Why Hello...

     ~Your POV~

We were in an alley, hiding from police.

"I would like to point out, that this was your idea." I whispered to Knockout's steering wheel.

"Well, it has been awhile since we've been in a good race. I thought you would like this?"

"Not when we spend more time hiding then racing. You obviously didn't hear me when I said 'Cops gone rogue'."

"I thought you meant that they had defected over to the life of adrenaline and fun."

I just rolled my opti... eyes. Wow, the more time I spend with Knockout the more I seem to think of myself as one of his kind, though it's not to bad. I mean, I wish I was, than us being together might sound a bit less... strange to people, and Cybertronians, who know. But who am I to care? If we stay together, than it really shouldn't matter all that much should it?

"They're gone." Knockout pulled me from my thoughts.

"Hang on," I pulled out my data pad, "If I'm correct, they make one more round, until they give up. If we want to be safe, we should stay here another hour or so."

"And when were you ever in the right mind to want to be safe?"

         "Never."

Knockout turned his headlights on, and soon we were racing down the streets to the real reason we were out past the city limits.

Coming to a stop, we had made it to the power plant without difficulty. Knockout transformed to his bi-ped mode, leaving me on the ground. He moved slowly and cautiously, making sure not to bump anything or squash me. I on the other hand, was already climbing up the stairs to check the cameras in the security room, why no one was there, I have no clue, but it made things much easier for me.

"All clear Knockout." I whispered when he got close enough.

"Not quite,"A baritone voice, unfamiliar, and practically dripping in venom as the owner of said voice showed himself, "You will not be acquiring what you want tonight Knockout."

All I could do was stare at the blue and red mech. He seemed to be alone.

"Well KNOCK me OUT and call me an Autobot! Is that the pain in the aft you keep talking about?!"

I hopped onto my Devil Car, finding my rightful place near his neck cables. Optimus simply stood there, tacken aback by my now naturaly occuring Cybertronian profanity. Knockout started laughing his tailpipe off.

"OH MY PRIMUS! I CAN'T BELIEVE YOU SAID THAT RIGHT IN FRONT OF HIM! HAAAAAHAHAHA! HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN SAYING THAT AGAIN?!"

I counted my fingers, then my toes. Knockout laughed even harder, getting the message.

"So, why are you here Prime?" I asked, Knockout still doubled over in laughter, me trying hard not to fall.

For awhile he said nothing, just stared at us, the odd couple. He finally stated his business, simply being to stop us from out goal: taking down the power plant.

"Well, we need a certain part, but this place is the only way to get it. If the power goes out, the back-up generators are ripe for the picking. With a few simple adjustments, they'll make perfect instruments of mass destruction."

I never said what, exactly, we were destroying with said instrument.

"Do you realize whose side you are on young lady?"

"Oh well aware, Knockout told me about the whole 'we don't care about the human race' thing, and frankly, I agree. Who needs human kind when you can have one of the best love stories you could ask for!"

Knockout was silent, no longer going through his fit of laughter, slight lingering energon tears in his eyes. I kissed his faceplate making his cooling fans kick in.

"Now, if you'll excuse us, we have a power plant to power down."

Knockout transformed, driving right around Optimus, who tried his best not to shoot directly at us or a building on the way.

We weaved through buildings and dodged blasts as more Autobots came from no where.

"PRIMUS! What do they do? Spawn from the metal around us?"

"THAT conversation we'll save for a later date!"

We rounded a corner, only to find a rather fat looking olive Autobot in the way, one of his servos a huge mace.

         "Peek a boo!"

He swung low, only to have Knockout go up and over him, his true form twisting to gain momentum in the air. I simply smirked at the fat mech, his optics one of surprise, and anger for the fact that he missed.

"We're almost there Knockout!" I exclaimed, pointing towards the main line of the powerplant.

He made a break for it, wanting to get there before anyone noticed where they were exactly. To late, we were stopped by the two-wheeler: Arcee.

"Well, ain't it the famous two-wheeler. How's 'J' doing? I hope he's in good health!" I teased, knowing full well that she hated the nickname 'J' gave me to call him, "I hope you yourself aren't showing SIGNS of illness."

This made her VERY angry, still somewhat ticked about the fact that I had forced her off the road without knowing.

"What? Scraplet ate your voice box?"

She said nothing, simply glaring at me from her glowing optics.

         "Sling-shot?" I asked knockout.

"We haven't perfected that move yet." He said, not taking his optics away from Arcee, her weapons aimed right at us.

"Well, I guess we'll just have to perfect it right now won't we?"

He nodded, taking me off his shoulder.

I rolled into a ball, gently held in Knockout's servo. Before Arcee knew it, I was over her, then behind her.

