Insider's Out-take

~Knockouts POV~

"Well this is just dandy!" I hollered within the safety of my berthroom, (Y/N) trying to read her data pad on her bed, the small hidden shelf open.

"It's not like we're completely against them." She shrugged, and I sighed, finally sitting down after what feels like an entire cycle of pacing.

"That may be so, but now Megatron will be insufferable! You're in more danger than ever!"

Putting my helm in my servos, I huffed and started to think of ways to get (Y/N) out of this situation. It doesn't help that the Insecticons wants to meet with her as well, though we haven't agreed on a time yet.

I heard the tiny sigh of the woman I've come to love, and the slamming of her data pad on the dresser. I didn't turn around, not wanting her to see my faceplate. She didn't need to worry right now...

         "Holoform. Now."

I couldn't help but turn to her command.

"How is being in my holoform going to help matters?"

"Just do it you cherry, or else I'll go get Wildstryke instead."

Knowing that to be a legitimate threat, I laid down on my berth and activated my holoform on her shelf.

         "Once again, I don't see-"

"Sit down," she commanded, and I did, though not without a defiant sigh, onto her bed.

I was about to make another retort when she slid up behind me and started to massage my shoulders, and to be honest, it kinda hurt...

"Is this supposed to help me?"

"It will in a minute," was the surprisingly soft reply, "You're stressed, and that shows in both forms."

I let her continue, soon finding myself leaning into her touch as she softened the kneading of my holoformic skin. She worked at my neck, and shoulders, and even scratched my back after a little while. The simple, soft gliding of her fingers worked wonders as she went back to my shoulders. I was surprised when she didn't stop there and wrapped her arms in front of my chest.

         "Better?" She hummed.

          "Much."

She kissed my cheek, and I flipped her over, and onto my lap, making her squeak in surprise. A devilish grin met my features when she glared at me playfully.

"I like this tender side of you." I admitted.

"And I like this vulnerable side of you." I could tell she was making fun of me as she patted my cheek.

"I'll show you 'vulnerable'." I smirked and tossed her on the bed, making her squeak and laugh once more, "Prepare for surgery my darling." I growled as I came closer to her floundering self.

"Don't you dare you aft whole!"

I was about to start tickling her, something I had come to enjoy. I liked to call it her 'torture time'. Sadly the few minutes of bliss I had planned was interrupted with the seemingly to familiar interruption of Roman.

         "Am I, interrupting something?"

"Not anymore," I grumbled, and turned to the automatonic boy, seeing the huge smirk on his holoform.

"Well, now that you're not preoccupied anymore, Megatron's found a very interesting new experiment for you."

This intrigued me, and my curiosity spiked.

"Thank Primus! Someone else you can torture!"

I tried to grab (Y/N) before she got away, but the amalgamate of Cybertronian and Human aspects slipped from my fingers.

"But you're my favorite subject." I grinned at her, my holoform fizzling away. I sat up on my berth, the same grin on my faceplate.

"Yeah well find a new one, cause this degree is about to slap you into next week." She huffed, making me snicker.

"Ah, but I haven't even gotten close to my doctorate yet."

         "Are you nerds done flirting?"

"No," (Y/N) and I answered in unison, making the both of us laugh.

Once our mirth died down, I watched as her small form went from the fire pole to the zip line, and then buried in the large stack of pillows in a corner. She laughed as a blanket stuck to her head, making her (H/C) hair stick up with static.

"I'm going to get Wildstryke, I want to see who's in the med bay."

         "Autobot most likely."

Slightly rooting for them or not, this will be fun.

"Yep," she popped the 'P', "And I'm going to show just how 'Con-like I can be."

         "You snake."

"Would you expect anything lesssss?" She winked at me, and started off down the hall after I had opened my door for her.

         "You guys are weird."

I suddenly regret creating that stupid pile of parts.

~(Y/N)'s POV~

Once my conscienceness was transferred, I immediately left for the med bay. I wonder who they caught... Arcee? That would be fun. Bulkhead? Hm, a possibility with his clumsiness. Bee? I certainly hope not... but if so I'll treat him nicely. Maybe Ratchet? Yeah, no I'd be hearing his hollers for release already, the stubborn old fool. Optimus would be interesting, but I'd regret anything later on, knowing his thoughts about justice, but then again, he might show me mercy for who I am, not what, of course, only Knockout knows about what I am. Wheeljack would be interesting, though I've only heard stories.

Turning the last corner, I displayed one of my best Decepticon smiles, and entered, finding that no Autobot I knew had the unfortunate fate of being on Knockout's dissection table.

         "Wait... you're that neutral!"

"Ugh, seriously? Name's Wildstryke. How 'bout yours hun?"

         "Smokescreen. Help me out of-"

"Smokescreen? Interesting name," I interrupted him as I smiled sweetly, "Autobot is my guess."

