"Hey, did you guys hear about the new kid?" Jisung asked as he shoved a gummy worm into his mouth.
"Nope," Seungmin replied as he snatched one from his bag. "And frankly, I don't care." He bit the head off and sent him a cocky grin.
"Asshole," Jisung grumbled and you sent him a look.
"Chan would kick your ass if he knew you were cussing around Jeongin," you said as you glanced at your younger brother, who was stuffing his mouth with food.
"I'm not a child," Jeongin pouted, his cheeks puffed out like chipmunk from all of the food.
"Yeah," you rolled your eyes. "The fact that you think so just proves that you are."
"I'm sixty years old," he muttered. You could hear the sulking in his tone and you couldn't help but laugh.
You patted his cheek lightly. "Yes. But you're still so innocent. Unlike the rest of us." You looked around the table at the boys.
In 1959, you and your brother were turned into vampires by your parents. Unfortunately, your parents were killed by hunters and you and your brother were on your own.
Chan found you and took the both of you in. Chan was the leader of a coven of five other vampires. He taught you and Jeongin how to survive and you always felt grateful towards him.
"Did you two study for the test today?" You asked Jisung and Hyunjin. As you looked at the two boys, you watched as their eyes widened.
"You two are impossible," you grumbled. "I honestly don't think you'd make it without me."
"Of course we wouldn't, babe," Jisung said and you rolled your eyes at him.
"On a real note," Hyunjin said as he glanced at you. "You really are the best, Y/N."
But you didn't hear him. Your attention had been taken by the blonde haired boy who had walked into the cafeteria. You figured that he was the new kid Jisung had mentioned earlier.
He was standing awkwardly, his hands stuffed in his jacket pockets. You smiled to yourself as you started to read his mind. He didn't want to be there any more than you did. But you couldn't blame him. It was the middle of the semester and he was new.
"Hello? Earth to Y/N?" Hyunjin said and you slowly looked over at him. His eyebrows raised with amusement. "Welcome back."
"Sorry," you replied. "What did you say, Jinnie?"
"Nothing important. I just said that you were the best."
Your cheeks flushed. "Thanks," you said. Then school bell rung. You stood as you grabbed your bag. "Well, time for class boys."
"Yeah, yeah," Jisung waved you off as he and Hyunjin stood. "Time to go bomb this test."
Hyunjin laughed and you shook your head. "You could use my notes, you know?" You said then looked at your brother. "I'll see you at lunch, all right?"
"Yep," Jeongin replied then gave you a dimpled grin, making your heart swell. You kissed the top of his head then headed to class with Jisung and Hyunjin.
"Are you really going to let us use your notes?" Hyunjin asked as the three of you walked down the hall.
You shrugged. "I guess so," you said. The three of you walked into your classroom and to your seats in the back. You got into your bag and handed your notes over to the two boys.
"Ah, you're an angel, Y/N," Jisung said as he opened your notes. Hyunjin leaned over and looked while you fished your book out and started reading.
"You can take the seat next to Y/N," you heard your teacher say and you looked up from your book. The blonde boy was in your class and was standing with your teacher. Your eyes met his and you gave him a soft smile.
He thanked the teacher then walked to the back. He slid into the seat next to you and you did everything you could to prevent yourself from looking at him. The tardy bell rung and the teacher started talking about the test. You heard small groans around the room and you couldn't help but smirk.
"Excuse me?" You heard the boy beside of you say and the first thing you noticed was how deep his voice was. You looked over at him. "Do you have a pencil I could borrow?"
Oh, he's Australian. "Sure," you mumbled. You got into your bag and grabbed one of your pencils before handing it to him. "Here you go."
"Thanks," he said, offering you a smile. Wow, he's beautiful. Clear skin, deep brown eyes, plump lips, and a ridiculously defined jaw line. He had also had a bunch of freckles dusted across his cheeks, which just enhanced his beauty. "I'm Felix, by the way."