"TAKE THAT YOU TWO-WHEELER!" I ran before she started after me in her motorcycle form. Before she reached me, I used the tiny cutting laser to sevour through the large cord, the entire plant going offline sooner then I had thought.

I couldn't see anything in the perpetual darkness that surrounded me. I could hear pede steps close by, but I saw nothing, not even the small red lights of Knockout's optics. It was suicide to turn on my data pad, or the tiny flashlight I brought along. I'll have to ask Knockout to help me create some sort of Comm device for my ear later. For now I will have to deal with... a bright light coming straight at me?! Scrap, those aren't his lights! I know my Aston Martin's lights, and those aren't his! I ran, and ran, faster, faster! Once behind a large building, or what I thought to be a large building, I took the chance of taking out my data pad. No one seemed to notice, and I soon found Knockout's signal. He was hiding in an alley. Huh, must be deja vu for him!

Following the map, I checked for Autobots. None. Continuing, I decided to go up high. No one will be looking for me there, so it's perfect! Now for a way up... A ladder would work right about now. I lifted up the now fully bright piece of tech to see better. I didn't find a ladder, but I did find a pipe that went all the way up to the roof of the building right across from me. I made a mental note of where I was before turning the Data Pad off. It went offline just in time as a semi rolled passed, making my breath hitch as I prayed to Primus that I wouldn't be noticed. I wasn't.

I climbed the rusty pipe, making sure most of my weight was being held by my arms, and not my feet as they steadied me on the creaking metal tube. The climb was long, or rather, it felt long. When I finally made it to the roof of the building, my arms felt like lead, and I was breathing quite abnormally. Looking at the Data Pad again, I made sure that Knockout was in the spot he was previously. He was, and I started my journey toward him. Carefully, I ducked when someone rolled by, and ran when no one was around. When I had to jump to another roof, I did so just before another Autobot rolled around, wanting more of an adrenaline rush as they missed by seconds.

"Fools, I hope you all end up scrap." I whispered into the air.

As soon as I made it to the roof right over Knockout, I jumped down, barrel rolling on the hard concrete, making my Devil Car jump slightly, his alt mode moving forward ever so slightly.

          "(Y/N)? Is that you?!"

"No, it's Megatron. YEAH IT'S ME YOU CHERRY!" I whisper yelled.

"Would you stop calling me that?"

"Shut up, we're not safe here. The Autobots are closing in, slowly, and we need at least one generator, they should be coming online in three... two... one."

Sure enough, the lights came on in a flash. Though they were dimmer, and fewer lights were on, they allowed us to see once again.

I hopped into Knockout's driver's seat, him burning rubber as soon as his door shut. This, of course, lead to the Autobots finding us.

         "GET GOING! FASTER!"

"I can't go full speed or else I'll lose control! We'll spin out and you'll end up jailed for treason to human kind!"

"There's no such sentence for that! NOW GET GOING!"

I stepped on his gas pedal resulting in a rather irritated Knockout to make a sharp turn to the right, making me fall into his passenger seat. When I brought myself upright, I found a seat-belt around my waist. I pulled at it, but it didn't budge.

"Knockout! Let me go! HEY! ARE YOU LISTENING?!"

He ignored me! HOW RUDE! Here I am, trying to help, and he ignores me.

The Autobots had split up behind us. I knew how they would attack. First Arcee, then the Scout, the fat mech, and lastly Optimus, knowing Knockout to be tired, and losing the energy to fight for any longer.

"At least listen to my instructions and go right! Arcee went left so turn right!"

He did, not saying a word.

"Go straight then take a left at the next opening!"

He listened.

"We're almost there! Don't be stubborn and keep me strapped to your seat, we need that generator!"

He gave no response, but transformed into his bi-ped mode, sending me flying in the air. Luckily he caught me, I looked up in thanks, only getting a scowl in return. I felt something I hadn't in a long while. What was that feeling again, I know it has a name.

Knockout bent down and ripped one of three generators from it's foundation, the only thing left behind was the connectoins that allowed them to power up the entire facility.

"I'll call for a groundbridge." I replied softly.

Just before the Autobots became close enough to capture us, Knockout leaped into the groundbridge, leaving the Autobots in a defeated state. The first Con to meet us was Soundwave, his visor blank and unreadable. Knockout held up the generator, me in his opposite hand, sitting down in a solemn silence.

Soundwave simply nodded, his visor still blank. Knockout nodded back, then left for his destination I assume to be the medbay. To my surprise, he stopped in our berthroom, setting me down next to my small area on a shelf.

"Knockout I-" he left without a word, leaving me with only one: regret.

(Yes guys, there was a fourth wall break. XD It was subtle, but there none the less. If you missed it... oh well! Thank you for reading! I hope to keep this story going as long as possible! Anywho, thanks for reading! Love ya'll!)
