A little camp counselors AU-

We don't have summer camps here, but they sound cool-

7 years old-13 years old...

Once you stepped foot into the summer camp grounds with your older sister, kids swarmed and stared you down as you walked through the court yard hand and hand with your sister.

Your sister was a CIT, and one of the most popular kids at camp, mean while you were the little sister who had a big spot to fill when your sister had to leave the camp.

This camp has been around for decades, both your parents meeting up here when they were your age (7).

Once your sister had dropped you off and settled you in with your age group, kids were all over you, complementing your beauty and wanting to be your friend.

You were quiet a shy camper, or at least to begin with, so you politely declined their be-friending and conversed with other kids that looked like good friends to you.

When you had your first arts and crafts, you were paired up with a little boy.

His hair was a mess and he wore small rounded glasses that made him look like a baby nerd.

As you were making your creations, you decided to start a conversation with the boy and Learnt a lot about him.

His name was seungmin, Kim seungmin. He was a quiet and calm kid, who loved music and liked to do arts and crafts.

He was stunned when you decided to converse with him, since no one had really talked to him or tried to be his friend, but lucky you, you made him smile and started a long lasting friendship that day.

Your sister was concerned and confused on your choice of friends, so one day at lunch she whisked you away from seungmin and had you sit with her and her friends younger siblings.

They were all average adorable kids, sharing the features of their siblings and sharing the same energy and attitude as their siblings, you happened to fit right in with them, and was forced by your sister to sit with them everyday at lunch.

As the summer went by, you started to click and bond with the kids at your forced table, be-friending them and making your young age popularity at the camp rise.

You felt bad everyday not being able to sit with seungmin, but he understood that You were popular and had to fit in with your sister, however you managed to be able to spend time with him in arts and crafts and evening activities.

Seungmin was fine with whatever time you would have to be able to hang with him, since he didn't have that many friends and preferred you over the other boys.

As time and summers went by, the friendship you shared with seungmin blossomed.

You would hang out with your "group" at lunch and cabin activities, seungmin at courtyard and evening activities or whenever you both had time lying around away from your cabins.

By the age of 10, seungmin had mastered the art of making friendship bracelets, and would make you a bunch for random occasions.

You would both wear matching ones everyday, as something to remember each other after summer and to show off your friendship.

As you got older, kids teased you both For the matching bracelets, mistaking you and seungmin as a couple or teasing you both for your close actions and feelings for one another.

It made you upset, you hated and was tired of the endless teasing, so you decided to avoid seungmin for a month as you thought it would be the best for you both.

Seungmin hated you avoiding him, all though it let him come to his senses that he had feelings for you.

You were both still young, 12 almost 13, but the connection you had was serious and he needed you.

When he had returned back to school, he made sure that entire year to plan and gather his courage to confess to you that upcoming summer.

He juggled through studies and tests with learning guitar notes and lyrics whenever he had time, he was a good student but this confession was way more important to him than school.

When the next summer came, he was ready to confess.

Over the year you had gotten a major glow up, he took a little while taking in all the new features but still loved each and every new detail.

Like any other night, he snuck into your cabin so you guys could cuddle and talk, discussing your crazy school years and thoughts.

"I had like 10 guys confess to me this year, you should of seen Valentine's Day tho, my locker was pilled with letters"

"Who wouldn't fall for you though?, your so pretty, and you can't deny that" you both chuckle

"Did you accept any of those confessions?"

"Of course not, let's face it they only wanted me for my looks and popularity, I personally think personality should come first, and none of those boys fitted my standards" you sigh leaning onto seungmins chest.

You could hear his heart pounding, and his head above yours heating up.

You didn't think much of it, so you continued laying on him.

As the summer went by, the more seungmin felt prepared.

It was one of the final nights, and the annual camp out was in place.

Seungmin pulled you away from your group, closer to him, so he could sit with you.

"As you all would know, Now is the time for the talent show, and we have a couple of performances, are you ready seungmin?"

He nodded his head at the councillor, one of his cabin mates passing him his guitar.

"This song goes out to a very special Girl, who's here beside me right now, enjoy the song".

He started playing a soft riff, his eyes filled with so much passion not leaving yours.

You recognized the song once he started pouring out his emotions into the lyrics, trying to control your blush and trying not to cry

"But I can't help, falling in love with you-elvis Presley".

You buried your head into his shoulder, while he sang for you, tears forming in your eyes.

Once he finished singing, every non applauded him as he stood up with you holding your hands.

He tied a small bracelet onto your wrist, both your initials beaded on.

"Promise me, even after what I tell you, even if it changes everything, that you will never take off this bracelet until I see you next?"

You nod your head, wiping your tears with an available hand.

"You can say no if you want, but this will change us forever. Y/n, I feel so sad and dark when your not by my side, but when your with me I'm the most happiest and excited, which explains why when your not with me, when I'm in class or studying, I'm thinking about you, thinking what you could be doing, thinking If your okay or not, so I guess what I'm trying to say is...Is that I like you"

You gulped nervously letting all your tears out

"I'm sorry seungmin..I-I like you to, but, i can't be with you, it's to Much for me, and you already know how much pressure I'm under, but I promise I'll never forget you, and that I'll always wear this, now if you excuse me, I-I must b-be on my way"

And with that you run away from the fire crying hard all the way to your cabin.

Your sister comforted you, even though she was the one telling you that you can't be with seungmin.

You were so stressed and confused, heart broken that you had to reject him.

He was heart broken as well, be he understood because of your family and sister.

You couldn't face another day seeing him, so you left a day early, blocking seungmin from your phone so you could have some space, until you were ready to talk to him again.
