Seungmin was just about to take a bite of his porridge when the king burst through his door, startling Seungmin half to death. 

"Knight Seungmin! I require your assistance!" He bellowed, walking over to Seungmin and sitting down at his table. 

Seungmin cleared his throat and wiped his mouth with a napkin daintily. 

"May I ask what for, your majesty?" 

The king tugged at his beard and turned to face Seungmin, a tired look on his face. "I've heard from your instructors that you graduated top of your class as a knight." 

Seungmin nodded proudly and waited for the king to continue. 

"As it turns out, all of the knights who have gone to rescue my son, Prince Hyunjin, failed miserably. I think that you on the other hand, might be able to save him! Especially with all of your training and intelligence! So what do you say? Will you venture off to bring back my son?" 

Seungmin hummed and pondered the king's offer, getting up to dump his porridge in the garbage. "If I take your offer, can you provide me with two things?" 

The king nodded eagerly and stood up. "Yes of course! Anything you want!" 

Seungmin laughed and put his dish in the wash basin. "I'll need a horse and a map of the area where Hyunjin is being held." 

The king grinned at Seungmin and patted his back heartily. 

"I'll have them prepared for you right away Knight Seungmin!" He gushed before heading out of Seungmin's house and back down the road towards his castle. 

Seungmin chuckled and walked into his bedroom, pulling out his armour and putting on every piece slowly and laboriously until he finally got to his helmet. 

Seungmin put on the helmet, flipping up the protective shield and walking out of his house to wait for the king. 

A few minutes later, the king arrived in a gold chariot with Seungmin's requested items. 

Seungmin smiled and walked over to the king, taking the map from him and getting onto the white stallion alongside the chariot. 

"Thank you your majesty! I'll try my absolute best to rescue your son!"

 The king nodded happily and winked at Seungmin. "I'm sure you'll succeed. Now hurry!" 

Seungmin grinned and looked at the map quickly before galloping off into the woods. 

Seungmin traveled for a few days, going deep into the heart of the woods until he finally came across a tall stone tower out in the open.  

Seungmin smiled and got off his stallion, tying it to a fallen tree and cautiously approaching the large structure. 

His smile quickly disappeared when he saw a bright purple dragon creep around from the side of the tower, it's wings flexed dangerously and it's pupils shrinking and focusing on every movement in the woods. 

Seungmin stood completely still when the dragon looked directly at him. 

The dragon snarled and took a few steps towards him. 

Seungmin gulped, deciding this was his only chance and ran right into the open towards the tower's door.

The dragon let out an angry roar and turned to him, spewing fire from it's mouth and just barely scorching Seungmin's armor before he got into the tower. 

Seungmin slammed the door shut behind him and let out a relieved sigh, looking over at the stone stairs that led up to Prince Hyunjin's bedroom and bravely walking up them. 

Once Seungmin reached the top, he gently knocked on the wooden door and peered inside. Prince Hyunjin stood right in front of him, looking out the window calmly. 

Seungmin walked in and flipped up his protective shield. The noise alerted Hyunjin and he turned to face Seungmin with a gorgeous smile on his lips. 

Seungmin bowed to him and straightened up quickly. 

"Hello Prince Hyunjin! I've come here to rescue you!" He declared, a soft naive look on his face. 

Hyunjin studied Seungmin and let out a soft giggle.

Seungmin's cheeks were flushed bright red and squished cutely in his helmet, giving him a puppy-like appearance. 

"Thank you brave Knight. I'm forever in your debt." Hyunjin murmured, bowing back to Seungmin. 

Then Hyunjin walked closer to Seungmin, smiling at him and tiling his head curiously. "Do you mind if I take off your helmet?" 

Seungmin shook his head in reply and allowed Hyunjin to take off the heavy metal helmet. 

Once free of the armour, Hyunjin leaned in and kissed Seungmin's cheek. 

"You're absolutely adorable. I couldn't be happier that I was rescued by a knight like you." 

Seungmin blushed even more and smiled down at the stone floor in embarrassment. 

"Thank you. But I'm not sure I'll live up to your expectations. I only managed to get in here by sneaking past the dragon. I'm not sure how we're going to get out." He mumbled, ruffling his hair nervously.

Hyunjin laughed and patted Seungmin's shoulder. "Don't worry about it. After all this time being stuck up here, I've made friends with that dragon. He's kind of like a giant puppy to me." 

Seungmin's eyes widened and he stared at Hyunjin in awe. 

"Really?!" 

Hyunjin nodded and grabbed Seungmin's hand, leading him down the stairs. "Yes! Getting out of here will be easy!" 

Once they reached the bottom, Hyunjin and Seungmin walked outside and the dragon immediately ran over to Hyunjin with a smile on its face. 

Hyunjin grinned and let go of Seungmin's hand to pet the giant dragon. 

"Why hello Bishop! How are you my beautiful baby?" Hyunjin beamed, earning a pleased grumble from the dragon. 

Seungmin watched in awe and when Hyunjin finished petting the dragon, he shook his head in disbelief. 

"I can't believe it! If you could control the dragon, then why didn't you escape by yourself?" 

Hyunjin rolled his eyes and crossed his arms over his chest. "I didn't want to go home. What kind of sick person traps their son up in a tower anyway?" 

Seungmin hummed and nodded in response. "That does make a lot of sense. But since you're free, you can go anywhere you want now!" 

Hyunjin took a step towards Seungmin and smiled thoughtfully. 

"I'm not going anywhere if you're not by my side." He declared, pulling Seungmin into a hug and leaving the knight speechless. 

"Y-you really want me to stay with you?" 

Hyunjin pulled away and kissed Seungmin's lips softly. 

"Yes I do." 

Seungmin grinned and put an arm around Hyunjin's waist.

"Alright. I'll stay with you until the end of my days."
