Jisung was quietly working on his desk. Papers, open books and a laptop were scatter around his desk without any kind of system, yet the warlock with blue hair was perfectly capable of finding the paper he needed or his pen to note something down onto a sticky note.

It wasn't too long ago that he and Minho came home with their little baby. It was a girl as Jisung had figured out when he scanned her when they were still at the lab. He had told Minho this information in the car. And yes, unlike some of their group members (read Jeongin and Seungmin) Jisung and Minho were of the opinion that their sleeping baby shouldn't be transported via magic when she was asleep.

A smile planted itself onto the warlock's lips the second he thought of his little daughter. He was almost sad that she had fallen asleep in the lab with the rest of the babies, because he would have loved to play with her for a while despite the lack of baby furniture or toys in the house. They would go get baby equipment as soon as their daughter was a bit rested. There was no denying that Jisung, Seungmin and Jeongin had to do further research into the spell they had used to create the little ones, but if the warlock was sure of one thing then that being created by magic was exhausting.

Jisung caught himself reading the paper in front of him for the third time now, but he had no clue what it was about besides what the title indicated. The warlock let a sigh escape his lips. He had been distracted. Again. He should be noting down his observations from today's event and do some further research, but here he was thinking about his little daughter without getting anything done. Maybe he should join Minho in watching over her. He could also get some cuddles out of his husband, which would be nice after they had been rudely awoken by Seungmin's call this morning.

The thought of cuddling up to Minho while watching over their baby girl finalize his decision. Minho would probably tease him about being a workaholic though, but there was no way of getting around that anyway.

The warlock pushed himself away from his desk and stretched his arms for a bit before shutting down his laptop and quickly sorting some of the papers on his desk, so he wouldn't hate himself for it later. With his desk being cleaned up enough for later use, he stood up and made his way out of his office and into the bedroom he shared with Minho.

The Han-Lee residence was two story building with a bit too much space for just a married couple, which was the reason for both Jisung and Minho to have a rather spacious office despite the older of the two not really needing one. Jisung used his quite frequently because of the research projects he did with Seungmin and his own projects which involved working with potions. Though, the warlock did have a little lab for that in the basement.

Sometimes, Jisung felt really spoiled when he thought about the size of his house. Sure, it didn't get close to the mansion of the Kim family or the castles that were in Changbin's kingly possession, but it was still big considering that Jisung grew up in a very small apartment with his uncle.

A little shudder ran down Jisung's spine just thinking of his uncle or his family in general. To all the gods he would make extra sure that his daughter never even knew of his part of the family unless it was absolutely necessary. Minho's parents on the other hand would be introduced to their granddaughter at the first chance they got.

After going up the stairs to the second floor, the door to Jisung and Minho's bedroom came into view. The warlock couldn't help but smile again when he thought about the two people behind that door. Ever since Jisung had laid eyes on his little girl, he couldn't help but think that he kind of felt the same connection with her as with Minho. It was a bit weird, but also really fascinating. He felt a deep connection with Minho because the older male was his soulmate (and love of his life regardless of their souls being connected). So, what if for some reason he also had a type of soul-connection with his daughter because she had been created through a part of his magic? It was definitely a thought Jisung wanted to entertain further, but for now he wanted cuddles.

Jisung opened the door to the bedroom as quietly as possible and poked his head through the door before fully entering. The second Jisung saw Minho and their daughter his heart was close to busting.

Minho was laying on the bed, eyes closed, with their baby girl sleeping on his chest. His husband's hands rested protectively on the baby's back. It seemed like Minho was shielding their little baby and it was very adorable in the humble opinion of the warlock in the doorway.
Jisung wanted to squeal at his husband and daughter's cuteness so bad, but he would hate himself if he woke either of them. So, instead he decided he would use the sudden burst of energy to race back to his office, get his phone and take a million pictures of the scene before him.

With his phone in hand, he re-entered the bedroom as quietly as a cat and began taking way more picture than necessary of his sleeping husband and daughter. Of course, he had and sound turned off and no flash on. If either of those things would be activated and wake his two sleeping angels on accident, then he would probably throw his phone.

When Jisung got to the bedside to take some close-up picture of the two, his ears registered a faint purring noise. For a moment, the warlock's brain malfunctioned and he wondered if there was a cat nearby until it finally hit him that Minho was the one purring.

The camera was lowered while Jisung's gaze remained focused on his husband and child. As far as he knew cat hybrids only purred around loved ones, which for most was their family.

Minho purring wasn't something uncommon for Jisung because the older tended to do it whenever they cuddled at home, and sometimes the warlock had even heard his husband purr when they had visited the older's parents. Jisung was also pretty sure that at one point, Minho had also purred when they had hung out with all of Stray Kids.

But in all honesty, Jisung had never thought that Minho would be purring with their daughter on his chest on the first day of having her with them.

Jisung would be the biggest liar on the world if he said it didn't warm his heart to see the two of them like this. He would also lie if he said he had to blink away some tears because this was his family, his husband and daughter.

The warlock sniffled lightly, and crouched beside the bed to be on eye level with his sleeping family. Jisung softly cooed when he saw that his little daughter was holding Minho's shirt in her little hand. Maybe this was the reason Minho had laid down with her. She had never let go of him since he had picked her up.

"I love you two so much. You have no idea," Jisung whispered to them, being barely audible to his own ears. It really was a shame that his husband's hearing was a lot better than his own.

"You can say that you our awake faces too," Minho mumbled and Jisung almost let out a loud yelp, but he suppressed it fast enough. Though, it didn't help his quickly beating heart nor the fact that he was now sitting on the ground instead of crouching beside the bed.

