Experimentation

~(Y/N)'s POV~

"And you're absolutely sure you fixed all the bugs?" I asked Knockout as he hid behind a steel wall, a single opening to allow sight through the massive piece of metal.

"Yes, I'm sure. This is only a precaution."

Though I couldn't see him, I guessed he gestured to the wall he hid behind.

"We've tried the new weaponry at least eight times, and seven times I've had my arm almost blown off!" Crossing my arms, I glared at the red optics that peered through the whole, "Look, I'm not testing the new weapons until you now for a fact that all the bugs have been worked out. I might not be a true Cybertronian, but I can still feel pain."

I heard Knockout give a tremendous sigh as he rolled his optics.

"I know for a fact that all the bugs have been found, and eradicated." He said slowly, cause that's going to convince me.

Shaking my helm, I aimed at the target displayed on the wall of the testing area. I honestly didn't know there was such a room, but low and behold, there was. I aimed carefully, taking my time...

Wait...

Wait...

Patience...

KRAKOOM!

Though the blast was powerful, no recoil came from it as most would.

"Well, it's nice to know the bugs are gone..." I heard Knockout observe, "But I do believe I overlooked the, um..." He didn't continue. He didn't need to. I saw that my aim needed work as a gaping hole revealed itself once the smoke cleared. I had missed the target by at least 6 feet despite my aiming. I waved at a Vehicon, smiling sheepishly. Said drone only fell to the floor, stunned, but not dead, thank Primus.

         "I aimed too..."

Scratching the back of my helm, a examined the blaster that my servo was replaced with temporarily.

"Try transforming it back, I think I solved that problem..."

Once again, not very reassuring.

Focusing on my blaster, I made it revert back to my servo, no complications this time (the last time it was stuck between the transformation... let's just say, 'Ow').

         "Good, now try the blades."

         "Are you sure?"

"Yes I'm sure. This time I definitely know I fixed the problem.

As confident as that time was, I still was wary.

This time I focused on my wrists, and watched in anticipation as two blades shot out with exuberant speed, as if they couldn't wait for their first taste of energon on their tips.

"Hey, it didn't hurt that time," I observed.

"Yes, I found that some of your armor was being cut by the blade, so I filed it down. It's enough so that it will no longer hurt, but not so much that you're left vulnerable."

"The blades cover my wrist anyway, so it's not like someone can brake through that, it's to thick."

"Perhaps, but I didn't want to take any unnecessary risks."

Shrugging at this, I examined the blades. They extended a good length past my servos, enough to have the honed tip extend past Soundwave's chest plates if I stabbed him. Not that I would, he's to much of a sweet heart... well, sweet spark to be biologicaly correct. They were a simple tapered point, steel grey. I made them sparkle in the dim light of the testing room as I admired the light red outline on the edge.

"I still don't understand why you put that red decal at the edge of the blade."

"Thought you'd like it," he answered, "Matches your finish~."

He dragged a digit gently across my lower jaw, making my cooling fans kick in as I looked up at him.

         "Y-you're teasing me again."

"Only because it's so much fun, you've become more... susceptible to it."

He tried to kiss me, but I stopped him with a simple tap of my blade to his chin.

"You think it was going to be that easy?" I purred.

"Of course not," He grabbed hold of my arm, twisting me so my back was to him. He quickly took hold of my other arm, so now I was trapped in his hold, "That's why I prepared for the worst." He squeezed my wrists, making the blades go back, dormant once again.

         "What the-"

"A pressure point. It's natural, don't worry, though, you are with me, so maybe you should."

"I've got nothing to worry about," I grinned, feeling his chassis on my back plates as he breathed, slowly, "You're to nice~"

         "Oh?"

I flipped him over my back, surprising him as he landed on his aft. Twisting his arm, I immobilized him as his own servos became his cuffs. I held them firmly as I placed a knee to his back plates.

         "See? You let me win."

"Now who says that?" He taunted.

         "Call it a hunch."

Taking my weight off his back, I allowed him to get up from the floor. He stood to his full height, making me look up once again.

         "You're a servo-full, I hope you know." He chuckled.

"Well," I stepped a bit closer, "I guess you'll just have to put that in my job description won't you?"

I tried to kiss him like he did me, standing at the tips of my pedes, but I was stopped by a single digit to my lips.

"You think it was going to be that easy?" He chuckled, mocking me.

"Of course not, though it was worth a try."

I took Knockout's arm as we headed to the door, though I had to let go before we left the room. None to soon, the door opened to reveal Megatron standing right outside, about to come in.

"Done already? I was hoping to see the new upgrades." He mused.

"Sorry to disappoint, but it went better then expected." I answered.

"Oh? Does this mean the upgrades are finished?" He seemed rather interested... and he was talking to me rather than Knockout... This is really creeping me out.

"No, a few adjustments to help my aim and then everything will be in order." I informed, rubbing my wrist where the blade had retracted. "Was there anything else?"

"No..." The war lord seemed hesitant in his answer, "Though Arachnid would like an audience with you."

I thought for a moment. An audience now would mean less time to prepare later (well duh)... that and Knockout needed to fix the thing that helped with my aim, whatever that was.

"I'm afraid I can't at the moment... I don't want to be in a state of weakness upon meeting a potential friend or rival."

This made Megatron chuckle, "Ever on your guard. A trait to be admired."

"Flattery will get you no where."

Both mech's were astonishment as I bypassed Megatron as if he was just another Vehicon, Knockout trailing after me not two long after. I looked back only once. I shouldn't have. The last thing I saw on the warmonger's faceplate was the smile of someone who had won. What he thinks he won, I have no clue, but I think I somehow confirmed it by looking back...

(Tada! Another chapter! Sorry but not sorry for the tear jerkers. Hope you like the story! Comment if you have anything to suggest! No guarantees they'll be used, but I'd love to see what your ideas are! Thanks for reading!)
