough 'type of couple.' I said gesturing to both pairs as I spoke. Logan nodded as I pointed to him and Remus has never looked prouder as I pointed to himm. 'I have know Janus and Remus for longer but Logan and Patton are my parents.' I put my finger to my lips as I thought which pairing to pick.

'Tough choice isn't it.' Roman said.

'Patton and I are clearly the logical choice.' Logan told us, pushing up his glasses.

'Nu-uh! Me and Jan are supirior! Plus we're sexier!' Remus folded his arms.

'Patton and I are the more adorable choice, as the perfect mix of smart and domestic.'

'Jan and I complete each other cause both of us are just as demented as the other! We're matching! I am a garbage man and he is a formal snek boi'

'I don't know what that means! But anyway, Patton and I are simliar in better ways than demented for example, we both like the colour blue! We agreed we like dogs and we're planning to get one. We love cookies.' He listed them off on their fingers.

'Everyone likes cookies!' Roman and I were laughing quite a bit by this point. Logan turned to the two of us and folded his arms again.

'Well, if we're assesing couples, we need to do the same to you two.' He said. Roman and I immediatly stopped laughing.

'What?' We asked simultaneously.

'Ah yes! My brother and my best friend!' Remus said, linking his hands.

'What we talking about?' Janus and Patton sat down, quickly mentioning the food would be there in a couple minutes.

'It began about who was a cuter couple, but now we're discussing how cute Roman and Virge are!' Remus said.

'We aren't a couple!' I tried to add in.

'I think that Virge weighs out how annoying Roman is.' Janus said.

'But-'

'Oh! Oh! Roman makes Virge more confident! It's super obvious,' Patton said, clapping.

'When-'

'Just by being in the same room, Roman gets super cocky.' Remus told us, rolling his eyes.

'Yes, good observation. Their body language calms when in close proximety.' Logan added.

'This is getting silly-' Roman tried.

'They're super cute holding hands though,' Jan said.

'When?!' Patton squeeled.

'At the zoo...' I mumbled.

Not soon enough, the food came and between bites, the four kept on adding on things that made Roman and I 'the best couple.'

'So, what you fuckers are saying is that, even though we are just friends and not dating in any way at all, we are still a cuter couple.' I said, finishing my food and leaning back. Damn English food is good.

'No.' Remus said, 'We're saying you two are an adorable couple.'

'But we-'

'Shh.' Remus said, putting his finger to his lips.

'I-'

'Shhhhhh,'

'We-'

'Shhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh~' He hushed again.

'I'm not going to win this am I.' I whispered to Roman.

'Not a chance.'

We'd all finished our food so Remus went to find out when the quiz was. Roman and I were playing the slap game. I had 3 hits on him and he still hadn't dodged any soon enough.

'Okay, you're either really bad at this game or you're doing this on purpose.' I said, slapping his hands again.

'I'm just bad!' He said, slight;y high pitched. I gave him a look to say 'oh really?'

'You sure about that?' I said.

'Yes.' He nodded. I then parted my hands and clapped them around Roman's at a slow enough speed so he could dodge, yet he didn't.

'Ouch.' He mumbled.

'See? You could've moved your hands but you didn't.'

'What's going on here then?' Janus said. Roman and I turned or heads to see him. I removed my hands from Roman's hands and placed them in my lap.

'Slaps, great game.' Jan just smirked at us.

'So quiz starts in about 20 minutes! I split us into two teams! One person from each couple in each team. '

'Oh god. This is not going to be fair.' Logan mumbled.

'Well, the first team is Logan, Virgil and me!'

'What? You got Logan! No fair!' Roman whined.

'Switch?' I asked.

'Sure.' He said, 'I'll go up and tell them about the switch.'

'Move tables so we can't cheat.' Logan suggested. Paaton, Ethan and I moved to a table a couple places across. Each team got a tablet. We would put in our team names and then type in our answers which would get sent to the 'Quiz Master' which was Remy from behind the bar. He would give and take teams points as he pleased and nobody could do anything about that. First place got a blue glass, second got a spoon and third got a pat on the back. You got a point for a correct answer and the fastest team got an extra point.

'Okay guys, whats out team name?' Patton said, grinning.

'Dumbasses.' Janus and I said before pointing to each other like the spiderman meme.

'That's....A name.' Patton said before giggling and typing it in. 'A really great name.'

'I thought you wouldn't have approvied of it.' Janus said, laughing a little.

'It's quiz time bitches, so listen up.' Patton said, placing both his hands down on the table. 'I don't care what you have to do, or what you have to say but we are winning this fucking game so I can beat my handsome smartass boyfriend and in the blue glass.' Shocked couldn't begin to describe how Jan and I felt.

'We're obviously going to win. We got emo and video games from Virgil, cute stuff and pop songs and dogs from Pat, and actual logic from me.' Jan said.

'What about history? They always have a couple questions on that.' Patton said a frown forming on his face.

'I was in history club and I took history courses onine for a year bceause wars are interesting and Henry the VIII is the subject of one of my favourite musicals.' I said, suffling forwards in my chair.

'Well, if its in a musical Roman will definetly know it.' Patton sunk into his chair.

'Okay, if any topic comes up about Henry VIII or his 6 wives, I'll tell you the answer and deal with Roman myself if it comes to that.' I mumbled, glancing at the mentioned boy.