Minho cracked an eyes open, amusement shining in his brown orbs. Jisung really wanted to curse at him in that moment. How dare he scaring him half to death? He could have had an heart attack!

"You are not as funny as you think you are," Jisung huffed at his husband. Minho let out an amused chuckle while his purring continued on normally. Jisung never understood how cats could meow while purring, so he never questioned how cat hybrids could do the exact same thing just with talking.

"I think I'm hilarious," Minho purred, a smug smile forming on his lips. Jisung thought about reaching over his husband to get his pillow and smack him in the face with it, but that could wake the little girl sleeping on the cat hybrid's chest, so the warlock just flicked his Minho's forehead. Minho merely chuckled at the light flick to his forehead, no real damage done.

Jisung pretended to scowl at the older male before he relaxed his facial features when his eyes dropped to the little girl on his husband's chest. He never could take his eyes off her, could he? To the gods, he had sold his soul to this little child. If she was smart, she will figure this out and use his weakness against him someday. He will never be able to say no to her.

The warlock with the blue hair, settled down beside the bed, just watching the baby girl for a bit before his eyes trailed up to meet the brown orbs of his husband. Minho was watching the little girl too. His brown orbs holing nothing short of complete gentleness and love. He looked away from the baby on his chest and towards Jisung when he felt the warlock's eyes on him.

Just from their eye contact they knew what the other was thinking. They were both entirely smitten for this little girl. There was no use attempting to deny it. They would protect her from everything that would be thrown her way.

"How can we be so utterly smitten for her when we don't even have a name for her?" Minho chuckled, breaking their eye contact to look back at the little girl. Jisung huffed in light amusement, leaning his head onto the side of the bed and Minho's shoulder while looking at their baby girl.

"We could come up with a name now," Jisung suggested, laying his hand on top of Minho's. His husband's hands were always very warm. It was comforting and let a feeling of safety wash over Jisung. He really couldn't blame his daughter for sleeping so soundly right now, he was beginning to feel drowsy himself.

"I'm not really creative when it comes to names," Minho breathed lightly, his chest moving a bit, yet the purring never stopped. It had even gotten a bit louder ever since Jisung had laid his hand on top of Minho's.

Jisung hummed in thought, trying to come up with a good name. He wanted his daughter to have name with meaning, because in just a day she had managed to steal his and Minho's heart. She has to be awarded for that.

"Hyunae," the warlock mumbled after a short silence. His sky-blue eyes softened while looking at the little girl with cat ears and blue hair. "Meaning loving and wise," he added in a whisper like it was a secret only for his family to hear.

"Hyunae," Minho hummed and Jisung could feel his husband nudge his head gently, "a pretty name for a pretty girl."

Jisung huffed with mild amusement and wanted to retort something, but Hyunae stirred. Her eyes blinked open, revealing the deep chocolate brown color of her father's eyes. Jisung smiled when the baby's eyes fell onto him.

"Hey there, Hyunae," he said to the little girl. He let his hand slip off Minho's and gently patted his daughter's head, fingers sorting through her short, soft blue hair. "Did you sleep well?," he asked, not really expecting an answer from the little girl. Hyunae blinked tiredly at him and yawned. Jisung chuckled, taking that as a "Not enough". He couldn't blame her though sleeping on Minho was too comfy of ever having enough of it.

"I think she wants to continue sleeping," Minho breathed, his thump stroking Hyunae's back gently. The little girl mewled tiredly, her eyes dropping close again as she snuggled back into the warmth Minho was providing her and promptly fell back asleep.

Jisung let out a soft chuckle. Hyunae really was tired, but who wasn't on the day of their birth? The warlock himself got more tired the longer he spent in the room with his husband and daughter. Maybe he should take a nap too before doing anything else.

A nudge to his head let Jisung's attention wander from Hyunae back up to Minho's face. A soft, warm smile was evident on Minho's face and Jisung felt the warmth in his chest bloom to the fullest. There were just no words to describe his love for Minho, for his daughter, for the family he never had while growing up.

"I love you," the love declaration left Jisung's lips without the warlock fully realizing it. It made the smile on Minho's lips soften even further.

"I love you too," the cat hybrid purred, gently bumping his head against Jisung's. The warlock felt his eyes sting for no reason. There was no reason to get overly emotional now. He had told Minho more than once that he loved him and the cat hybrid had done the same to him. It was nothing new at all, yet Jisung's chest was warmed with emotions and his eyes stung with unshed tears.

"Now, get in bed already, idiot," Minho chuckled, his voice teasing yet his eyes betrayed him with the amount of adoration reflecting in the pool of chocolate brown. Jisung huffed in faked annoyance before complying and joining his husband and daughter in bed without waking the sleeping little girl.

The warlock settled down beside Minho, habitually pressing a kiss to his husband's cheek. The purring of the other got a tad louder for a heartbeat before settling back into the previous volume, which to be entirely honest was still pretty loud.

Jisung put his head on Minho's shoulder, the scent of his husband giving him a certain amount of comfort despite not having an enhanced sense of smell like other creatures. He put his hand over the one of Minho that was resting on Hyunae's back. The cat hybrid's hands was still incredible warm underneath Jisung's hand, it basically served Hyunae as a very warm blanket.

A content sigh escape Jisung as he looked at his sleeping daughter once more. He let his thump stroke over Minho's chuckles, which earned him a kiss to his hair line from his husband.

The warmth of his family nearby and safe, and Minho's warm body beside him, slowly lulled Jisung into a deep, restful sleep.