"Oh," you cleared your throat and forced yourself to stop staring. "I'm Y/N."
"Nice to meet you," he replied and smiled again. He had to have noticed you staring at him. You weren't the most subtle person when it came to things like that. If he had noticed you, he probably just chose to ignore it.
"Okay class!" Your teacher said, gaining your classmates' attention and yours. "I'm going to pass out tests now. You know the drill. If I catch you talking, I will take your test and you will get an automatic zero. Afterwards, you may talk but only to those who are also finished."
No one said a word as your teacher started passing the tests out. Your attention turned to the surface of your desk as Jisung gave you your notes back. You quickly put them back into your bag and waited for your teacher to hand you the test.
As soon as she did, you immediately started on it. About twenty minutes later, you stood and walked to the front of the classroom. As you headed back to your seat, you noticed Felix staring at you. You smirked a bit while reading his thoughts. He was shocked by how quick you had finished the test.
You slid into your seat and grabbed your book. You opened it up and started reading. About ten minutes later, Felix stood up and walked to the front to turn his own test in. Then he returned to his seat.

"Okay class! We will be starting a project and doing it for the next month!" Your teacher said the following week. "You will have a partner and you will not be choosing whoever you want. You will be working with the person next to you."
You glanced over at Hyunjin and Jisung, who both frowned. The three of you had always worked together when it came to projects.
"I guess it's you and me," you turned your attention to Felix, who offered you a small smile. You nodded and smiled back. You had a feeling that it wouldn't be too bad.
"This project's grade will be a third of your semester final so please take it seriously," your teacher said then shot a look towards Jisung. You couldn't help but laugh, just like the rest of the class did. Jisung shrugged and the teacher continued.
"We won't be working on it much during class so most of the work will have to be done after school," she said. "But for the rest of the day, I'll let you discuss the project with your partners. It can be on anything as long as it's educational and appropriate."
With that said, she walked behind her desk and sat down. Then everybody turned towards their partners and started talking. "So, what do you want to do it on?" You asked and Felix's eyes widened a little. He wasn't expecting you to ask for his input.
He hummed. "We could do it on one of the wars or something," he said. "Do you want to work at my house or yours?"
"Yours," you replied quickly. Having a human in a house with a bunch of vampires wasn't exactly ideal. "We can start today if you want."
"Sure," he responded. Soon, the final bell of the day rung and you looked over at Hyunjin and Jisung.
"Tell Chan I'll be home late," you said and they both exchanged a look. Jisung was wondering where you were going and Hyunjin was sure Chan would be mad if you came home too late. "I'm going to work on this project with Felix. And don't worry, I'll be home before ten."
"I hate it when you do that," Hyunjin grumbled in response, referring to you reading their thoughts. But you couldn't help it. It was just a gift that had came with your vampirism.
"I think it's pretty cool," Jisung responded. He himself had the gift of seeing the future. Hyunjin rolled his eyes and Jisung smiled at you. "I'll see you later then?"
"Yep," you nodded. You watched the two boys leave the classroom before looking over at Felix. "Ready?"
"Yeah," he said while nodding his head a bit. He looked down at his hands and his eyes widened. "Oh, here's your pencil back." He went to hand it to you but you shook your head.
"Keep it," you replied. "Shall we?" Felix smiled and nodded. Then the two of you headed out of the classroom and out to the parking lot. You followed Felix to his car and you both got in.
Felix lived out of city limits. His house was nice and located in the midst of a bunch of trees. The leaves were starting to change color and you smiled to yourself as you looked out of the window. You had always loved autumn.
You followed Felix into his home and you immediately noticed how modern and clean everything was. "This is nice," you said. "Do you live alone?"
"Oh, no," Felix replied as the two of you went up a small flight of stairs. "I live with my uncle. This is his house."
"What about your parents?" You asked.
He glanced back at you. "They died," he said and you read his thoughts, you frowned. His parents had died in a tragic car accident. He sighed. "That's why I moved here."
