Hyejoo placed Googie on the couch looking around Taehyungs apartment, it hadn’t changed much apart for the box which Taehyung had got for Googies toys as well as the gifted frame he received on Christmas on his coffee table. Taehyung took out a blanket covered the child before saying he would go get the rest of their stuff from the car.
He showed Hyejoo to her room so she could freshen up and sort herself out, before going back to the living room in case Googie woke up. He didn’t want the child to panic especially after the eventful day the little one had. Googie had woken up rather confused and if it wasn’t for seeing Tae the child would for sure would have panicked. Taehyung explained that they would be staying over, making Googie become ever so excited; it was his first over sleepover. Taehyung nodded helping Googie plan the evening and eventually taking the child to the room he would be staying at with his mother.
Hyejoo smiled seeing her child take this better than expected, Googie being far too busy checking the room he would be sleeping in. The bedroom despite being spare was well kept and Googie gasped as he looked around. The double bed lay in the centre, cream sheets which smelt of lavender. A wooden panel used as a headboard , shelves added to it for two lamps to be placed at either side of the bed. There was a wardrobe on the other side and that was about it; small yet simple. Googie told Taehyung how he liked it and jumped onto the bed, causing creases to form on the covers. Hyejoo gasping at the once neat bed now messy and gave Taehyung an apologetic smile.
As an act of gratitude Hyejoo offered to cook, looking through what Taehyungs kitchen had to offer she ended up making stir-fry noodles as well as roasted chicken strips. Taehyung and Googie waited on the kitchen island sitting on the highchairs, looking at the food in the pan to appear on their plates. Googie at first had clutched onto the edge of the table feeling scared of the height and feared falling.
During the movie, Googie had began to drift off. Hyejoo smiled stroking his cheek, to where the tears had dried out a few hours before. Despite his nap on the way here, the boy was tired after crying buckets followed by the hyper energy over his first sleepover. “Jimin’s coming up.” Taehyung spoke randomly putting his phone down and going to the doors to inform Jimin to be quiet as Googie was asleep.
Jimin had been waiting for his shift to end since he had received from Taehyung. He wanted to go to Hyejoo and console her as well as beat the crap out of the man who had hurt his friend way too much, now that he was physically able to. He was a forgiving person, but he held a grudge against Hajoon. He had infact gone to check if he could get off early but unfortunately for him it wasn’t possible. He calmed down when Taehyung text him saying they were safe and calm in his apartment and he could drop by later followed by another message which included his address. Jimin was ever so grateful that Hyejoo had finally made a close friend like Taehyung.
“Hyejoo I’m so glad your okay.” He cried pulling Hyejoo into a hug. Thankfully Hyejoo had removed Googies head from her lap expecting Jimin to do something like this. Hyejoo smiled back saying how it was all thanks to Tae. Hyejoo put the kettle on so they could all discuss what had happened as well as calm Jimin down.
“So erm, Hajoon came and started yelling at me to let him see Googie being a father and all. I told him he was no father doing what he had done and thankfully Taehyung came before he could come too close to me. Then he started trashing the place by throwing things. He said if I don’t let him see Googie he is going to take this to court. I just don’t get why he wants to see Googie now.” Hyejoo told Jimin rubbing her inner palm to stay calm.
“I’m gonna kill that bastard.” Jimin cursed making Hyejoo look up. Jimin barely cursed only when he was very angry for example now. “I’ll look into what Hajoon has been up to and Taehyung is right you can't stay at your apartment, the only problem is I have no space at mine.” He let out a groan of frustration thinking of what he could do. Jimin had had to moved into a single bedroom apartment close to the station for any emergencies which now became a hassle for him. “Hyejoo your both welcome to stay here for how long you like.” Taehyung offered making Jimin clap his hands.
“Perfect, I mean its for the best then you don’t have to worry about Hajoon showing up when your alone.” Jimin explained knowing Hyejoo would want to interject. “I know that but I don’t want to be troubling you more than I have Tae.” She spoke worriedly realising Taehyung had already done a lot for her. “Hyejoo what are friends for. Plus I want you and Googie to stay safe. So its sorted you will be staying here until further notice and we can go pick up your things tomorrow.” Taehyung reassure her with his usual boxy smile, making Hyejoo no longer feel guilty.

As promised by Tae, Hyejoo and Taehyung went to go get some more things as the mother and son duo would be staying longer. Aunt Minnie babysat Googie after he had packed some specific toys he had wanted to take. Hyejoo packed her clothes, while Taehyung packed some clothes for Googie. As Hyejoo packed some essentials Taehyung began to take her suitcases down to the car. When he came up he saw Hyejoo pacing forward and back in worry.
When she saw him she coughed awkwardly before asking, “Is it okay if we dismantle my desk and take it to yours?” she wearily asked not wanting to make Tae feel like she was taking over the apartment. Taehyung laughed at how wearily she asked that and nodding in return. “I mean of course you need a desk, I heard your doing well at your job as project leader.” He teased but every word he said was true, Jin couldn’t stop praising her every time Taehyung asked about her.
Taehyung dismantled the desk easily without Hyejoo’s help and even boxed it up for her so no parts would be damaged. Hyejoo bought him a drink to keep him hydrated after working a lot. Taehyung drank the juice in one gulp proceeding to wipe the sweat off his neck with the back of his palm.
Hyejoo couldn’t help but widen her eyes at how hot Taehyung looked. She always saw him in a soft manner, but this may have changed her decision. He wore a white t shirt which had a wide neck exposing his buff chest a little, the sweats proceeding to slide down his neck didn’t help otherwise and Hyejoo began to turn red. She hurriedly left the room saying she forgot something leaving Tae confused.
Googie had wanted to help saying he was grown up now that he as five. So he helped Tae and Hyejoo carry things up to their apartment. Googie first dragged his suitcase which had wheels on, then came down to take all his plushies. The plushies were bigger than him and blocked his view as he swayed side to side carrying them, throwing them onto the couch when he reached the apartment.
Googie then helped Taehyung fix Hyejoo’s desk together by handing him the tools, while she placed her and her sons clothes into the wardrobe. Hyejoo kept feeling like she forgot something and Taehyung told her it was fine and that he would take her back to her apartment whenever needed.
By the time the three had finished, they were exhausted. Even though Hyejoo said she didn’t mind cooking for them Taehyung denied saying it was already late and that they would order. Having one less thing to do Hyejoo went to go have a bath in her new home as Taehyung played with Googie.
