Hyunjin and Felix were perfect together, so perfect.

They'd go on little dates and do small things for their 6 month, one year up till their two year anniversary. It was about a week after their two year anniversary that Hyunjin noticed something was off.

'Hey babe, are you okay?" Hyunjin said a full week after their one year anniversary.

'What would you do if I died tomorrow?' Felix asked seriously.

'I would die too' and Hyunjin was serious.

'No, no don't do that. If I died before you, I'd want you to love the happiest life you can without me' Felix smiled, but it didn't seem right.

It seemed fake.

'But promise me something...if I happen to die before you...never forget me alright? Never forget us...' Felix looked so serious that it almost scared Hyunjin.

'Of course baby boy, I'd never forget you' Hyunjin smiled lovingly, 'but we will die together...right?' Hyunjin had asked.

'Yeah...of course we will...till death to us part and all that' Felix giggled.

Hyunjin should've taken that as a sign that something was very wrong, because just four days later, Felix's body was found underneath a bridge. He had jumped off the same bridge Hyunjin saved him from just two years prior, when Hyunjin confessed his feelings for Felix.

Hyunjin didn't know how to handle this, and for the next week he locked himself in his room until the day of Felix's funeral came.

And there Hyunjin had stood in the pouring rain in a black suit, the rain falling at the same speed as his salty, hot tears. He could hear his heart thudding painfully against his chest as he remembered that day...

Two years prior...

Felix walks across the bridge to that one particular spot; the spot he'd sit on overlooking the bright lights of the city...the spot he'd think about jumping off.

Felix climbed up, this time standing up on the edge. He was going to do it. He was finally going to end his pain.

"Felix, wait!" Hyunjin yelled as he ran over to Felix.

"Hyunjin, don't try and stop me!" Felix yelled back, tears in his eyes.

"Please, don't do this. What about Jisung? Minho hyung? Channie hyung? What about me!? Do you have any idea what you'd do to me if you jumped!?" Hyunjin cried out.

"Why do you even care!?" Felix shouted back, "I was nothing to you for years, why do you suddenly feel obligated to save me!?" Felix exclaimed, upset and angry.

"Because I love you okay!? I love you...so much" Hyunjin fell to his knees, tears rolling down his cheeks.

Felix froze, and his mind automatically went to 'no, he's lying'. But, the belief that Hyunjin really did love him made him step down from the edge, run over to Hyunjin and kneel down with him, wrapping his arms around Hyunjin.

"I'm sorry Hyunjinnie. I'll never leave you...I promise"

Flashback end

Hyunjin fell to his knees in front of Felix's grave. Everyone else had left, and he was alone at the grave site.

"You idiot" Hyunjin muttered, salty tears rushing down his cheeks, "you promised me, you said you wouldn't leave me" Hyunjin sobbed, "so why? Why did you leave me, huh? Why didn't you tell me you were still struggling? I could've helped you" Hyunjin whimpered, sobbing quietly, "I could have saved you..." Hyunjin was now fully sobbing.

He didn't even realise that Jisung had come up behind him and hugged him. Even if Felix couldn't keep his promise in the end, Hyunjin would try his damn hardest to keep his. He would never forget Felix,and as fate would have it...

He never did until his dying days.