"Oh," you said. "I'm sorry about your parents."
Felix shrugged. "It's okay," he said. He lead you into a bedroom and put his bag onto the bed. "What about you?"
"My parents are dead, too," you said. "So it's just me and my younger brother."
Felix frowned a bit. "I'm sorry to hear that," he said. He licked his lips and grinned. "Are you hungry?"
"Um, no," you said and shook your head. "I'm okay."
"All right," he said. "I'm gonna go get something to eat. Just make yourself at home. I'll be right back." You nodded your head and he walked out of the room.
You looked around. Felix's room was really nice and had a chill vibe. From the white walls to the navy colored comforter on his bed. He had shelves on the walls that held a large collection of organized video games.
"All right, I'm back," Felix said as he returned with a big bag of Doritos in his hands.
"You sure like video games," you said as you glanced at the shelves. Felix grinned sheepishly then walked over to his bed, plopping down on it while stuffing a chip into his mouth.
"They take my mind off of things," he said. He wiped his fingers on his jeans and hauled his bag onto his lap. "Let's get started on this project thing."
You nodded and got into your bag. The two of you spent the next few hours working on the project. You had decided to do it on one of the wars like Felix had mentioned earlier. Felix ended up being a very hard worker and you liked that.
As you looked at the time, you cursed under your breath. It was almost ten. Chan is gonna kill me. "I have to go," you said.
Felix looked at the time. "Oh shit, I didn't realize what time it was," he apologized and you waved him off as you shoved your things into your bag. "Come on. I'll take you home."
You grinned at him as you slipped your bag onto your back. The two of you headed out of his room and out to his car. Then you told him where you lived and he drove you home.
"Nice house," Felix mumbled as he pulled up beside of your house and you thanked him. "I really am sorry."
"It's okay. Don't worry about it," you replied while shaking your head. You met his eyes. "I'll see you tomorrow?"
"Yeah," he said and nodded his head. You slung your backpack onto your back and went to get out of the car. "Wait, Y/N!"
You glanced back at him. "Yes, Felix?"
"Would you maybe want to go out with me?" He asked and you watched as his cheeks turned a light shade of pink. "Like on a date?"
You smiled at him before nodding. "I'd love to," you said. The smile that grew onto Felix's lips was infectious. He was relieved you had said yes to him. He really wanted to get to know you better. You tucked your hair behind your ear. "I really should get going."
"Okay," Felix said. "See you at school." You nodded again then got out of the car. Then you rushed up the stairs and into the house.
•••
Felix plugged his earphones into his ears as he walked out of the convenient store. He walked along the sidewalk as he headed to his uncle's work.
For the past week, his car was in the shop so he'd been having to get rides with his uncle. His uncle would leave work long enough to pick him up from school then he'd take him back to work. Then Felix would wait for him to get off so they could go home.
The sound of a woman screaming had Felix stopping in his tracks. What the hell? he thought as he took an earbud out. He heard another scream and he became rigid. He took cautious steps towards the sound.
He came to an alley and peeked his head around the wall. His heart skipped a beat when he saw a woman trapped against the wall by a man. The man's head was buried in her neck and he seemed to be feeding off of her.
Felix didn't know what to do. He was frozen in his spot with fear. The woman's eyes met Felix's and she uttered out a single word. Help. A gasp left Felix's chest and the man's head snapped up to look at him.
Felix dropped the bag in his hand and forced himself to run. The man suddenly appeared in front of him and Felix gasped. The man snarled at him, showing off his bloody fangs. Felix swallowed and took a cautious step back.
The man smirked and was about to launch at him. Felix quickly shut his eyes and prepared himself for the impact but it never came. He reopened his eyes to see you throwing the man off of him.
He watched as you moved with supernatural speed, throwing inhumanly strong punches at the guy. Suddenly, you snapped the man's neck and he fell to the ground with a thud.
