Hyunsung: Uptown Boy

Jisung finished wiping off the red Cadillac with a rag and stepped back to admire his handiwork.

The car practically sparkled underneath the garage headlights and Jisung grinned, wiping the perspiration off his forehead with the rag.

Jisung's buddy, Changbin walked over to him and gawked at the car.

"Awesome job Jisung! I just can't believe that somebody would have faith in us to fix up this beautiful car."

Jisung shrugged and put the rag over his shoulder, his green mechanic outfit framing his thin body nicely.

"Yeah. The person who owns this car must be rich. I can't wait to finally see them in person."

Changbin's eyes widened and he gestured to the car garage filled with spare car parts and random tires scattered everywhere.

"They're coming here?!"

Jisung nodded and smirked, leaning against the Cadillac. "They're coming this afternoon."

Changbin looked down at his wristwatch and chuckled.

"They'll be here in two minutes and I'll be on break! Good luck Jisung!" He teased, walking out of the garage and into the employee's only section of the building.

Jisung rolled his eyes and bit his lip, nervously awaiting the owner of the red Cadillac.

Jisung was so busy worrying that he almost didn't notice the man waiting outside.

Jisung sighed and walked over to them.

"How can I help...you." He trailed off in shock at the sight of the gorgeous man in front of him.

The male had on a loose fitting white dress shirt and navy pants, a pretty grin gracing his face.

"I'm Hwang Hyunjin. I'm here to pick up my Cadillac."

Jisung's mouth dropped open.

"You own that car?"

Hyunjin chuckled and nodded, walking over to it with Jisung.

"It's beautiful right? I'm a huge fan of this model." He explained, running his hand over the smooth paint job.

Jisung gulped and ran a hand through his hair. "It's a classic 1980's red Cadillac. How'd you get your hands on it?"

Hyunjin smiled and looked at the car lovingly.

"It was my father's. He's more into Ferraris though so he decided to give it to me."

Jisung stared at Hyunjin in awe. "Ferraris?! Are you guys billionaires or something?!"

Hyunjin looked at Jisung and chuckled, his smile practically melting Jisung's heart.

"We're comfortable. Now, how much do I owe you?"

Jisung's cheeks flushed and he pulled his notepad out of his pocket. "It says you owe six hundred twenty-five dollars."

Hyunjin hummed and reached into his pocket, pulling out his wallet and counting out six hundred twenty-five dollars in cash.

"Here you are! Thanks for the great work on my Cadillac! I'll keep you guys in mind the next time I have car troubles." He purred, handing Jisung the money and patting his shoulder thoughtfully.

Then he got into the Cadillac and pulled out of the garage onto the street, disappearing with a rev of the engine.

Changbin walked into the garage in his regular clothes with a smirk on his face.

"So how did it go?"

Jisung sighed and looked up at the ceiling, a starstruck look in his eyes.

"It looks like I'm in love with an uptown boy."

Changbin laughed and smacked Jisung's back harshly, bringing him back to reality.

"Get your head out of the clouds lover boy. We have to go meet up with Chan at the bar tonight and I don't want to have to tell him we were late because you were daydreaming again."

Jisung stuck out his tongue at Changbin and threw the rag at him.

"Fine. No need to be rude Binnie. At least I can actually find love, you're just a sad single." He teased, running out of the garage towards the employee's changing room.

Changbin gasped and started running after him, dashing through the garage and into the changing room.

"You take that back you little rat!" He demanded, walking in on Jisung putting on his shorts and pushing him over.

Jisung fell to the floor laughing, the cold patterned tile cooling down his warm, tan skin.

"No way! Now let me change in peace!"

Changbin rolled his eyes and smiled, crossing his arms over his muscled chest. "Fine, but you owe me a drink just for saying that."

Jisung sighed and pouted at Changbin while pulling on his gray t-shirt. "Do I have to? I'm saving up to impress Hyunjin."

Changbin chuckled and shut the curtain, turning his back and leaning against the wall.

"You know it'll never work out right?"

Jisung poked his head out of the curtain, his eyebrows furrowed curiously. "What do you mean?"

"It's just, he's an uptown boy with a ton of cash and cars. You're a sad mechanic getting just enough money to pay for your apartment and some food. Do you really think his father would allow you two to be together? Who even knows if he's okay with the idea of his son dating a boy!" Changbin explained, fiddling with his silver necklace.

Jisung smiled and pulled back the curtain, walking out and placing a gentle hand on Changbin's shoulder.

"I appreciate you worrying about me, but I don't even know if Hyunjin likes me back. Besides, who knows if this'll be a one time fling or a lifelong commitment. All I know is that I'm in it to have fun. Now let's get going."

Changbin sighed and looked up at Jisung, a small smile on his face.

"Alright. We'll take my car." He insisted, putting his arm around Jisung's shoulder and walking with him out to the parking lot.

After driving for about half an hour, Jisung and Changbin finally arrived at the bar. Changbin parked the car and they headed into the brightly lit bar and grill.

Once inside, the smell of freshly cooked food filled their noses and Jisung and Changbin had to restrain from salivating at the thought of juicy chicken wings and a pint of cool beer.

Jisung suddenly snapped back to reality when he saw Chan sitting in the corner of the bar, drinking a large pint of beer.

"Hey look Changbin! There's the man himself!" He beamed, elbowing Changbin in the side and pointing at Chan.

Changbin winced and rubbed his side, looking over to where Jisung was pointing and smiling happily.

"Well, what are you waiting for idiot?! Let's go greet him!" He beamed, running with Jisung over to Chan's table.

"What's up Chan!?" Jisung and Changbin yelled in unison.

Chan chuckled as Jisung and Changbin ruffled his curly hair and poked him playfully in the side.

"Hey guys. Have a seat!" He insisted, gesturing to the empty spots in front of him.

Once they were seated, Changbin sighed and rubbed his stomach.

"Is it alright if we order something Chan?"

Chan took a sip of his beer and nodded. "Order anything you want guys! It's on me."

Jisung and Changbin grinned at each other and Changbin waved his arm in the air for the waiter to come over.

Jisung took a sip of Chan's beer and almost spit it out when he saw who the waiter was.

"Hyunjin?!" He blurted out through a series of coughs. Hyunjin grinned and placed a hand on his hip.

"Jisung? What a pleasant surprise!"
