There is a metallic purple lamp in the corner furthest from the door.
There is one window, beside the lamp.
The walls have paintings of farmland.

Safeties
It's up the stairs, therefore, less likely to be attacked first.
There are a lot of unknowns, giving them more safety together.

Dangers
As they are young, they are less likely able to defend themselves too well.
The window can be smashed, scattering glass everywhere and providing an extra way to get into the house.

The room was clearly used a study room for the family.