You rushed to the woman in the alley, who looked at you with wide eyes. "I won't hurt you," you said looking into her eyes. You brought your wrist up to your mouth and bit down into the flesh. Then you held it to the woman's mouth. "You have to drink."
The woman was hesitant at first but then she started drinking from your wrist. You saw the color return to her face and you removed your wrist from her mouth. "You're gonna be fine. Go home and forget everything that happened tonight," you said as you looked into her eyes again.
The woman nodded and you helped her stand. Then she rushed out of the alley and headed home. Your eyes moved to Felix, who was standing at the end of the alley and watching you.
You approached him with cautious steps. "Are you okay, Felix?"
"I'm fine," he mumbled. He kept looking at you. He was scared. "W-What are you?" You didn't respond. "You're like him, aren't you? You're a vampire."
You sighed deeply. "Yes."
His heart beat quickened and fear filled his eyes. He was scared of you. "Please don't kill me."
"What?" You replied. Your heart broke at the thought. "I'm not going to kill you. I'd never hurt you, Felix."
You went to take a step towards him but he held both hands out. "No," he said, his voice wavering a bit. "Stay away from me."
"Felix," you pleaded. "Don't be afraid of me."
Felix shook his head and you felt your heart break. "Stay away from me, Y/N. Please."
You simply nodded your head and wiped your tears away. Then within seconds, you were gone. Felix wiped his own tears then headed back to his uncle's work.

Sunday afternoon found you at Felix's front door, two days after that night. He had invited you over to talk about things. You were sure he had questions and you were up for answering all of them.
"What did you want to talk about?" You asked as you both sat down on the couch.
"I have questions," he said. "When you look up 'vampire', all you get is a bunch of theories and fiction. So what's the truth?"
You nodded your head and looked at him. "I'll tell you anything you want to know, Felix."
Felix nodded. "How old are you?"
"I've been eighteen for sixty years," you replied.
"How did you turn?"
"My parents turned me and my brother in 1959," you said. "Our parents were killed by hunters."
"What about garlic?" He asked. "How do you walk in the sun?"
You held up your hand and showed him your ring on your ring finger. "This ring protects me," you said. "As for the garlic, I can have it."
"What about the blood?" He asked. "Like the whole feeding thing."
"I can control my thirst," you said. "We don't drink from the vein like most of our kind. We don't like to kill innocent people so we use blood bags. That's the way we choose to survive."
"Are there other vampires in Seoul?" He questioned.
You nodded. "My coven," you replied. "Chan took us all in. We're all like a big family."
"What about stakes?"
You nodded once. "They can kill us."
"Do you have any superpowers?"
"Speed, strength, compulsion, immunity," you responded. "Some vampires have gifts. Like, I can read minds. And Jisung can see the future."
"You can read minds?" Felix asked and you nodded. "So, what am I thinking right now?" You focused and started reading his mind. He was no longer scared of you. And he really liked you.
"I really like you too," you said and Felix smiled. "I'm sorry I didn't tell you. I guess I was just afraid of losing you."
"You couldn't lose me even if you wanted to, Y/N," he said. He gently cupped your face in his hands, tracing the padding of his thumb across your soft lips. He wanted to kiss you.
"Kiss me then," you muttered. Felix smirked before he leaned closer. His warm lips pressed onto yours and you slowly started moving yours. The kiss was gentle and innocent and only left you wanting more.
Felix smirked as he caressed your cheek softly. "I really care about you, Y/N," he mumbled. "I hope you know that."
You nodded your head. Even if you couldn't read his mind, you could see it in his eyes. "Of course," you said. "I care about you, too, Felix." He smiled that breathtaking smile of his then pressed his lips onto yours again.
•••
After telling him the truth, you and Felix had gotten a lot closer. And every day, you found yourself falling more and more in love with him. You didn't care that you were a vampire and that he was a human. You loved him.
"So you're still coming over for dinner, right?" You asked Felix as the two of you walked to lunch, Hyunjin and Jisung following closely behind you. "I mean, if you're uncomfortable, I totally understand. We can get takeout and..."
