GEORGE RUSSELL IS AN UGLY, LYING, SADISTIC BITCH - to Alicia, of course. The Williams driver gave him one job. And he couldn't even do that.

It seemed as though the Mercedes driver was on a war path today at the Circuit Of The Americas.

George took Alicia out, accidentally, before they had even reached the slope section of the race. And once he had been apologetic over the radio and made it up the slope he then punted Carlos out of the way.

The Spaniards were definitely not longer 'on top' as Carlos had phrased it.

George received two penalties. And Thumbelina received a slow pit stop.

Did America have something against Alicia? Because it was sure as hell seeming that way.

After her terribly slow pit stop she was back out onto the track. Dead last.

Alicia bet that Logan Sargeant. was having the most perfect day of his life. Laughing at Alicia's misery and eyeing up that empty seat.

But, that was not what Alicia allowed herself to dwell on. She had to dwell on the fact that Lance Stroll wouldn't get out of her way. Could he not tell she was a woman on a mission?

Sure, the punting she had taken on the first lap had set her back but she wasn't just going to mope around in last for the next seventy odd laps. So, she pressed down on the throttle and decided to overtake everyone and win the race. (Yes, that's a joke. She obviously couldn't win the race but she'd definitely be getting back in the points)

Although, if she did win it would be a beautiful achievement to rub in trumpie's face.

Snap out of it Alicia!

She had people to prove wrong after all.

I recently learnt about adrenaline at school. When I say learnt, I wasn't exactly listening but I can tell you one thing for sure. There was something about COTA that filled Alicia with adrenaline. Maybe, it had to do with the fact it was enemy turf.

There was something other than a passion for the sport that drove her to succeed this weekend. And she loved it. She had been basking in it all week.

Perhaps, it was that underlying sense within her that told her she had to make the most of the few races she had left.

Alicia isn't a negative person by any means. She isn't a pessimist. She doesn't search for the bad in every scenario. But, then again, she also isn't exactly an optimist. Alicia Hugo was more of a realist.

She saw things for what they are. And she can also tell when things aren't going her way.

Succeeding today would really be the biggest middle finger could give to Williams and Logan Sargeant. If this is the decision they want to make, why not make them feel as though they've made the incorrect one?

Adrenaline was a buzz. It's what made Alicia's ears ring to the point she hadn't even realized she'd crossed the finish line.

Whoops...? (Perhaps she had been too engrossed in her petty revenge scheme)

"Alicia." Nadia's voice sung through the radio, grabbing her driver's attention after all. There was even a chuckle that followed, a pure sound of happiness and glee. "You are not going to believe this."

Alicia's eyebrows furrowed. She hadn't won, had she? "Did I win?"

To viewers it sounded as though it was a joke. But, there was pure confusion in the driver's voice. She really had no clue what position she was in!

Nadia laughed. Muffling the sounds of cheering in the background of the Williams garage. "P5, Alicia. P-FUCKING-FIVE!"

"Oh."

Oh.

A loud cheer from the Williams driver sounded as she pulled over to the side of the track, slowing down significantly to take a moment to celebrate.

"Holy shit. Holy shit. 5?! As in actual p5?!"

Nadia jumped up and down in the garage, "Yes! P5."

Ten whole points. Her highest finishing position. Her best weeknd in formula one and she only had one practice session. P-fucking-five.

P-fucking-five.

aliciahugo: this sport is hard. and at times, i'll be honest, i have hated it. but this sport, it is the love of my life. it is the only thing i am good at, it is the only job i have ever wanted.

and no, it's not a win nor is it a podium place. but it is also p-fucking-five. it's ten points. it's the pure joy of our garage for those points, it's a big fuck you to those who don't think i belong here. it's a boost. it's encouraging.

and i think it almost killed my dad when he saw me as driver of the day with ten points next to my name. (kidding, i think?)

i've had a lot of lows, in my life and in this sport. but, the moment i crossed that line and realized what position i was in, i was so happy. i genuinely cannot explain it.

i could sit hear and thank everyone. but truly it comes down to george russell plonking into me and my competitors that drive me to make drives like this. (thanks @georgerussell63)

i want more of these moments forever. maybe next week alex can join me in the points. 😉
