Minsung: Fairy Godparents Can Be A Pain Part 2

Jisung stood there in shock just as Felix caught sight of him and walked across the slightly damp grass to meet him.

"Hey Jisung! You're here surprisingly early." He teased, playfully slinging an arm around Jisung's shoulder.

Jisung took a deep breath and let out a sigh in an attempt to calm himself, clutching his backpack straps tightly as his heart pounded in his chest.

"Felix, do you know who that guy was?"

"Hm? Oh you mean the dreamy guy who saved you from falling, he's a new student! His name is Minho and he just transferred from a tech school." He explained, walking onto the sidewalk with Jisung and entering the school's main hallway.

As Jisung and Felix walked down the crowded hallway, they stopped in front of Felix's history class and Jisung turned to him with a determined look in his eyes.

"I think I've fallen for him Felix. The next time I see Minho, I'm going to try and use my flirting skills to get him to like me back."

Felix chuckled and gave Jisung a soldier salute.

"Good luck soldier! I have faith in you! Also wish me luck, I have a history test today and I only got to study on the bus."

Jisung's eyes grew as wide as saucers and he stared at Felix in shock.

"Is that today?! I didn't study at all!"

Then the bell rang and students scrambled to get to their classes.

Felix nodded and patted Jisung on the back sympathetically.

"Yeah. But after I'm done taking my test you can borrow my notes if you want." He offered graciously.

Jisung let out a sigh of relief and grinned at Felix.

"That'd be awesome. You're a lifesaver Felix. Let's meet in the boys bathroom upstairs after first period."

Felix gave a brief nod and then waved bye to Jisung before walking into his class and rushing to his seat.

Jisung unfortunately didn't have the same luxury as Felix and was forced to jog upstairs to his math class, just barely making it before his teacher showed up.

When his math teacher started blabbing about calculus Jisung unzipped his backpack and pulled out his notebook and pen, flipping to a blank page and immediately doodling little pictures of Minho and him holding hands.

Just as he was about to finish drawing the hair on himself, writing appeared next to the drawing.

"Jisung we talked about this. I told you that my notebook form was for notes only, not drawings or scribbles."

Jisung rolled his eyes and covered the notebook with his sleeve so he could reply back without anyone seeing Chan's sentences magically appear.

"I know but this class is so boring! Can't I just wish for this class to be over?"

"I'm personally not against the idea but you know Changbin will scold you for using magic in school."

"It's worth it though. I know you hate calculus too Chan."

"Fine. I'll grant your wish, but just this once."

After Chan finished writing his sentence the bell rang and the students immediately began packing up, leaving the teacher slightly bewildered as she sank down into her chair and turned to her computer to check for a schedule change.

Jisung threw his backpack on and picked up his notebook and pen casually, a smirk growing on his lips as he walked out of calculus and down the hall to the boy's bathroom.

After Jisung weaved through the crowd of students and made it safely into the bathroom he pulled out his notebook to chat with Chan again.

"Can't I just wish for school to be over?"

"No way Jisung. You've already skipped a lot of school already. Changbin would kill me if he found out too." Chan wrote back, drawing a cartoony sketch of Changbin wacking him over the head with his wand.

Jisung chuckled and was just about to reply back when the door opened and a student walked in.

Jisung let out a quiet gasp and shut the notebook quickly, gulping and looking up to discover it was only Minho who'd walked in.

Minho shoved his hands into his pockets casually and gave Jisung a charming smile.

"Hey I know you! You're the guy I saved from falling this morning. What's your name?" He asked inquisitively, his slightly unbuttoned shirt and loosened tie about to give Jisung a heart attack.

"Um uh my name's Jisung! Thanks for saving me by the way, it would've been really embarrassing if I'd fell."

Minho chuckled and flicked his silky black hair out of his eyes.

"It was no problem. If you ever find yourself falling again I'll be the one to catch you if I can. My name's Minho, I just transferred here."

Jisung felt his knees go weak and he had to cough to bring himself back to his senses.

"So what do you think of this school? Is it better than your last one?"

Minho shrugged and took a few slow, deliberate steps towards Jisung.

"It's pretty much the same, just as boring as my last one. I'm seriously considering skipping the rest of my classes for the day." He murmured, a mischievous smile on his lips.

Jisung gasped and then gave Minho a smirk in reply.

"I was thinking the exact same thing! Do you mind if I join you?"

"Not at all! Follow me!" Said Minho, reaching out to grab Jisung's hand and then leading him stealthily out of the bathroom just as the bell rang.

After the two boys had managed to sneak past the hall monitors and out of school they settled underneath the bleachers out of sight.

Minho and Jisung passed most of the day by talking to each other and complaining about how outdated school was and how they should actually learn things that were relevant to their future.

In the afternoon, they took out their packed lunches and enjoyed a quiet little meal as the sun filtered through the bleachers onto their slouched figures.

As the end of the school day rolled around, Minho turned to Jisung and smiled.

"I just want to say thanks for hanging out with me today. The guys I used to hang out with at my old school were jerks, but you're nothing like them. There's something different about you." He murmured, leaning against the bleachers and studying Jisung kindly.

Jisung blushed and fiddled with his notebook to avoid looking Minho in the eyes.

"I really enjoyed hanging out with you today too. If you ever want to skip school again just call me and we can spend the whole day talking."

Minho scooted closer to Jisung until they were only a few inches apart.

The school bell began to ring, signaling the end of the day but neither one of the boys noticed it.

They were too busy staring at each other and thinking about the gap between them that could be closed by just one single move forward.

Minho softly placed a hand on Jisung's cheek and moved so close that Jisung could see his eyelashes flutter.

"We can do more than talking if you'd like." He whispered while moving towards the other as carefully as a photographer might move towards a grazing deer.

Just as their lips were about to collide Jisung gasped and stood up, dropping his notebook in the process.

"I'm so sorry Minho! I need to catch my bus! I'll see you tomorrow!"

Then the flustered boy ran as fast as he could towards the buses lining up at the front of the school. Minho chuckled and shook his head then peered down at the notebook curiously.

"What are you waiting for? Open it! I know you want to." A small voice singsonged.

Minho groaned and took out two black earrings barely noticeable to the eye, watching as they transformed into two fairy-like creatures.

"Why do you always say stuff like that Hyunjin? He's my friend, I'm not going to invade his privacy just so you'll be satisfied."

Hyunjin cackled and then shrugged nonchalantly.

"I'm an anti-fairy Minho, that's just how I am. Same with Seungmin too even though he never likes to admit it."

Seungmin rolled his eyes and smacked Hyunjin on the back of the head as he flew over to the journal.

"I can sense a strange energy coming from this journal. You might want to check it out anyway Minho. Who knows, it might be an evil creature we can associate with."

Minho sighed and flipped open the journal's pages reluctantly, stopping at the last place where Jisung wrote. His eyes scanned the page and then widened when he caught sight of a sentence appearing all by itself.

"Well well well Minho! It looks like your friend is associated with fairies!" Hyunjin hissed, drawing a star symbol on the journal's page and watching as the whole book transformed back into Chan.