Felix cut you off by pecking your lips. "Hush," he mumbled and you let out a small laugh. "I'm coming over. I want to meet everyone."
"I know," you said. "But I'm worried."
Hyunjin wrapped his arm around you. "You're such a worry-knot. We'll behave. Chan would've never agreed to tonight if he didn't trust us."
You sighed. You knew he was right but there was still a part of you that was worried for Felix's safety. Minho was still new to the coven and you were unsure if he could control himself around a human. But you knew that if it came to it, Chan and Changbin would take him out of the room.
"Chan is a great cook, too," Jisung added as the four of you entered the commons. Felix gave him a look. He thought that vampires didn't eat human food. You nearly snorted. "What?"
"He thinks we don't eat human food," you answered him then looked at Felix. "We do eat it. We just can't really survive on it."
As you approached the cafeteria table, Jeongin waved. Seungmin had his nose buried in a book and glanced up only for a secon before going back to it.
"Hey Innie," you said as you kissed the top of Jeongin's head. He grinned and you sat down beside of him. Felix took his spot on the other side of you.
"You're still coming for dinner?" Jeongin asked looking over at Felix.
He nodded. "Yep," he said. He found it slightly amusing that both you and your brother had asked him. He slipped his hand into yours. You looked at him and smiled.
The rest of the day went by quickly and soon, you and Felix found yourselves sitting outside of your house. He reached over and squeezed your hand.
"Babe," he said softly. "If you don't want me to do this, just let me know."
You shook your head. It was too late now. "No, it's okay," you said. "Besides, we're already here." You looked over at him. "I'm just worried."
He brought your hand up to his mouth and kissed the back of it softly. "I'll be okay, Y/N," he sent you a cheeky smile. "I have you to protect me."
You rolled your eyes at your cheesy boyfriend, removing your hand from his grasp. Then you opened the car door and got out. Felix got out himself and walked around the car to stand next to you.
You slipped your hand into Felix's and brought it up to your lips. You pressed your lips against his warm skin, just like he had done moments ago.
"Doesn't it ever bother you?" You asked as you looked at him. His eyebrows furrowed. "My touch." You sighed. "I mean, isn't it cold?"
Felix shrugged. "I don't mind," he said. He actually thought it felt good, especially if he was burning up. He smiled at you. "Shall we?"
You couldn't help but smile back. He was just so beautiful. You nodded your head faintly and lead him up the stairs. You didn't bother knocking as you walked inside.
You could hear Chan and the others talking in the kitchen so that's where you lead him. Chan looked at you both as you stood in the doorway.
"Y/N," he smiled, dimples lightly indenting his cheeks. He looked at Felix. "You must be Felix. I've heard a lot about you." He walked over. "I'm Chan. It's nice to meet you finally."
"You too," Felix said politely. "Y/N speaks highly of you." Chan sent you small smile and you grinned back.
Changbin walked into the kitchen and smiled at Felix. "Hello. I'm Changbin," he introduced himself. "It's nice to finally meet you. Y/N has never brought a boy home."
"Changbin," you groaned and he sent you a cheeky smile. You rolled your eyes at him.
Felix chuckled lightly. "Well, I feel honored then," he said.
You looked at Minho, who was standing off to the side and watching. He was keeping his distance because he didn't want to chance hurting Felix. You took a deep breath. It's gonna be okay.
Felix looked at Minho and Minho avoided his gaze. He wondered who he was. You leaned closer to Felix. "That's Minho," you told him. "He's our newest."
"Is that why you worried about tonight?" He whispered and you nodded.
You looked around the kitchen. "Where's Jisung?" You asked. Hyunjin and Seungmin were sitting at the table with your brother. But you didn't see Jisung.
"I have no clue where Jisung is," Chan replied. "I can never keep track of him."