"Yeah, and I can get us out of here if you-"

"You know I've visited the Autobot base a couple times. A little drab in my opinion, could use some flare. You should let Miko fix up the place."

I watched his faceplate contort as frustration set in. I was somewhat disappointed when Knockout ended my fun.

"Took you long enough." He chuckled.

"Sorry, but some of us like to look our best when facing a prisoner." I smiled up at him, and he stole a kiss, to which Smokescreen gagged.

         "Why him?"

I ignored the rude comment, and looked to Knockout's arm.

         "New toy?"

He nodded.

"It's called a Phase Shifter. Beautiful isn't it?"

He admired the new accessory, and I rolled my red optics at him and his diva-like antics.

"I'll see you later Devil Car." I winked, and started to go around the Nemesis, just walking.

I decided to check on Soundwave, who was doing just fine as he tapped away at his computers, most likely noticing, but not acknowledging, my presence. Then I went to find Dreadwing, who was busy teaching a pair of inexperienced vehicons. I waved, and he waved back with the smallest of smiles. I laughed as he was hit in the helm by one of the drones, who recoiled when Dreadwing growled at him. Leaving them to continue, I started to simply wander, thinking of anything really. Minor matters, major matters, fantasies, and things that I felt would never come to pass, things I longed for, but may never have. Things that, really shouldn't bother me, but they do. Things that worry me, trouble me, urk me, anger me, infuriate me! Shaking my helm, I transitioned to other thoughts, like what to do about the newbie. He seemed nice enough. Since he called me 'the neutral' I guess he either forgot about my story or wasn't told the whole of it. Either way, it'll be nice to toy with him for awhile, only to release him and act all nice. Good cop, bad cop, with a twisted grin and gentle heart... Heart... yeah... a human aspect. A curse I must live with.

I was torn from my toxic thoughts as a sharp jolt found it's way to my side, and I found that up in the air is not a place a car wants to be when free-falling...

         "SMOKESCREEN?! WHAT THE FRAG?!"

He laughed as we continued to free fall, still holding my side.

         "WHERE'S KNOCKOUT?!"

"STUCK IN A WALL!" He laughed once more, and I pushed myself away from him.

"YOU BETTER HAVE A PLAN FOR THIS PREDICAMENT!"

I growled at him as his faceplate fell to a panicked expression. Then I saw a vehicon... falling faster than us... I commed Megatron.

"That better not have been Steve!"

         |: This better not have been your idea. :| He growled.

"My idea? WHY WOULD I GIVE HIM A PHASE SHIFTER?!"

With that I disconnected, and looked back over to Smokescreen, noticing he was talking to someone through his own comm link. Smiling, I looked up, and found my life line.

"See ya later 'Smoke." I took hold of a passing seeker drone, making him lose his balance for a second, "Sorry..." I cringed. Looking down I saw the quickly receding ground, and dropped on the launch pad of the Nemesis. At this point in time, I didn't care what happened to the rookie, I wanted to find Knockout. Sliding around a corner, I found part of him sticking out of a wall, just as Smokescreen said.

"You know, I'd say love knows no barriers, but this wall has you beat."

He glared at me with a very unimpressed expression, making me laugh as I inspected the wall.

"Megatron claims that I'll stay here for the rest of my life cycle."

"Not if I can help it." I sighed, "We could try and break the wall down... but I don't want to damage your finish... and the mess would be a problem..."

I was still brain-storming when Megatron made his appearence.

"It appears we will be needing you for a very important endeavor." he claimed.

"Of course, but Knockout needs assistance-"

"He will stay in that wall as long as he is still online." Megatron interrupted, and I growled, gritting my teeth.

"Sorry, but I won't help you until my sparkmate, is released from this wall."

"You will mind your tongue Wildstryke, in case you forgot, I am still leader of this faction." He glared at me, but I didn't stand down as most would, no, I retaliated.

"And in case you forgot, I am under no one's leadership, be it yours, or the Prime's, so I will not comply until my one demand is met."

The war lord merely huffed, and stalked off down the hall, giving no comment to my statement. I turned, and noticed the silent, and unmoving vehicons that had followed him. Taking one warning step, they scattered like ants, and I was left alone with Knockout.

"That was a dangerous act, Wildstryke." He sighed.

"Not any more dangerous than the other stunts I've pulled."

I took his servo into mine as I leaned against the wall he was stuck in.

"And all this for a stupid set of keys?" I asked him, to which he sighed sadly, "Sorry..."

It was silent for a time, until I asked another question.

"If it really came down to it, who's rule would you prefer? Optimus', or Megatron's?"

(Let's just call this a teaser for what's to come. ;D I kinda stock-piled on the chapters a bit, so there will be more later today! Thanks for sticking with me! I made the picture myself, and thought it went well with the chapter. The hair is not colored because it acts as your holoform. Thanks once again! Drive safely my racers!)
