So, I had a crush on boy who's friends with my best friend. And let me tell you, I kept dropping obvious hints for a goddamn year and I kept my little secret also for a year. My best friends didn't know about anything oof.
One day, we had two free bc a teacher was called sick. My best friend (let's call him Pete) and I went to grocery store. Pete wanted chewing gum and I guess he didn't want to go alone? idk so he asked me if I would come along with him. So I said yes. On the way back, I eventually said BUT BY MISTAKE that I have a crush on his friend.
Pete stopped walking and looked me in the eyes and said: I'm so sorry Meme but he has a crush on a friend of yours.