Jisung came out of nowhere and popped up behind him. "I heard my name," he said and Chan jumped before turning around to whack him. But Jisung was too quick. His eyes met Felix's. "Good to see you again, Lix."
"You too," Felix said. He laughed as Chan whacked the back of his head. Jisung winced and rubbed his head.
"Since you want to be a sneaky little shit, you get to clean the kitchen after dinner," Chan said and Jisung's mouth fell open. Chan smirked triumphantly then turned back to the stove.
"That's not fair!" Jisung complained but Chan ignored him. Jisung pouted and practically stomped over to the table, plopping down in one of the chairs. He crossed his arms and continued pouting. And you couldn't help but laugh.
"All right!" Chan said. "Dinner is ready." Changbin helped Chan carry the food to the table and everyone sat down.
Chan and Changbin made polite conversation with Felix, getting to know him better. You had had several talks with the both of them how much he meant to you. They were both happy for you and after seeing how the two of you were together, they accepted it.
As everyone was finishing up, you heard a crashing sound from the main hall. Minho was quick to stand up and run to check it out. You suddenly got a whiff of an unknown scent. It was earthy and masculine.
"Someone's here," you said. You could hear the person's thoughts. You could also hear Minho's. It was a hunter. You all heard a loud groan and the sound of a sword.
"Minho," Chan mumbled then he stood up from his seat.
"No, Chan!" You said standing as well and walking over to him. "It's a hunter!" You grabbed his arm and tears filled your eyes. "We can't save him."
You could hear the hunter's heart beat now. He was close. Suddenly he appeared in the doorway of the kitchen. He had dark hair and dark eyes and was dressed in black. He pulled out his sword and smirked.
"No!" You screamed as you pushed Chan out of the way. The sword went into you instead and you groaned in pain. The sword was laced with vervain, a poison to vampires. Your eyes met Felix's as he rushed over to you.
He pushed the hunter away from you and pulled the sword out. He turned around and quickly pushed the sword into the hunter's abdomen. The hunter fell to the floor, blood spluttering out of his mouth.
"Y/N!" Felix rushed to your side, cradling your upper body into his arms. Tears filled his eyes as he looked at your wound. He was surprised to see that you weren't healing. "You're not healing."
"The sword..." you muttered. "It's laced with vervain." You could feel yourself getting weaker and your eyes drooped.
"No! Y/N, stay with me!" He said then kissed your forehead. "Stay with me, baby." He was scared. He didn't want to lose you. You wanted to tell him everything was going to be okay but you were dying.
Tears streamed down his cheeks and onto your face. Felix cradled you closer to his warm body and kissed your lips softly. He started to think of that night when you saved the woman with your blood. Maybe he could save you with his.
"Felix, no," you mumbled weakly. But he ignored you. He moved his wrist up to your mouth.
"Please, Y/N," he said. "I don't want to lose you." You hesitantly opened your mouth and Felix watched as your eyes turned gold.
Your fangs sunk into his skin and you started to drink from his wrist. You slowly started healing and becoming stronger. Once you felt strong enough, you pulled back and looked up at him.
"Thank you," you mumbled. You caressed his face and kissed him softly. You were grateful for what he had done for you. He had done it because he loved you a lot and would do anything for you.
•••
You walked into the kitchen to find Chan and Felix talking. You leaned against the doorframe and smiled at the two. You loved how much everyone was getting along with him. Even Minho had warmed up to him and was comfortable around him.
You pushed yourself off of the doorframe and walked over to Felix. Felix wrapped his arm around you and kissed your head.
Chan smiled at the both of you. "I'll be right back," he said. "Make sure to watch the rice. It burns easily."
Felix nodded then Chan left the kitchen. Felix walked over to the stove and stirred the rice with a spatula. His eyes wandered over to a knife that was laying on a cutting board.
You wrapped your arms around him and placed a kiss onto his shoulder. It was like something inside of him switched. He suddenly grabbed the knife and stabbed you in the neck.