'Whatcha doing?' Patton asked.

'Just checking something...' I mumbled again. Yep. He's still hot. I turned back to my team.

'Lets beat those motherfuckers.' Janus said, giving Pat and I a high five.

~ Timeskip to when the quiz starts ~

'Hey! It's me, your queen and quiz master, Remy' He said into a microphone, twirling. 'Can all teams participating hear me?' There were cheers from all sides of the pub. 'AWESOME! I'm gonna call out team names, cheer when you hear your own!'

'First -and one I relate to - Gay Messes!' He called. Unsurprisingly, it was our gay messes. Roman and Remus cheered and Logan smiled while giving a small 'yee'.

'Next team, Anime Goals!' Four people cheered from the corner of the club. One by with fluffy green hair, one with half white half red, one with spikey red and the last has a similar style but blonde. The blonde looked wasted.

'Next team is Elmo cult?' Some people a couple tables away cheered this time. They looked kinda weird. One wore some green makeup, another had a crazy cool hoddie that was purple and teal. The third, I couldn't see very well but the were looking at some turtle pictures. I knew because every so often they'd show eyeshadow girl or hoodie kid and I'd catch a glimpse. They'd be friends with Remus.

'Fourth team! Another I relate to - Dumbasses!' The three of us cheered as loud as we could, like teams had before us. A few people around laughed at our team name choices. We decided to throw in come compliments like 'You look awesome Remy!' and 'Slay queen!'.

'Aww, thanks guys! Our fifth team, Red Mountain Dew!' Another four people cheered a couple tables away. Four boys, one in a red hoodie with white headphones, one in a blue cardigan, one in a bi-coloured tank top and another with his arm around the latter.

'And last but not least- oh nope. They dropped out. Guess it's just five tonight! Lets begin!'

Remy will be asking them but the following format is easier for me sorry-

Q1. What is the name of the band that sung 'Welcome To The Black Parade'?

I immediatly grabbed the tablet and entered the correct answer of My Chemical Romance. All teams got it correct and we got the extra point for speed.

Q2. Who is this person?

Since I already had the thing infront of me, I typed in Lin-Manuel Miranda. Three teams got it right, Roman obviously getting the speed point. The brocilli looking kid semmed happy so he probably got it right.

Q3, The first 10 didgets of Pi.

Patton grabbed the tablet and typed faster than I could proccess, mumbling '3.141592653.' So I'm guessing that was the answer. We crossed our fingers, hoping to get the faster point instead of Logan. And thanks to Patton, we did! Four teams got it.

Q4. What video game character was inspired by pizza?

I took the tablet back and inserted PacMan. Only two teams got that right, the faster point going to Red Mountain Dew. I looked over to their table and stuck my hand up in the air, giving them a thumbs-up. The guy in the red hoodie shot me a grin and returned the thumbs up. His sleeved were rolled up revealing a PacMan tattoo. He seems super cool!

Q5. Which superhero was supposed to be grey?

We each looked at each other for a moment before something clicked in Janus' head. He typed in 'The Hulk.' Four teams got that right and The guys from the team that won before looked a bit defeated. I guess they got it wrong. The anime people got that quickest.

Q6. Where are the only places you can't buy coka-cola?

Janus seemed to know and he typed in 'North Korea & Cuba'. We got the fastest point out of three teams that got it right. Elmo cultists were probably tied with us or Logan at least.

Q7. Who was the seventh president of the USA?

Janus was on a roll now, typing in Andrew Jackson. All five got it right. Logan's team got fastestpoint.

Q8. What is the dot above the letter 'i' called?

I swiftly took the tablet and typed in 'tittle'. Jan and I were giggling a little and then Patton started off. We looked over at Logan's table and he looked really stumped. Roman seemed to suddenly relise something and typed in the answer. We got it right, only our two teams, but we obviously got the faster point. I turned back to the table, waiting for the next question but Janus tapped my arm and pointed to Logan's table. I turned around and Roman was looking at me. I blushed slightly as he waved at me. I did a small wave back and turned towards the table. Patton and Jan didn't say anything, but their looks were enough.

'Shut up.' I mumbled, smiling and looking down at the tablet on the table.

Q9. What famous awards were made of wood during the World War II due to metal shortage?

I typed in The Oscars.

'World War II is my favourite,' I said, placing the tablet down again.

Unfortunetly, we didn't get the fastest point, that went to the elmo cult. But Logan also got it right, the other two didn't get it.

'And that concludes round one! Before we begin round two, let's see the scoreboard shall we?' Remy called out. 'In fifth place, we have. Red Mountain Dew!' Everyone cheered and clapped for them.

'Fourth place, we have the Anime Goals,' Everyone cheered at the same volume.

'Iiiiin third, a very respectible place, its the Elmo Cult!' More cheering.

'Second place! It is Gay messes!' Everyone gasped across the two tables. We knew we got all of them correct but the speed points were always in play, our team wasn't really keeping score.

'So in first place, for the first time - a team without the well-known Logan - we give you the Dumbasses!' We got cheers, even louder than the teams before.

'Hell yeah!' I gave Janus and Patton high fives.

'Okay everyone, have a five minute break to get refils and then we'll start round 2!' Remy called out to everyone.