"Felix!" You screamed. Felix turned around to face you and you noticed his eyes were darker. He reached up and pushed the knife deeper into you. You groaned in pain and moved your hands up to your neck.
"What the hell happened?" Chan yelled as he rushed back into the kitchen. He shoved Felix back and grabbed the handle of the knife. With one swift motion, he pulled the knife out.
Felix's eyes softened, turning back to his usual chocolate brown color. He looked at you, eyes wide and mouth agape. "I-I'm so sorry. I-I don't know what happened."
With that said, he rushed out of the door and you didn't see him for the next three days. You didn't know what was going on with Felix. You knew that he'd never attack you intentionally. Especially try to kill you.
"I know why Felix attacked you," Changbin said as he tossed a leather journal onto the table. He nodded his head towards the journal. He wanted you to read it. "January 9th. 2019."
You picked up the journal and flipped to the entry. January 9 2019 was scribbled at the top of the page in black ink. You read the entry out loud.
"I know what is happening to me. A week after I killed Wonjang, I noticed the sudden urge to kill Jimin. I tried to kill her more than once and that was when I knew something was wrong with me. I love Jimin and I'd never try to kill her.
I found Wonjang's journal and that was when everything made sense to me. I learned that I was taking on the new title of a vampire hunter. And that is because it was I, Lee Keonhee, who killed him.
The journal explained that there were rules about a vampire hunter. If a vampire kills one, that vampire is cursed and haunted until it is driven to commit suicide. However, if it is a human that kills a hunter, that human takes on the name of the vampire hunter."
You looked up from the journal and you took a deep breath. "Felix is the new hunter," you said and Changbin nodded. "What are we going to do? There must be a way to stop it."
"There's one," Changbin nodded. "January 23rd."
You quickly looked back at the journal and flipped to the entry. Your eyes skimmed over the words until you found it.
"I've fought it as long as I can. There's one way out and that's to become a vampire. I don't want to become a vampire but I also don't want to hurt Jimin. I don't know what I should do."
You stopped reading and looked up at Changbin. "Well, obviously, we know what he decided to do," you said as you closed the journal. You sighed. "I don't want this life for him."
"So, what?" Changbin asked. "We leave then? Y/N, I don't want that life for him either but you guys belong together. You're soulmates."
You sighed heavily. "I love him a lot, Changbin" you said and he grinned a bit. "What do you think we should do?"
"Turn me," Felix said as he appeared in the doorway. Both of you turned to look at him. You hadn't even heard him come in.
"I'll let you guys have some privacy," Changbin muttered. He quickly left the room and you resisted the urge to roll your eyes. There was no such thing as privacy when you were a vampire, not when you could hear everything within a hundred mile radius.
"Turn me," Felix repeated. "I've been here long enough to hear everything." He took a step closer to you. "So turn me."
"Felix," you spoke, your voice soft. "I don't want this for you. You have a whole life ahead of you. This..being a vampire..changes everything."
"There's no life without you Y/N," Felix replied. "Please. I can't stand the thought of me hurting you."
"Don't you want a family some day, Felix?" You said. You didn't want this for him. Not at all. "I did." Your eyes watered. "I wanted a family. But I can't now. I'll always be this. I'll always be frozen in time, never moving forward."
"Baby," Felix cooed as he embraced you, wiping your tears away gently with his thumbs. "I love you. So much. There's nothing I'll ever want more than you. And I'm so scared that I'll hurt you." He paused. "Please."
You sighed. "Okay," you mumbled. You slowly moved your wrist up to your mouth and sunk your teeth into the flesh. Then you raised your wrist up towards Felix. "Here."
Felix moved his mouth to your wrist and started drinking your blood. After a minute, he pulled back and pressed his lips onto yours. You kissed him back passionately, letting all of your emotions pour out and into him.
You pulled back to catch your breath, tracing your fingers along Felix's swollen lips. His eyes fluttered open and he met your gaze. His eyes were no longer a comforting brown color. They were glowing bright red.
